Opinion: North Korea creates more uncertainty in the South-East Asia as it develops the H-Bomb!

This is not the news you wants to wake-up to on a Sunday morning. You want your tea and coffee, while sipping it, without worry of another giant war. But the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) or the North Korea government clearly trying to push their military capacity. They have been shooting more missiles lately. This has not created a peaceful atmosphere, as Donald Trump as throwing shades of warnings, without any policy or plan. The Japanese has had their warnings and even had a missile over their territory. South Korea has also taken precautions, as they have more anti-missile system, the THAAD-System that they got from the United States. Therefore, the pressure from the nations around the United Nations, clearly has not worked.

Since the DPRK are evolving their missiles and now had made the H-Bomb, this is the news reports from the Korean peninsula and the countries around. Take a look!

Official Statement from DPRK on the H-Bomb:

Pyongyang, September 3 (KCNA) — Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un guided the work for nuclear weaponization on the spot. He was greeted by senior officials of the Department of Munitions Industry of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and scientists of the Nuclear Weapons Institute before being briefed on the details of nuclear weaponization. The institute recently succeeded in making a more developed nuke, true to the strategic intention of the WPK for bringing about a signal turn in nuclear weaponization. He watched an H-bomb to be loaded into new ICBM. Saying that he felt the pride of indomitably bolstering up the nuclear forces at a great price while seeing the Juche-oriented thermonuclear weapon with super explosive power made by our own efforts and technology, he expressed great satisfaction over the fact that our scientists do anything without fail if the party is determined to do. He was acquainted himself with technical specifications and structural and operational characters of the H-bomb. The scientists further upgraded its technical performance at a higher ultra-modern level on the basis of precious successes made in the first H-bomb test” (KCNA, 2017).

CCUK statement on anti-DPRK news:

A spokesman for the Central Committee of the Journalists Union of Korea in a statement on September 1 said this clearly proves that the puppet conservative media are made up of hack writers, servants of bellicose forces at home and abroad and group of traitors with whom we cannot live together” (…) “1. We will sharpen the just writing brushes to defend our leader, our Party and our social system and win a final victory in the confrontation with the US.” (…) “2. We will track down the puppet conservative reptile writers fostering discord within the nation under the auspices and at the instigation of the anti-reunification forces at home and abroad, and throw overboard all of them” (…) “ 3. Our grime and merciless pen will sight the bases which commit hideous crimes against the DPRK by spreading misinformation about it, and beat them to pieces” (…) “The puppet conservative media escalating confrontation with the DPRK while daring challenge the annihilating spirit of the army and people of the DPRK will never be able to evade the shower of retaliatory blows” (Uriminzokkiri, 2017).

China Statement on the DPRK H-Bomb:

BEIJING, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) — China’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Sunday, expressing firm opposition to and strong condemnation of a nuclear test undertaken by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). The DPRK Sunday successfully detonated an H-bomb, a hydrogen bomb that can be carried by an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), DPRK’s Central Television announced. This was the sixth nuclear test the DPRK has undertaken. “Today, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, despite universal opposition from the international community, conducted another nuclear test. The Chinese government expresses firm opposition to and strong condemnation of the test,” said the statement of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs” (Yamai, 2017).

Phone-Call between Japanese and South Korean diplomats:

SEOUL, Sept. 3 (Yonhap) — Top diplomats of South Korea and Japan held a phone conversation on Sunday to discuss countermeasures against North Korea’s sixth nuclear test, a foreign ministry official here said. Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha spoke with her Japanese counterpart Taro Kono via phone, the official said. They were expected to share their concerns about the North’s escalating threats and discuss responses including the pursuit of a new, tougher U.N. Security Council resolution against its regime” (Yonhap, 2017).

The United Nations Security Council sanctions and the ample pressure from China has not worked. If the international community doesn’t start a clear dialogue with DPRK. The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has to make sure their nations isn’t in the firing line. The Chinese clearly has to make sure their trading partner and neighbor acts righteously. Since they are now making more advanced weapons. This is more worrying since they can damage the nations around it.

The H-Bomb production and test, the DPRK are really forcefully pushing their agenda. That even the North Korean are preparing to retaliate for the words of the United States. This is really not making the situation better. The DPRK are able to develop better weapons, while the nations around has to react to the ascending missiles from Pyongyang government. This is not peaceful measures, this is not something just to make statements. It is time to for real diplomats to travel there and discuss the future.

This is now needed, the Korean peninsula needs it and it is dire. The experiments of new weapons, the tests and the messages sent from North Korea. Their actions are causing troubles even in Japan, South Korea and should do so for China. But the ASEAN, should come out with a protocol and trying to fix things with the DPRK. Because, if the world doesn’t act swift upon it. They might continue with their weapons progression. Not only to strike fear, but to create a big enough arsenal to actually shoot a major city into oblivion. Therefore, the DPRK needs a peaceful resolution and a diplomatic one. This one needs that and the international organization together with partners of the DPRK, needs to do it now. Peace.

US Navy Memo – “Subject: Strategic Readiness Review” (01.09.2017)

Rwanda: Former Presidential Candidate Diana Rwigara and her family detained on an unknown location!

If you did not know, if you are real opposition to President Paul Kagame, you might be hunted, starve in jail or end up poisoned in the diaspora. This is evident in the past and now again in the present. In Rwanda, standing against the one man with heart, brain and control, Kagame, means losing it all or being left out from society. It is as if you are condemning yourself to treason and assault of your rights.

The newest candidate, who was a real opposition, bold enough to stand as a candidate on her own merit and independence was Diane Shima Rwigara. Her candidacy was by the Electoral Commission denied and revoked. She was under house arrest before and after the election; this has now ended, but not in positive way.

If you would think a person, getting 98% of the votes would feel like Teflon and feel on top of the world. Instead, he knows these numbers are not real and has to intimidate the ones who stands against him.

Now, there are reports from friends of the former Presidential Candidate Rwigara, that she are detained on an unknown place together with the family. The police on the other hand are saying: “The romour that is currently circulating that Diane Rwigara has been arrested is not true (1)” (…) “What is true is that police has conducted a search at her family residence as part of preliminary investigations (2)” (Rwanda Police, 30.08.2017). This here is ordinary, that the Police is deflecting the truth and trying to shield their activity against opposition. That is why Victoire Ingabire Umuhoza is behind bars on treason for trying to stand as opposition candidate against Kagame. Therefore, it is not like it new territory for the Rwandan Patriotic Front (PRF) and their head-honcho to push the boundaries of justice.

Therefore, to be honest, I do not have faith in the Rwandan Police to treat her fairly or with swift justification, since they have transgressed against dozens since 1994. The RPF and their squads know exactly what to do, to silence and making someone stop. The Police said their where raiding the home of Rwigara for charges of tax evasion and other trying to justify their breaking and entering. Still, the facts remain that the former candidate are now missing.

The truth tellers is not hired by the Police, neither by the authorities who are trying to deflect their activity and their misbehavior! This is not new and as long as Kagame is running the show, things will not be changing. Since he cannot stomach anyone standing against him, unless they are puppets for the mere show. To say something else at this point is ridiculous!

We can hope she reappear and the transgression against her will and her family will stop, but the authorities of Rwanda are without mercy. They will not do this unless they think they can intimidate her to silence. That is their end-game, to silence and stop the opponent to work against the almighty ruler Kagame. Peace.

Opinion: Ambassador Mahboub Maalim in an interview states the IGAD failure in South Sudan and why!

The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) have been in-charge and had a pivotal role in the peacemaking in South Sudan. Not that it has stopped the civil-war that has escalated since June 2016. The Sudanese People’s Liberation Movement/Army (SPLM/A) and Sudanese People’s Liberation Movement/Army In-Opposition (SPLM/A-IO), also between more rebel fractions inside the Republic, as the Ugandans are trying to enforce unite inside the SPLM. This as there are different states that the rebels and opposition have been strong, while the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) has not had the leadership to secure the Protection of Civilians sites in the Republic. Therefore, the interview of Mahboub Maalim of IGAD in New Vision was exposing something dire. Take a look!

Ambassador Mahboub Maalim on IGAD:

First of all, I am an employee of President Kiir, among other presidents. So, to ask me what I can tell him, is like asking your house helper to tell you to change something in your house. But this is on a light note. President Kiir has been told a lot by his compatriots, heads of state from the region and African Union (AU), and those in the international community circles. People know that the South Sudanese do not have to continue dying after having achieved what they fought for. The situation in South Sudan is very unfortunate, and like you have said, IGAD has done a lot to try to stay on top of it. Recently, the heads of state of IGAD appointed a special IGAD envoy for South Sudan. Hopefully, we will see a lot of changes in the run-up to the operationalisation of the peace agreement in South Sudan” (…) “If the people in South Sudan are saying that we have failed them, I would not get surprised. If I was in their shoes, I would say the same. If I was like them, sitting in a sewage-logged UN camp in my own country, I would feel the same. But just to encourage them, IGAD has tried very much to ameliorate the problems in South Sudan since the problems started in 2013. In 2014, IGAD heads of state had a special meeting to just discuss South Sudan. It has never happened in our history that over 14 heads of state convene to discuss one subject. South Sudan is at the heart of everybody. Of course, whether this will be solved today or tomorrow depends on the goodwill of the South Sudanese themselves” (Lumu, 2017).

That the Ambassador said one vital thing, that he could not push the member states around. Since he could not tell what was wrong in someones else house, like to President Salva Kiir Mayardiit and his South Sudan. The Ambassador also wasn’t shocked if the they felt the IGAD had failed. They have really failed since ARCISS (Agreement for a Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan, Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in the Republic of South Sudan, 2015). Doesn’t seem to be revived or anywhere near being fulfilled.

President Kiir and Dr. Riek Machar of SPLM/A-IO are really battling for supremacy. Together with all the deflectors and deserters from both major armies that are making the situation more problematic. Since the IGAD has not made the peace-agreement work, nor had the capacity to make a successful negotiations between all parties. The South Sudanese should feel betrayed, when the Ambassador Mahboub Maalim are saying: “I am an employee of President Kiir, among other presidents. So, to ask me what I can tell him, is like asking your house helper to tell you to change something in your house”.

So it is not like the IGAD wants to rock the boat, as it is an entity respecting its member states and their direct leadership. Peace.

Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs urges Somalia to continue reconciliation and State-building process (25.08.2016)

NEW YORK, United States of America, August 25, 2017 – The United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs, Jeffrey Feltman, visited Somalia from 24-25 August. During his visit, accompanied by the Secretary-General’s Special Representative, Michael Keating, he held discussions with the President of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khayre, Speakers of both Houses of Parliament, the Minister for Constitutional Affairs, the Chair of the National Independent Electoral Commission, and Special Representative of the African Union Commission Chairperson.
“The political commitment of the Federal Government of Somalia to deliver results for all Somalis is impressive” said Mr. Feltman. “These include job creation, infrastructure, fighting corruption, strengthening civil service and improving security.” He urged the Somali Government to continue addressing issues critical to successful peacebuilding and state-building processes, including the advancement and conclusion of the constitutional review process, to advance federalism in the country. Preparations must begin now to lay the groundwork for elections based on universal suffrage in 2020/2021.

Mr. Feltman emphasized the importance of strengthening accountability mechanisms to address and prevent human rights violations. “We also urge the Government of Somalia to ensure dialogue and meaningful participation of women, youth and minorities in the political and reconciliation processes,” he said.

Commending the efforts of the African Union Mission to Somalia (AMISOM) and the Somali security forces in the fight against Al-Shabaab, Mr. Feltman emphasized the need to intensify efforts to develop increasingly capable Somali security forces. This will play a key role in facilitating the transition of security responsibilities from AMISOM to the Somalis, and in achieving long-term security. “The fundamental importance of the African Union support, and the role that AMISOM plays in peace-building in Somalia cannot be overstated,” Mr. Feltman stated.

The Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs reaffirmed the support of the United Nations to the Federal Government, along with key international partners, in implementing a viable National Security structure and a comprehensive approach to security that includes countering violent extremism and improving local governance.

The World needs Rambo right now!

John Rambo: “[alternate line from Director’s Cut] You’re not going anywhere. And there isn’t one of us that doesn’t want to be someplace else. But this is what we do, who we are. Live for nothing, or die for something. Your call” (John Ramo, 2008).

The world is spinning in circle and things are continuing sometimes without any change. But the situations are still uncertain. There are fleeing civilians from the Democratic Republic of Congo, continues civil-war inside South Sudan, oppression in Burundi and Rwanda. Grand issues in regions of Somalia as AMISOM fiercely goes after Al-Shabaab. The continued civil-war infused with control from Saudi Arabia and United States in Yemen. The war inside Syria with the fleeing refugees from there. The international complications this all assess. The massive amounts of people who are inflicted in this conflicts.

This is also the issues created by and their national alliances, like Syria are also in hot-bed with Russia, United States, Turkey and Iran. The same can be said with the international implications to the stalemate between Qatar and the rest of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). That the Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Bahrain and so on are all blocking, so many nations has cut their diplomatic ties with Qatar.

With all the conflicts and bigger diplomatic spats, the world needs Rambo’s. Especially considering that the deaths where it doesn’t counts is showed when it comes to mud-slides in Sierra Leone. The importance of Hurricane Harry, which is credible storm in Texas, but the world should have cared of the 500 deaths in Western Africa.

That the world is significant fragile is with the President Trump and the nuclear codes, the vicious attacks of both representatives and international leaders like Merkel and President Kim Jung-Un. The threats between North Korea and United States are clearly flaring up the tensions in South-East Asia, as the rockets keep shooting-up and testing.

Therefore, with this we need Rambo, someone to come in with confidence. Rambo needs to come into the problems and sort them out. So that the diplomatic disputes gets sorted out, as his spring fears into the ones who are in the same room. If Rambo came with his weapons and his rhetoric, maybe Trump wouldn’t such and ass. Maybe Putin would try out other tricks, than actually using methods of deception. As so many other world leaders would seek peace instead of wars and refugees. Rambo could come in and make a change.

The nice talk of Bono, the ethical codes of United Nations has not worked. The non-peaceful atmosphere is steady in too many places, to many deaths should be examined and not die without any consideration. Rambo could have helped, made sure the council and the world forums would actually not talk, but act. The crisis in South Sudan, DRC, Burundi, Syria, Yemen, Middle East and so on.

The world needs Rambo, the world needs a hero who can actually give a damn, not just make the world a place for multi-national companies who rob the resources and would not care for kids working for militias, so the world can cobalt for the smart-phones production. Rambo needs to come and make change, he might not be perfect. But something has to change. Someone has step-in, Rambo needs to come and significantly change in the world. Times change, but Rambo might sort it out!

Murdock: Rambo, you can feel totally safe because we have the most advanced weapons in the world available to us.

Rambo: I’ve always believed that the mind is the best weapon.

Murdock: Times change.

Rambo: For some people” (Rambo: First Blood Part II, 1985).

#TogoEnMarche: The Togolese people wants the Gnassingbe family to-go!

The Togolese people have now been demonstrating in the streets, many fold who has still walked and demonstrated as the third generation Gnassingbe President are still ruling. This after the third term of Faure Gnassingbe, who are trying to continue to rule with changing rules of law. The Togolese opposition and people are reacting to this. Saddest part of this is death done by police brutality and army responding to the demonstrations. Surely, the people are ready since they don’t want the family of Gnassingbe to rule it anymore.

Pretext:

As photos of this violence spread, it brought back some familiar memories. It reminded some of the early-1990s, when a similar democracy movement gained momentum in Togo before it was brutally cut short by the regime of General Gnassingbe Eyadema. That repressive strongman died in 2005, but his son, Faure Gnassingbe, took over and has continued his father’s style of leadership. Over the years, this has led a new generation of Togolese to grow increasingly impatient, culminating in this weekend’s mobilisation to demand reforms once more” (…) “In the aftermath of these events, Gnassingbe signed a comprehensive political agreement and vowed to enact reforms to allow free and fair elections. Yet 12 years later, and with the president well into his third term having won elections again in 2010 and 2015, the Togolese people are still waiting for this change” (Narourema, 2017).

#TogoEnMarche:

Tensions have erupted in Togo after protests against the ruling Gnassingbe family dynasty over the weekend turned deadly. Two protesters were killed, and 12 gendarmes were wounded in Sokode, 338km north of the capital, Lome, when security forces opened fire to break up demonstrations, the security ministry said on Saturday. Tikpi Atchadam, Togo’s opposition leader and president of the PNP party, put the death toll at seven on Saturday night” (…) “There has been no official statement by the government regarding Saturday’s violent protest. Nabourema said: “People are still so motivated and so ready. They showed so much courage. People were pulling out bullets from their bodies. They were daring the regime and the military.” (Harding, 2017).

But who is Tikpi Salifou Atchadam, leader of the PNP? His detractors take him for a fiery, a dreamer who relies on his community Team. He is accused of having ethnically sounding language of hate. But to all this, the main interested responds: “When you have a language that your interlocutors understand, they trust you and follow you. “” (…) “With his sophisticated language, PNP’s methodical leader answers all questions from journalists, but he takes care to record his interviews himself. Prudence or lack of confidence? He ensures re-listen to these interviews to allow him to “do better” during the following. His declared ambition for Togo is “to stop the dynastic regime that has ruled the country for almost 50 years”. And the means to achieve this, “it is the people,” adds Tikpi Salifou Atchadam”

Yaa Asantewaa’:

It was reminiscent of the exploits and bravery of Ashanti warrior in 1900, Yaa Asantewaa, a native of Ejisu, Kumasi, last Saturday in Ghana’s neighboring country, Togo, when a 37-year-old woman single-handedly arrested a soldier in a demonstration at Sokode in the central part of the country. This happened when some Togolese soldiers opened fire at demonstrators who had taken to the street to protest the dynasty of Gnassingbe family in the country” (Ghanaweb, 2017).

The opposition will continue the fight this one, as the Gnassingbe family of 50 year rule are being demonstrated against. The people want free and fair elections in Togo. They deserve so and they are tired of being taken for granted by the leadership. That the peaceful demonstration in Togo have been met with police brutality, the police have attacked the civilians and killed several innocent.

So #TogoEnMarche or Togo on the move! It needs to move and people are willing to show they are force to be recon with. As they have now for days demonstrated against the Gbassingbe rule, also that they want the republic to return to the 1992 Constitution. Certainly, the Togolese will continue, even if the violence from the state continues. They seem tired of the family and the control from one junta. Peace.

White House: Sebastian Gorka fired from being National Security Aide yesterday – The Sack-Race continues!

The New York Gang, the Trump Administration continues is weekly operation with their steady phase of firing. This time it was National Security Aide or Trump Adviser Sebastian Gorka, an ally of ousted White House Strategist Stephen Bannon. So the Bannonesque part of the administration is winding-down. Still, Trump can still be his racist and dividing-in-chief. He done this with a pardon of racial controversial sheriff Joe Arpaio in Arizona and starting a transgender-ban in the military. Clearly, Trump still can stir controversy without Bannon and his team-mates in the White House.

That Trump fires Gorka is more General John Kelly and wanting more ‘peaceful’ characters inside the White House. Than, having a Neo-Nazi, a White Nationalist inside the White House like Gorka. He will be an issue and a man who was hired and supported by Bannon. With or without him, Trump will still support the racists and the ones who are part of magnificent groups on the “Alt-Right”. He cannot help himself and will not.

That Bannon left and that his former workmate in Breitbart and contributor at Fox News Gorka, clearly will either end back with Bannon at Breitbart or on Sinclair Media. Since, he will still spread his nonsense and hatred for other people. The sacking will not silence him, but his 7 month stint in the White House was because of Bannon, not because Trump knew the man or had a friendship with the man.

Trump actually fired Gorka while he was on family vacation, it shows the extent of him not caring about about his aides, that they are disposables like Pepsi cans. He can fire and hire like he pleases. This shows the chaotic state of the White House, where more and more people are taking a stand against it, after the President showed his true remarks to the Charlottesville ‘Unite the Right’ marches and violence. His popularity is at all time low and the sacking of Bannon and Gorka, doesn’t change the aftermath of the support of the ‘Alt-Right’, White Supremacists, White Nationalists and the KKK. This will now always stain the Presidency and his allies. Even Mnuchin knows this now, he is like the Coca-Cola company who created Fanta so they could sell Fanta during the Nazi-Era in Germany. All, the people left behind in positions and not resigning are compliance with the President.

That Gorka lasted 7 months in the White House was too long stint for a person like this, but the President is the same. He just switching in public after what crowd he is trying to please, the people see it now and the lies are at the forefront, but his acts, Memo’s and Executive Orders, shows his true heart. Even if he fires men with the same kind of ethics, he still has it under his skin. That is evident. Nothing is hiding that in the White House. Gorka might be gone, but the admiration of the fascists and their groups is not gone. Not as long as Trump is in power. Peace.

Somalia: Bancroft Statement on the Operation in Bariire (25.08.2017)
