Prime Minister Boris Johnson letter to President Emmanuel Macron (25.11.2021)

Opinion: Letters to the 1922 Committee is a bad omen for PM Johnson

At least 8 Conservative MPs” are thought to have now submitted letters of no confidence in Boris Johnson to Graham Brady. Lord Frost now lined up to give a speech to “stiffen the sinews” to backbench Tory MPs at the “1922 committee” in support of Brexit & Johnson” (Nick Tolhurst, 24.11.2021)

This is the possible start and the ending of Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Why you may ask? Well, the 1922 Committee isn’t where any Head of State or leader wants their letters of “no confidence” to go to. When letters are sent there and said they have “no confidence” in someone. It is signalling he end of reign.

The same happened to Theresa May. The MPs sent letters to the 1922 committee before the votes of “No Confidence” in the Prime Minister happened in the chambers of Parliament.

The Parliament own page says this about it:

The 1922 Committee, also known as “the 22”, is a committee of all backbench Conservative MPs that meets weekly when the Commons is sitting. Its chair, usually a senior MP, is elected by committee members and has considerable influence within the Parliamentary Party” (UK Parliament – ‘The 1922 Committee (the 22)’).

Boris Johnson who is an inept and liar should be worried. It is not like he has governed well or a well run government. No, his a corrupt and flawed person who cannot leverage so much more power. As the scandals are running wild, MPs and Cabinet members caught in trouble and him trying to shield them. This grand corruption and lack of service delivery isn’t what is easy to sell.

The lacklustre and cluster-fuck of COVID-19 response, in combination of the backfiring backdrop to everything in connection to the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement. The whole thing is just showing how they didn’t plan for any of the consequences or realities of post EU Membership. The lack of the Common Market or Free Movement to Europe is costing more than the appeal of the sovereign fisheries in and around the English Channel.

We following from a far isn’t shocked that he failed. He was a scrupulous populist and elitist who is only interested in himself. This man doesn’t care about governing or actually deliver sound policies. No, he would knife someone and blame the knife. That is the sort of man Boris is. The ones that is shocked that things are not working. You didn’t follow class or see what sort of character Johnson really was. He was a walking dumpster fire and someone he was able jade so many people along the way.

Johnson stint as a PM makes everyone think that anyone else could do this. This sort of public disgrace, who can use lobbyist to pay for vacations, refurbish his own home and use millions on a press conference room, which nobody uses. That is the sort of fella he is. Just like his not loyal to woman, he is never loyal to ideals or policies either. They change after what benefit him the most and gives him bang-for-bucks. He is ready to play and will easily use his pecker, if there is a shot with a mistress. That is what Boris is known for and it’s strange it had to go this long before people started to write letters to the 1922 Committee.

The PM is lucky to have been in power for this long. That he didn’t get into more fire for Dominic’s Law or all the unnecessary deceased elderly, because of lacking response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This man have survived so many scandals and still been able to continue like no tomorrow.

The sleaze in the Tories government and Conservative Party is clearly to much. While that isn’t shocking, as there is no middle-ground or belief in ethics. Everyone knows they can do whatever and there is no consequences. That’s why Hancock as a minister could pay the in-law of his mistress and give government tenders to his company. While he didn’t fall for that, but a video of his making-out session with the mistress. This is just how smooth operator of Boris is running his government and hoping nothing will stick.

I am just shocked it went this far… and not sooner. Suddenly, some of the MPs cares and that must be, because they are worried of their own reputation and connection to the toxic government they are part of. The Tories are suddenly seeing the ego and the problematic side of Johnson. That was envisioned by plenty of people, but they rather have power…

It is a bit late to the party and it’s very petty. The Prime Minister should be careful now, but don’t expect it. He rather play with fire and hope he doesn’t get burned. That’s how he has navigated with everything else before. So, don’t expect him to act sincere or be genuine. Peace.

Opinion: Manchester United needs to axe Solskjær

At this point of time the Manchester United Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær, the former caretaker and later hired manager for full-time since 2018. There was at one point of time looking like there was progress and more of a structure in the play. However, those days are now gone.

The United team has been in tatters all of October and November 2021. There only been one victory over Tottenham. The rest have been tragic and humiliating results, which is starting to pile-up on him. After twelve rounds in the league he has 5 losses and 5 victories. That isn’t a sign of strength, but of serious weakness.

OGS after last season was supposed to continue the path of building a strong team. Solskjær was getting new recruits in defence, midfield and attack, which all could boost the team significantly. As a manager with the new signings of Varane, Ronaldo and Sancho. He should have the system and momentum on his side. However, that isn’t evident.

The results are stinking. They are aggravating and the loss to Young Boys seems like a pattern now. OGS should make it look like he has control, but that isn’t how it looks. Instead, it seems like his losing the players and they are talking about their grievances to the press. That shouldn’t happen and with huge egos. The manager needs to show character and a plan forward.

Solskjær seems to be lost. Just like the team is often on the pitch now. He got talented and skilled players, but he doesn’t seem to get them into either a formation or philosophy to win. At United that shouldn’t be the case. He could partly get away with this at Cardiff. The short stint it was in Wales. However, this is just prolonging the agony for everyone now.

OGS should see the writing on the wall. The former team legend and player under Sir Alex Ferguson is now on borrowed time. The Glazers will only save his behind, if their investment is still cashing in. When the buck stops, they will axe him too. At this point in time and with Woodward in control for now. He might survive another day, but he cannot fail much more.

This manager have humiliated the team at City, Liverpool and now Watford. OGS let Watford walk all over the team and mock them. Losing 4-1 away to Watford is a disgraceful thing to do as a United Manager. Yes, the team is at fault, but the manager is the first to blame. He is the man who decides and makes the selection of players. It is his tactics and the manifestation on the pitch isn’t there.

Solskjær seems to fail at this and isn’t able to rise above this crisis. The team was boosted and gotten new manpower. However, that isn’t reflected in the results and instead its getting worse. The manager should have gotten more steady defensively with Varane and the midfield should be more inspiring with Sancho. Nevertheless, OGS haven’t utilised this or other acquisitions in his time. Just like Van Der Beek have been lingering on the bench. While Fred and others have been stinking up the place.

It is a reason why the team is lacking and the manager isn’t able to revitalize the squad. The manager doesn’t have the character or finesse to push them. He is to meek or soft to push these stars into action. In the season 2019/20 he came third in the league and last year came 2nd placed. Now, his trailing in 7th place and several points behind the big teams in top four. His soon at the levels of which he became the caretaker in 2018/19. That says it all about his failure to progress the team.

OGS should have stabilized the team and ensure some sort of winning points formula. He has already two seasons behind him. The man should have shown it, but at this moment it is like he cannot grasp what is ahead of him. The sort of steady losses only ensure his possible demise. Nobody will blame the board or the club to sack him now. It would be risky to be another season outside of Champions League. Especially, after getting such huge names and big signings ahead of the season.

Solskjær will not a be a well sought out manager after this either. He was lucky enough to get hired and have these years as a manager in Manchester United. OGS got it because of his legacy and former player at the club. He didn’t get it on merit or acclaimed managerial resume. No, he got it because of his long-foot at the Champions League final many years ago.

OGS is lucky this lasted this long. That he was able to pull of the last two seasons and the caretaker period. That he was able to do that is more than enough. It is just painful to follow him now. Just like it was the months when he was in the dugout at Cardiff. To be blunt, it is even worse now. Because, there he had nothing to loose, but at United he destroys his whole credibility.

Solskjær is lucky if he survives this loss against Watford. He knows that too. There is little to give now and he needed results to keep the job. Now it is just a matter of who takes over and this terrible display cannot continue. There is no saving grace here. Peace.

Angela Rayner MP letter to Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards Kathryn Stone – On lacking of declarations of PM Johnsons’s vacation to Spain (04.11.2021)

Opinion: Become an MP and the Tories will save you…

“Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng has told Sky News that he does not “feel shame at all” and the vote was about “getting a system of fairness” after the vote to protect Conservative MP Owen Paterson from suspension for “repeatedly” breaching lobbying rules” (Sky News Breaking, 04.11.2021).

The Conservative Party is willing to rewrite and amend bills for their own kind. They are clearly willing to undermine the accountability and the efforts to corrupt Members of Parliament. As they yesterday saved one of their Owen Paterson. The MP can clearly embezzle funds and be reckless in office, while common folk be punished for stealing a can of beer.

There is now an acceptance, that if your ordained or anointed by the high powers. You can be guilty, be sanctioned and get punitive actions. However, these will not stand or be in effect, as the other majority MPs will salvage you hurt. They will save you from punishment. It doesn’t matter sort of crime or levels of corruption. No, if your one of them and an MP. Your place is solid, and you can run away from emptying the coffers of a bank. That is what is at stake and offered to the high-ranking gentlemen of Parliament.

We now know that the Tories doesn’t mind have greedy guts and people shuffling money under the table to secure favourable legislation or agreements. As these MPs are the regulators and the ones securing the marketplace for any sort of business. It will be beneficial to lobby and pay a handsome sum of cash to one of them. Maybe even more… just to have a majority and secure the rules and regulations are all made to fit the business model of current time or adjust it a little. Just to make it a little more profitable.

The Tories have practically changed the rulebook for themselves. They have given new instructions to the referee after the player was sent out of the pitch after a red card. Instead of the man taking the punishment. The Tories revised the rules and allowed the player to play on. That is what the Tories have done yesterday and it’s a disgrace.

The punishment itself was a softie. It was a 30-day suspension and for someone who is earning fortunes on lobbying. This would just be a knock on the wrist. Not like this man would feel it and he could be on a beach in Bahamas or British Virgin Islands for that matter. However, they needed to revise the rulebook to fit to his actions.

The MPs aren’t that wise for doing this. Because, why should the commoner and the civilian follow laws? When their representatives are corrupt hacks? Why should the citizens care about rules and regulations? When the only they need to do is to become an MP to get away jail free card. That is what is offered here and it’s evident too.

Why should the people care about rules and laws, when the legislators don’t? When the MPs are signing them off and letting themselves of the hook? That is how things look like now and the Tories are group of corrupt individuals who shields their own.

A civilian and a citizen would never be able to do this. The citizen would either be fined, get punitive actions or be indicted by the authorities. There would be no change in legislation or rules to save the commoner. The person in question would feel the blunt force of the state and righteously so.

Therefore, the Tories rather want to be perceived as a corrupt group of crooks who defends their own like a gang or a mob. There is no difference between them and a den of thieves. The only difference is the dapper titles and the fancy suits. The rest is all the same and the blimey excuses too. Peace.

Opinion: Solskjær is under fire

Every goal disappoints you to concede. If some team outplays you that’s fine – that’s well done to them. But today the first one we gifted, the second one is a set-play that we should do better. We don’t really get our heads on it, and the blocks. Third one, it’s 10 seconds after we equalised. It shouldn’t happen. It’s just one of those things: deal with it. It’s a long ball from Jonny and we should just deal with it. Then the last goal is a set-play again, which is disappointing. It’s concentration, focus, every time you concede a goal” (Ole Gunnar Solskjær after 2-4 defeat to Leicester on the 16th October 2021).

The Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær is in real trouble. He has been managing the Red Devils for over 2 and half years. Last year he was so close to titles, but became second in both of those races. In the Premier League and losing to Villareal in the Euro League Finale. So, this season has to prove further progression to secure his role.

However, the last month has been an giant issue. OGS haven’t delivered and seemingly gotten rotten results. The season started splendid with good victories and a mediocre match at Southampton. Nevertheless, since Mid-September the results haven’t been any good. The club is currently with 14 points after 8 matches and if the club had won every match they would have 24 points. Not that you expect the club to win every match in the Premier League and be the invisible. But… you do expect to get close with United, as they are automatically a title contender. If they are not title contenders. OGS and United should always aspire at that. That is expected for them.

Yes, before Ole became the manager there been a long run of seasons of mediocrity. The team wasn’t filled with huge talents and had a plan. There was several of managers picking their players and some youngsters from the academy.. While that made the team fragile and didn’t have the amount of creativity, strong defence or even a 20 goals a season striker.

OGS have gotten several of world-class players. His transfer-kitty have been extensive and given him a lot. That’s why you should expect more than just clinging on to a Champions League spot. The club will most likely be in the range of 3-4th this season. As the results of late is soon sending them to far to reach the title of the Premier League. It is just 5 points up to Liverpool, but this early in the season is worrying. Especially, if this club is supposed to be progressing.

The club should be in a better place. It has Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Varane, Edison Cavani, Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes and that’s players who should make them a big team. Yes, a team with such players can have lackluster and bonkers matches. However, 1 victory in the 5 latests matches isn’t what you expect of United. No, they are supposed to be on the tail of bigger teams. This team isn’t supposed to fail in Switzerland and look like the B-Team of Young Boys. No, that’s not supposed to happen, but that happen this season.

On the 19th September was the last victory in Premier League. Yes, United finally won in the Champions League group over Villareal. Since then the team has lost against Aston Villa away, a tie against Everton at home and destroyed away at Leicester today. This isn’t the supposed moving forward is looking like. Especially not when the manager has gotten such player into his team. There should be some sort of move, tactics and ability to use his squad to assemble victories.

Yes, we do know that Ole has been critical about the amount of matches and how it get players injured. That’s why he couldn’t have several of players playing on the team today. Nevertheless, a manager is supposed to sort it out and have other players to squad to cover the others. If not, the team is needs solid tactics. The manager needs to fix that and show his ability to deliver results. Even when his stars are off the pitch. That doesn’t seem possible with Ole. Not that this point at least.

People are even questioning if the players are following a certain philosophy or strategy. Maybe, Ole has been saved by the general star-power. That the team has certain individuals who can change the matches on their own. OGS knows this, but who has seen significant style or playing style in the last two years?

People are questioning that… and it’s natural after this long time without a victory in the league. While the results earlier in the season should be proof that there was something on the way. Now, people are naturally questioning it all.

OGS should show it and prove that he can carry this weight. He is not in “transition” anymore. That train is sort of over. He has had over 2 years to build and the results should start to come now. The instability and uncertainty should be over. However, that is never ending.

Ole is asked to be sacked by plenty of people now. That’s natural even if the place in the League isn’t all out of order and it’s still easy to get into top 4. However, that was Wenger’s plan for Arsenal and was mocked years ago by United fans and everyone else. Especially now that United club has invested and gotten new players ahead of this season. You would thinks was looking more rosy. However, they are not and now everything is point at the manager.

OGS needs results and quickly. He needs to prove the early start of the season wasn’t fluke. The good results of 4 and 5 goals and not really concede a lot goals. Now, that is backfiring and the team isn’t delivering.

After all this time and transfer windows… shouldn’t this project look better and show signs of progress?

Yes, a team and squads have periods and dip of form. That is natural, but the team shouldn’t make it look so dire as today. The choices of the manager should be questioned. The recent results aren’t just speculation, but adding pressure. Right now OGS cannot go much longer without delivering. He needs a lot of victories in a row. That’s what he needs and what United needs as well. Especially, if the club isn’t planning to fall behind the top 4, which could easily happen if this continues.

Ronaldo cannot play all matches, neither can anyone else. That’s why he needs a steady rotation and have a back-up plan. That doesn’t seem viable today and maybe that’s not on the program tomorrow. However, that is needed quickly and he needs to prove he has this. People shouldn’t be able to question him and his style of play. That should be instilled into the players and be visible to the crowds, which isn’t happening now.

Ole do you want this job or are you clueless these days? What is happening? Or was the stint at Cardiff a warning of what is ahead for United? Peace.

Opinion: [Ashley finally gone] Will the Saudi’s now spend like crazy on Newcastle United?

I was being offered the chance to own one of the jewels, one of the diamonds of the Premier League. There was no hesitation”Mike Ashley (May 2007).

The historical and proud club of Newcastle United go as far back as 1892. This Football Club wasn’t launched in day and has been the pride of the city in North. The Geordie calls this club ‘the Toon’ which is their way of pronouncing town.

The club have been based on St. James Park since 1895. They have won 4 titles as champions in First Division/Premier League and 6 FA Cup titles. We can state that three of First Division titles was taken early in century, as the titles was won in 1905, 1907 and 1908. That last title was in 1927. After that they won the FA Cup 3 times in the 1950s and the last golden era was in 1990s.

In the 1990s they we’re the runners up twice in the Premier League in 1996 and 1997. When the club got the all-time goal-scorer and striker Alan Shearer. So, its been a few years since they had a strike and been a top team in the league.

During Mike Ashley’s ownership the club haven’t amazed with great results. It had one top six position in 2011/12 season. Since then it has been mediocrity and some seasons in the Championship after relegations. They have been two seasons in the Championship in this period. Still, the owner haven’t invested or done anything significant with the squad. Neither, has he tried or had the ability to hire unique managers. The only lucky pick was Rafael Benitez who had won titles elsewhere, but delivered same mediocrity as everyone else. However, he got legend status doing so. While others like Steve Bruce has gotten a handful for doing the same. Not like the owner has given he funds or transfer-kitty to actually get well talented players to St. James Park.

Now, the Saudi Arabian investment fund is coming in and will own a huge portion of the club. The Kingdom will have associates and stakes directly involved. That is not with a coincidence. The Saudi Consortium led by Public Investment Fund (PIF) will give amass power to the King and his associates. They are buying goodwill and easy ways of getting good press. The King just needs to get a few major players and results. Everything will be golden from there.

The Toon might sound different and will act with swift action in the next transfer window. Not be shocked if a new Football Director and other high ranking officials will come from the Saudi Consortium. That usually comes with the deal. Not that the PIF only sits in the Board of Directors of the Club. No, they are owners and they will act upon it. Especially after spending a fortune for this diamond.

Mike Ashley paid £135m for the club in 2007 and in 2021 his selling for £300m. The former owner has earned a fortune selling it. A club he never really invested in, except for buying it. The club didn’t excel or make any significant titles. There were never really trying, except for the one season with Alan Pardew. The rest have been abysmal.

The Saudis might make changes to that. They might bring to the table what has happened in Chelsea or Manchester City. This is to bring money-ball to Newcastle. The supporters are already happy to get rid of Ashley, but now they have to deal with the Saudi’s. We have to see if that is happy marriage. If not with that sort of price. You can expect a bloody divorce. Peace.

Brexit: Boris Johnson is the inept populist

Some people who have been writing to me maybe worried about this, but I’m not worried about this because, actually, I think it will be good for their businesses to invest in people” – Prime Minister Boris Johnson (05.10.2021)

In these troubling times it is evident that Tories leader and Prime Minister Boris Johnson is just a loudmouth and a populist. Who happens to run an inept and incompetent government. Nothing is ever prepared and the faults are always someone else. There is rage and bitterness.

Heck, the government have gotten all the warnings, by not only “project fear” but also the “Operation Yellowhammer”. In combination with industries already screaming out of possible troubles ahead and lacking preparations for the new procedures. The state has still pushed the message of a “oven-ready” Brexit. Said it would all be a prosperous time and when you enter the cabinet. Suddenly magical “Narnia” would appear in-front of your eyes and you would be sovereign in adventure land.

However, that notion and dream is shattered. By rotten fish, empty tanks and empty shelves. The Tories cannot even fix a major VISA programme for the HGV drivers. Boris Johnson says the problem will fix itself. Just like the burning of pigs, because there isn’t enough qualified people to slaughter them.

There is just an endless mess. Populist politicians have either become stranded in their cars searching for petrol. If not gotten their car damaged in a round-about too. There is just such mirages of daily events happening to the voices of this mess too. However, they will claim this is happening for another reason.

The UK have spats over fishing rights France. The Jersey Islands in the Channel might loose their electric. While the prices and inflation is souring. The government and the PM is down-playing it all, saying it is the global market and such which is the reason. However, it is not like there is shortages of goods across Europe. Yes, not a massive of amount of HGV drivers, but they are not returning to the UK either from Europe.

Boris Johnson is all hubris. He can lie and play around. Make funny videos of eating British food and toying around the issues of the day. Still, this doesn’t solve the lack of petrol in Bristol, Birmingham or Stockport for that matter. The soldier participating in doing is only patching the hurt, as thousands of drivers are missing.

The PM have forgotten a key detail to a reform change. To know the results and the aftermath of the actual reform. Secondly, to actually consider the reactions and causes it may have. In such a way that the government and departments are prepared and has methods to fix up-coming issues. The bureaucracy have even trained and simulated the possible outcomes. This is done so they are mentally and strategically ready for whatever come out of the reform. That will all be dropped in white-paper and be discussed in Parliament. Therefore, the House of Commons and Lords can discuss the ramifications and possible modifications ahead of it all.

That is how to prepare for things. The “oven-ready” withdrawal agreement was just another lie. Boris Johnson didn’t prepare anyone. Neither did he take any of the warnings and even with the worst case scenario of “Operation Yellowhammer” is happening so everyone can see. That must be humiliating, but he will not humble himself in this defeat. He hopes like all other scandals… that this will just go away and people forget it. This is why Johnson can be so nonchalant, because it has no costs to him.

Yes, there is an outcry and people are suffering in various of ways. There is talks of rations of various of goods, produce and petrol. As long as the standstill and lack of progress in logistics or haulage is there. Brexit has clearly shown that the Empire is over and they cannot even fix the basics.

They have voted for a pompous populist who isn’t serving the public. He prefers empty slogans and publicity stunts. What he will not do is to actually work and secure the citizens what they need. This is happening because of arrogance and lack of understanding to the “third country” paradigm with leaving the European Union. Also, not to forget how the government and authorities of Calais did the HGV drivers dirty last Christmas.

The PM and his people thinks people forget that quickly. Now people are seeing the results of the reform or the referendum. They have been lied to all along and promised a fairytale. Instead it is ending in tragic nightmare created by Whitehall and Downing Street. Now the people have to live in it and the PM is downplaying it. The same does the whole party and they are just saying: “it will be fixed eventually”.

However, eventually doesn’t help the man trying to get to the office. Neither does it help the ambulance or any other civil service member who needs a vehicle in their job. They need the petrol and need it to be able to function in their “duty”. Therefore, the PM is negligent of his job and not doing what he supposed to do. This is just tragic and reckless. Peace.

Brexit: The British renaissance of shortages has begun

The long bad dream of our EU membership is over. The British renaissance has begun” – Lord Frost:

In 2019 and before the referendum in 2016 the Tories promised everything to run smooth. Heck, they said everything would be better than how things were. The Tories said they would prosper and get better deals. The trading would go smoothly and the red-tape would go missing. The bureaucrats of Brussels would loose their power and London would control all aspects. However, the Brexit has trashed this.

The process and the manner of which the Withdrawal Agreement was put forward in combination of the snap election in the middle of it. The Tories mashed things up and the ones looking back can see that the Tories did some real shoddy work. The Department for Exiting the European Union (DEXEU) and it’s ministers. The negotiations and the way it all transpired we all could foresee the end-game.

The Tories however continued to promise a smooth and operational change. Now that Brexit Day has arrived and the Kingdom has prospered since. We are as outsiders are seeing the results. The remainers and “project fear” was right. They knew this could happen. So many industries have been touched, importers struggles, financial institutions has moved Ireland and others has too. Not been much news of investments or industrial prosperity since Brexit days.

We are seeing pictures and hearing how the Supermarkets lacks produce and products. Petrol stations are without petrol. The UK lacks HGV drivers. Fish and Seafood is rotting in the ports. Fisheries have been closed for the fishermen and vessels cannot go outside out the territory to fish like before in EU territory. The Tories have failed people, again and again.

The Tories are only offering temporary relief and clearly not fixing the major issues. They will continue to sloganeer. The various industries will hopefully drop papers on their misgivings and troubles, which is caused by Brexit. Where they show the losses and costs of operations due to the Brexit.

We all know that and that’s part of the process. The Tories should shield the responsibility and be accountable. As they ushered it in and thrived on it. For years they have built the Brexiteers and their inept ministers. The state was clearly not prepared or had it’s ducks in order. That why all aspects been so painful.

Boris Johnson and his ministers cannot run away from this. Even though they are trying to dismiss or act like its something else that caused this. They know the warning signs and they went ahead anyway. Now the living in the UK have to live with the consequences. That’s why Lord Frost is selling petrol shortages as renaissance, which is staggering. Maybe he should have negotiated better terms, but that’s to much to ask in hindsight. Lord Frost can always point back at the times of Michael Gove who got stripped as the negotiator and got another role in the government.

The UK can expect higher prices, lack of things since the supply-chain is constrained and there is no end in sight for this. It is not like this will turn better now. Brexit is a shambles and the ones who was in-charges was clearly incompetent. If they had any sort of idea or foresight they would have tried harder, but in 2019 the Tories promised an “Oven-Ready” Brexit.

The oven-ready is as rotten as the fish in the ports, which never got sold as anticipated. The meal was prepared, but no one to eat it. Let behind in storage and the logistics couldn’t handle it either. That is the metaphor of the failure. Just like the bus could have been mocked. The Tories needs guidance and change their approach. However, they have to live this one out, because they invested so much into it. Their political careers will be forever marked by this. For many this is making daily hectic and they wouldn’t care about these career politicians.

What we do know is that the army cannot save this and who knew soldiers have to possibly save Christmas. Instead of preparing for possible peacekeeping operations or keeping the territory safe from invaders. No, the army has to secure you have petrol to get to work. That’s the British Renaissance Lord Frost is delivering to you. Peace.

Opinion: A little lesson in pre-colonial history of Algeria [and that’s all thanks to the French disgrace of Mr. Macron]

Was there an Algerian nation before the French colonization? That is the question. There were previous colonizations. I am fascinated to see Turkey’s ability to make people totally forget the role it played in Algeria and the domination it exercised. And to explain that we are the only colonizers, it’s great. Algerians believe in it.” – President Emmanuel Macron

The French President Macron have again showed the world the arrogance of the French. The President should clearly go back to the school bench and learn something from history. Since, he shows the ignorance and arrogance of the Paris elite.

Macron is married to a teacher, but it seems like she has given other types of bed-time stories. The President should know about the Maghrib and the Berber dynasties. However, he thinks all history starts when the French occupies a territory. Not like the Algerian or the North African could have made states or even a viable nation.

The Almoravid movement made it possible to conquer areas from as far east as Algiers, today’s Morocco and up to the Ebro River of Spain. That was done by the time of 1106. After that the Almohads took control of Morocco by 1146 and continued by capturing Algiers around 1151. The Almohads had completed the conquest of central Maghrib. After 1999, the Zayanids founded a dynasty at Tlemcen in Algeria, which they controlled the Maghrib for 300 years and made the Tlemcen the “pearl of the Maghrib”.

This is just to name a few and shows there been people doing vital things in Algeria long before the French arrived and colonized Algeria. Heck, the Romans even took parts of Algeria as they occupied Tunisia and the Charthaginan state. The Punic wars waned the Romans power and the defeat of Carthage by 146 BC, which made Berber leaders influence grow in the hinterlands and with that loosely administered Berber Kingdoms that had emerged. Therefore, even back to this time there was civilization to reckon with, which wasn’t there before French arrived.

I have mentioned all of this without even mentioning military commander Khair ad Din and who became provincial governor of Maghrib in 1518, It was the Ottoman Sultan who gave him this role and Algiers became the centre of the Ottoman authority. This military commander is considered as the founder of modern Algeria. That is not a French man, but a man of their own.

The French started their blockade of Algiers in 1827, which lasted until 1830, but because of that failure. The French used that as an excuse for a military expedition, which later tuned into more expansive and by 1848 the northern parts of Algeria was under the French control. The Second Republic of France declared Algiers, Oran and Constantine as “integral parts” of France.

Franz Fanon wrote in ‘The Wretched of the Earth’ (1967) on page 210 he wrote:

Colonialism is not satisfied merely with holding a people in its grip and emptying the native’s brain of all form and content. By a kind of perverted logic, it turns to the past of the oppressed people, and distorts, disfigures, and destroys it. This work of devaluing pre-colonial history takes on a dialectical significance today” (Fanon, P: 210, 1967).

That’s what Macron is doing and it’s disgusting. He should know better, but maybe French arrogance is this way. Algeria has a rich history before the French colonized it. The French was brutal, killing Algerians and Berbers. The French had a bloody war to stop them from getting independence. Secondly, the French didn’t serve or help Algeria during the famine of 1930s neither. So, the French civilization isn’t that great, unless it unleash death outside of it’s own soil.

Macron should pick up a book and get some knowledge about the previous colonies before he opens up his mouth. Unless, he wants to be neo-colonial brat from the Paris elite. Who doesn’t value the pre-history of Françafrique countries. The French President is clearly not caring or valuing this. He still has the overlord mentality. It is tragic, but isn’t shocking. As this man has said disgraceful things before. Peace.
