Iran: Ambassador Ravanchi letter to Secretary Gueterres (03.01.2020)

Opinion: Generals doesn’t get assassinated without consequences

When President Donald J. Trump of the United States gave the order or the thumbs up for a drone attack directed towards General Qassam Soleimani, the Top Commander of the Quad Forces of the Revolutionary Guards of Iran. Therefore, the direct attack on Friday, the strike, which sealed the fate of Soleimani is strike against the powerful in Teheran.

That Soleimani is a man who has sought influence by any means, that is true. That he has scorned many people, ensured their demise and killed. That he has done as covert-mission, spying and direct planning with Americans and other allies to destroy ISIS and others. To ensure more stronger allies of Iran in the Middle East.

Still, the assassination, the murder of Soleimani is a watershed movement. Not because the American Congress wasn’t informed, but random people at Miami Mar-A-Lago was. They knew more than the ones supposed to give “go” sign to it. Plus, the international laws of warfare and thus, the potential incriminating act of violations of such. Also, shows what dire straits that is ahead.

As there are more drone attacks in Iraq. There seemingly hunting season for the Americans there, as they target all things associated with Iranians. While, there is reports of giant marine ship deploying for Iraq as well. Clearly, the United States is escalating everything. While trying to say the killings of a General wasn’t escalating, but a deterrent.

Secretary of State Michael Pompeo and President Trump is for the first time really seeing the effects of their warmongering. They have ordered bombing in Somalia over the years, in an insane rate. The US has bombed targets in Syria, but to no relief. The US strategic friendships and allies within Syria has dwindled, as the Kurds was sacrificed a few months ago. Because, Trump fiercely gave way to Turkish President Erdogan and let him attack the Kurds. Therefore, not like he has gotten many to play with either.

As, he again breaks more protocol, no diplomacy, just drops a drone attack on one of the most powerful men of Teheran. One of the men with huge influence, one who has the ability to get people in line and get operations secured on behalf of the Iranian regime. That is the man that Trump got rid-off.

Still, the facts remain, the situation in Iraq doesn’t get better by this. Neither, does the continues drone-strikes and the possible deployment of more troops. As well, as reports of various possible targets and use of proxies in region from Iran. They have said they would avenge Soleimani. Who blame them?

Would the US have forgiven and let bygones, be bygones, if one of their most powerful and prestigious generals killed. I wouldn’t think so, they would retaliate with biblical proportions and leave no one left unpunished.

That is why the decision to take the General out, seems unplanned and not considered the implications of doing so. It seems like the U.S. is pulling the strings in the aftermath and trying to use their intelligence and do more snap actions. However, it doesn’t seem like they have a plan nor a vision. Other, than blasting more people in Iraq, which they have done for several of decades and hope to get away with in this one too.

The Iranians are naturally hurt, they are naturally feeling beaten and also scorned by this. To think otherwise is naive. Not that all Iranians would love the General, but neither does every American respect the Donald either.

In this instance, it seems it would be better seeing the General breathing. Not because his was a good man, but let mother nature do its own cause. Might have secured another stage and other possible avenues. Instead of these war-games, where the civilians, where the war-torn Iraq get even more scars and the region get even battles on its shores. All supported with the mighty American military complex and vicious cycle of destruction continues. While the dirt and soil turns red, even the moon gets the taste of blood.

That because, one President thought he would be a wise, thought he did something heroic, but instead he unleashed a beast he doesn’t control. He will possibly make Iraq and Iran suffer, because he could and let the poorest Americans draft to war-zone, where they have heart for or care. Other than its better to be in the army, than poor in Indiana. However, that doesn’t save the day and neither did the demise of Soleimani.

We are living with the ramifications of it right now. The new tenseness and uncertainty, as the there will most likely be more hurt. It will be more destruction and more death. While the entitled, the wealthy and the ones in power, never will see the damage they do. As the war-games, the casualties and the ones fleeing doesn’t hit close to home. The United States didn’t do this in self defence. They did this because they could. No one should deny that. Not like this was Pearl Harbour or anything. Not even damn close.

Whatever, the U.S. did, they didn’t do no good. They only causing more harm and more issues to handle. The have open a can of worms and they cannot close it, since they destroyed the lid. Peace.

Zimbabwe: ED wants the citizen’s to go vegetarian…

You should eat vegetables, they are recommended by doctors. Doctors want you to eat vegetables so that you stay healthy. Meat is not good at all. We have differed there; I listen to doctors, so I eat vegetables. They said vitamins are found in vegetables and potatoes. You see. I was advised that there are seven basic commodities which should not be scarce. We are going to make sure that these are found at affordable prices for our people. We are working on that, be patient. These things are being rolled out, we have the money to do that” – President Emmerson D. Mnangagwa on the 3rd January 2020

There are usually signs that your running a successful enterprise, when you have the options to choose and can even save something for a rainy day. However, that is not the case in Zimbabwe. Where the authorities are acting like everything is dandy, as they got the hand on the steering-wheel, while it looks it is rolling off a cliff.

The economic desperation comes hard with this one. That a President tells the crowds around him, as the citizen cannot afford meat. That they should continue to just eat vegetables. It is a reason why the state got subsidize Maize Roller Meals and other initiatives to try to get things to the public. As the citizens cannot afford the basics nor the needed consumer products. Food gets to costly and their options getting smaller.

That is why suddenly the President wants to sound like a Public Health Advisor or an Nutrition Worker. He is the man, who explains the values of roots, greens and whatever that grows from the soil. That these plants and vegetables are having nutritions values, which the body needs. This isn’t the sounds and whispering words of a President, but of someone who tells someone who has a deficiency or visiting the doctor because of fatigue.

So, Mr. President: “what’s up doc?”

What is the cure is it veganism and become vegetarian, leave all meat behind and also try to get fish. However, shouldn’t you ensure that people get protein and such too? There isn’t an substitute for that, not even with beans and lentils. So, when he says eat vegetables, his knowingly giving the public some deficiency and lack of other vital nutritions supplements in the diet, which meat has.

Nevertheless, ED and ZANU-PF will never say this, because they know they are loosing. The President should know how embarrassing this is and the sign it sets. This is not a sign of development or control. What it is signifying is a failing economy, a fragile agricultural output and lack of currency to export needed things. That is why meat becomes to expensive for the public. Plus the inflation and lack of rising salaries, make all commodities to expensive to the public too. Therefore, it is bad governing and the public is paying the price, as they cannot afford it any-more.

Mnangagwa, who are you to say these things? Veganism and vegetarians is that the new sloganeering of the government? Is that the thing of ZANU-PF for 2020?

If so, your failing and is abysmal at your job. If you don’t know that, now you know. Please, do quit your day job, Mr. President, your bad at it. Peace.

Opinion: Leaks shows the extensive cooperation between Cambridge Analytica and Kenyatta

It is for many common knowledge that the Strategic Communications Laboratories (SCL) Elections and Cambridge Analytica (CA) involvement in the two elections in 2017. They were direct partners and the guys behind the scene for the incumbent and the Jubilee Party. These was all doing work to secure the President Uhuru Kenyatta second term.

There been plenty of speculation and the inner-works of the Cambridge Analytica team in Kenya together with SCL Elections. What Hindsight 2020 leaks are showing is the behind scenes operations of CA and SCL in regards to Kenyatta. It doesn’t show what they really did, nor the data-sets, what they collected or if they were in cahoots with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), which has been reported and speculated about. Since, the IEBC wouldn’t open their servers nor their tallies from the elections. Therefore, even in 2020 we cannot know what is there or if the IP-Address or direct connection with the CA.

Isaac Ndung’u or Isaac Kanino from Kanino Global limited who on behalf of Kenyatta and the Jubilee mailed the CA. What more the leaks shows is that SCL was already one the making the brand and the foundation for TNA/Jubilee in 2013 and their continued work with Kenyatta and Jubilee was an extension of what it had done in the past.

They made extensive plans and had a whole idea of what they were going to do. Not only a little survey, but a major one. Ensure they audit the whole party, their messages, their communications and even their speeches. That means, SCL/CA was the party within the party and the organizer hired to run a party and what is perceived by. As well, as ensuring the messages it spreads got into the media and understood by the public.

The SCL/CA even offered directly a Communication Team by monthly fees of $55,000 per month. What this shows still what intent and what services the SCL/CA did for Jubilee. As they were outsiders, whose known for collecting information from social media and make analysis for political parties. Surely, they would do the same data crunch for Kenyatta and Jubilee. Even if they don’t mention this in any of the documents, they still tried to sell the holistic campaign package. Which means, they wanted to run the whole thing, especially if the Kenyans paid and the SCL/CA in the leaked mails and documents shows that Jubilee was one of the biggest contracts.

That means the Jubilee and Kenyatta really used the services to an extent we cannot grasp. Even with these sort of leaks. But we don’t have the payouts from Jubilee nor the Government. Neither, do we have the MoU, the NDAs and Contract itself. However, we do know they did business and SCL/CA was proud of it. That says it all. As we know by what happen over the years, what the contractors was doing elsewhere and why shouldn’t they do that in Kenya too?

To think otherwise is naive. We miss still a few dots, but every little inkling shows what they did and what they offered. Now, we just need more of their print, their stamp and approved works. Than, we can say how deep these companies was involved in the Jubilee and with Kenyatta’s campaign. We are damn sure the Kenyans paid them a handsome sum of cash and surely operational fees. But, then we know, that Kenyatta and his team didn’t use their wit, but used technical and data collected from others to actually create his messages and run his campaign. He couldn’t even bother trying to do it on his own or with his advisers. That is weak tea. Peace.

The Long Walk to False Liberation: “Africa Kwetu” by President Museveni

President Yoweri Museveni’s trek code-named “Africa Kwetu” through the seven districts of Wakiso, Nakaseke, Mityana, Kiboga, Kasandha, Mubende and Kakumiro has been brought forward to January, 4th 2020. The trek is scheduled for six days and is meant to retrace routes used by the NRA fighters during the liberation struggle” (NBS Television, 01.02.2020).

Well, it is a long time ago when President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni took power. He took it and never left. The reality is that there was promise in this man, his words and his speeches resembled hope at one point. However, that point was a false flag, it was just an empty promise. With time he would prove that he was just like the previous masters, only more conning and willing to use all tools to stay in power.

Now, he works on his image, he tries to act as an elder statesman. Even though it is more lecturing and forged history lessons, than actually being an respected leader. If he would have joined this regarded people, who is seen as elder statesmen. He would have actually groomed someone before he had changed his own constitution to abolish term limits and age limit. You can be longer and older President, than what your allowed to as working-class, blue-collar civil servant in the state apparatus.

That is the Republic of Museveni. He wants to celebrate his legacy, his biggest victory, unleashing his National Resistance Movement and the renegades of 1980s. But they have become fat, entitled and enriching themselves on the benefit of the public. They are taking the land, the industries, the exports and the monetary wealth. While the rest is only getting the cold-leftovers. And with every election a small token of soap, a few thousands shillings and a free t-shirt if they are lucky.

That is what Museveni has brough them. If not, he changed the district they live in several of times, there been some Prime Ministers, some Vice-Presidents and even a few ministers. But, the President stands put, while everyone else comes and goes. Some NRA historicals are in the inner-circle, others are still having influence and matters locally. That is just the way it is.

So, the walk that is upcoming is more a propaganda show. It is to show how the NRA liberated the NRM, but didn’t liberate the public. Because, everyone else has to ask permission, get licences and so-on. The others has to be able and have the right connections to be able to do their thing. Not like everyone is allowed or have the ability to speak free, have the freedom to assemble and even communicate without consequences. That is because the President and his men wants everyone behind him. They cannot have rebels, even if they came out a rebellion themselves.

The walk towards “home” isn’t all that. It is a walk and a side-show, a long procession of finessing the circumstances. However, the costs and the mockery of the events will happen. As the grandeur, the display as the latest victor will happen. The undermine every single other actor in the past. Every single one who lost and who was discarded will either be dishonoured or false claims upon. That is because Museveni and his men conquered and they WON.

President Museveni might do this as a display of power, history and call it liberty. It made him free, his associates, but it didn’t free the shackles of society. It just changed the master, made a more sinister ruler, who knows the ills of the past and uses those to his advantage. He knows the remedies, he spoke of them in the past, but he has instead revamped them and used those himself. That is the sort of leader he is.

So, for him in walk of celebration of greatness, of grandeur and prestige. Is just an attempt of selling his story to the next generation. Hoping they buy into the false promise and the false prophet of 1980s. The man for the peasants, the man for the villager, but instead became the man for himself. Peace.

Sudan: West Darfur clashes displace thousands (03.01.2020)

The displaced have sought refuge in and around El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur State.

GENEVA, Switzerland, January 3, 2020 – An estimated 30,000 people have been displaced in Sudan’s West Darfur State following intercommunal clashes earlier this week in several villages, according to the Sudanese Government.

Humanitarian partners are working to verify the displacement figures. The displaced have sought refuge in and around El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur State.

There have also reportedly been attacks on camps for internally displaced people, and reports of homes being burned. Humanitarian partners are closely monitoring the situation and gathering information on needs to respond as soon as the security situation allows.

Shelter, food, water, health services and non-food items are the most urgent priorities. Local organizations, including youth groups, the Zakat Chamber and the Sudanese Red Crescent Society have already provided some food and non-food items.

The African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur has helped to relocate 32 aid workers to Zalingei, Central Darfur, amid security concerns.
