Rwanda: The Ambassador who showed sympathy to the wrong person…

Ambassador Olivier Nduhungirehe was yesterday sacked by President Paul Kagame. This was done because he was showing sympathy to the wrong person inside the Republic. He was showing sympathy to Victorie Ingabire. That is apparently not something that is feasible in the Republic.

However, while his in Office. He can be a cog in the machine, stop the negotiations with relations to Uganda. He could spark tensions in 2018 with High Ranking officials in South Africa. Could lie about food distribution in March 2020. But, show sympathy towards an opposition leader. That is clearly a cardinal sin.

Last year he could rant about the Ugandans treatment of Rwandan citizens there. That was cool, while the states was in the midst of negotiations and conducting meetings to resolve the stalemate between the nations. That was okay in 2019. Just like it was okay to say things that backfires in 2018. Clearly, he was allowed to say whatever, rant out and speak his mind. Until, he showed sympathy towards the wrong person.

So, the President and his handlers should handout a memo to his Cabinet, his MPs and everyone whose in High Ranking Officials. To clear the air. Ensure they know his mindset and his rigorous rules. Because, everyone with some sense rants a bit now and then. Maybe, not at a platform or public as the Ambassador.

Still, they might talk and show some grace towards someone, which isn’t a friend and hostile pundit of the President. If, they do, they might get fired to like him. That is why the President and his team needs to write up this. To ensure the policy and the protocol for the actions. Since, no one wants to be fired for showing some mercy and speaking positive about someone who has been treated hostile by the authorities.

Therefore, we could clearly see that the Ambassador was allowed to do a lot. HE could say a lot and act a fool. However, today in 2020 he couldn’t speak in a gentle manner about a real opposition to the President. That is a sin and that hurt the pride of the President.

If you do that, expect retaliation or retribution. Peace.

Opinion: Leadership get off the hook in the sunshine, but when it rains… it pours…

There is a reflection of our time, our day and this moment we are living in. We are seeing the true reflection of character, of values and priorities. The reflection of what counts and what is defaulting. We are seeing what counts and what falls.

There is no middle-ground in a crisis. There is golden route to the next destination in a hectic storm, a hurricane and a tornado. No, there is only a focus on how to hold on the boat, steady it and ensure your vessel get into shore. It will not be easy, this pass and the passage across the angry sea will not be without effort and hard-work. However, you got to hang in there and secure the personnel, secure the ropes and machine. Just to be sure, that you will get through and not caught in a wave. That is where we are passing right now.

We are in the midst of a storm, in the midsts of terrible winds. Where we are seeing people cast overboard, we can decide to move-on or try to save them. We can decide if we want to salvage the hurt or secure the weight of the boat. We have to count stock of the inventory and the possible timeline to the next port. So, we got enough time and food in the pantry to move along. That is where we are at.

This is not easy, especially when there is only a spoken few who is used to the sea onboard and the vessel isn’t that sturdy. This was build for the sunshine, not the rain. This boat of ours wasn’t built nor prepared with guidelines, legislation nor protocol. We have to trust the Captain, the main-deck, that their orders are good and will lead us ashore. We just have to trust and continue.

That is not easy. It will never be easy. That is why the great leaders will steer in the midst of winds and high waves. They will push through and give us hope. Even as everything seems dire, everything is grim. The fog, the wind and the waters seems more dark than ever before. Still, the Captain says the words and orders. You follow. You listen and take note. That is all you got to do. Because, you believe this man will take you there.

However, by that example. If the Captain is reckless, is beneath the office and beneath the character, which is needed. The boat will not be steady, the supply will run low and the moral will be dead. The ropes will not be taken care off and the course will be shifted. The risks are for failure even more astute. As the staff, the people are not prepared. The winds, the currents and the trust of leadership is breached. The ones onboard will fear the next turn, the next twist and the possible sinking gets there.

Because of this, the need for steady leadership is there. It is no other way out. This crisis needs that, it need the trust and understanding of the possible outcomes. An understanding of how to get away from the storm and get to port. Get ashore and be reassured along the way. Since, this sort of ride, this sort journey is hectic, nervousness and stressful. There is no short-cut, no way of turning around without getting the sea-water right in your face. That is where we are and we just got to deal with it.

Therefore, at this point of time. At this part of the journey, we will see the real leaders, we will see the Commanders among men and the ones who are followers. We will see the true ones destined to lead and the ones destined to failure. However, in this rain, we will see who gets a grip and who manoeuvrer quickly. Who has the courage and the ability to grasp the sincerity of the task at hand. That is what we will see.

The others will let the boat sink, they will let the vessel be damaged and hope someone else path up the hurt. That is not leading anything, but letting the buck stop and hoping someone else picks up the slack. That is mismanagement and destruction without taking responsibility. In reality, you see who has it and who doesn’t have it. Who can act upon the pressure and who collapse. Peace.

Opinion: The Trump administration wants another Bolivia in Venezuela…

The actions made today by the United States Department of Justice to indict President Nicolás Maduro Moro of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is a clear sign to the world. Also, that the US DOJ also issued the same sort of cases against 14 more high ranking officials of the Republic.

It is not so many months ago since the coup d’etat against the Bolivian President Evo Morales and his socialist government. This is again an assault on an independent republic in Latin America by the US government. They are really aiming harder. There is also not many months since the opposition leader and far-right Washington crony Juan Guaido participated and was a visitor at the State of the Nation in January 2020. Therefore, the actions now is showing flex towards the regime in Caracas.

Surely, the US government thinks they can get away with this and criminalizing the central government of Venezuela. They are putting big claims of drug-trafficking and other claims of illegal activity. However, the same US government propped up Guaido and has paid several of mercenaries to deal with things in the past too. Not like the US government is independent and a partial partner in the affairs here.

They want to have another far-right puppet in Latin America. Just like the enriching looting government in Bolivia now. Whose now opening up for US based companies to extract and get passes to export resources cheaply to the United States. Surely, they want the same thing done in Venezuela. Where they can get the oil reserves instead of seeing it sold to China or Russia like today. It is easy to see the game they play, because the cards are all on the table.

The Manduro isn’t saints, but the direct interference is directly disrespectful and trying to force another coup d’etat. I wonder how the United States citizens would enjoy if there was foreign forces choosing their leaders and making their representatives to puppet of Kremlin or elsewhere.

The US government wants to make Maduro into a new Morales. Put him into exile and so fourth. In our days and times. The US government isn’t even concealing their efforts, it is an open-air bazaar of actions and they using all means now.

It is not like the US has jurisdiction or can prove their allegations. This comes out of nowhere and seems like a plot from the Trump Presidency. That is why they have made love stories sweeter than the songs of Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez. This is why they target Maduro and his associates. This is how it seems.

I’m not buying the stories nor the sudden indictment from a corrupt and impartial government like the US government. They are not believable. This is done as ploy for Guaido. They want another Morales served and sentenced. That is the message.

This is the “Washington Consensus” at the moment. So, I’m not buying tickets to their shows. Peace.
