Tanzania: An Urgent Call for Intervention – The Claims of Captain Tesha on Tanzania’s National Crisis (04.10.2025)

Tanzania: Captain Tesha’s sentiments are a warning [and he risked it all by saying it]

Yes, today a viral video from Captain Charles Tesha was published on Youtube. At one point today plenty of people was claiming it was A.I. video and not a real person speaking. Later it has been verified that his part of the army and a military aviation school.

The Tanzania People’s Defence Force (JWTZ) informs the Tanzanian public that some people have emerged who are using social media to post content that encourages the involvement of the Force in political matters. In addition, some of these arguments are made by people who are in the military environment, identify themselves with the Force, who were discharged from the Force for bad behavior and conduct as well as engaging in politics and activism. In this sense, the TPF would like to inform the Tanzanian public that it continues to carry out its constitutional duties with honesty, loyalty and courage in accordance with our oath” (Jeshi la Ulinzi la Wananchi wa Tanzania (JWTZ), 04.10.2025).

So, the army has verified that he was an active member and now his discharged. That says something in itself. In addition, they are doing this to the Captain and taking away his duties. His words had some power and that’s why they did this so quickly.

You things are bad when the Captain said the nation is in danger. So, the only reasonable thing he could do was to write a letter to his superiors to express dissatisfaction with the state of the country. Further he said that the JWTZ should takeover the country, because he claimed the Tanzanians only trust the army. Another issue that he wants to block the elections since they are rigged and full of scandals. He also claims there is a “deep state” that controls the CCM. Those 5 people should be taken into custody and arrested. This is just a snippet of it and a tiny note of what he said.

When a lower ranking army commander says this. It is concerning, but also signals a deeper sentiment. People are cheering him on and happy for his message. They are saying they are behind him and support what he did. It has cost and he lost his duties. Certainly, there would possibly be more ramifications and we can only imagine if he gets arrested or charged with treason even. That’s what happens when people speak out like this.

Expect the worst. The CCM won’t relent and they cannot handle dissent kindly. No, they silence people who talks and dares to speak out. That’s why you know this Captain has a hard time ahead of him. He won’t only be dismissed, but he will tarnish his whole career. That’s the price he will pay.

We are currently seeing how the authorities are acting towards civilians, activists, opposition leaders and others. The Captain will be touched, but we don’t know how yet. Peace.

Malawi: Did Mutharika act like he haven’t been in Office before?

To all my friends in the DPP and anyone in any public office, remember this! Malawi belongs to its people. This country does not belong to any person, any tribe or any political party. Malawi does not belong to the DPP either. Malawi belongs to us all. Let us be in government to serve the people; not to serve our bellies, not to serve our families. Tisiye kuganiza kuti tikulowa m’boma kuti tidyelele. This is the attitude that is killing this country. It’s not about kudyelela. Government is not a feast. Being in Government is about serving to deliver, to change our economic situation, to create jobs, and to help everyone prosper in their businesses, farming and education. It is that feasting spirit; it is that tidyelele spirit which makes people go wild into corruption, theft, looting and destroying this country. Stop destroying this country! The honeymoon of looting government is over! You are dealing with a different President now. And you are looking at a different President. I will not allow anyone to destroy this country under my watch, and I mean anyone!” – President Arthur Peter Mutharika (04.10.2025).

Today’s inauguration speech wasn’t really all that. That the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is returning to power and has the majority. This is a victory and they did overcome the incumbent in Malawi. That’s for them a joyful occasion. No one can take that away from the Party or the incoming President. However, this isn’t Mutharika’s first rodeo or first road-trip. This is a journey he has already had and he knows the steps.

The newly minted President has been the Head of State and he had major cash-scandals, procurement issues and grand corruption cases in the years he was in office. That’s why he talks like we don’t know and don’t remember. Maybe the ageing man thinks we aren’t oblivious to that and it’s all water under the bridge. Seriously, this speech just negate what he did in the past and what sort of track record he has.

It doesn’t help that he said this in continuation…

Wisdom tells us that in order to solve a problem, you must know the problem. We must begin by accepting our situation as it is. Our immediate problem is that we have inherited a country in a crisis. Malawi is in the middle of an economic crisis.

There is no food in the country and the cost of maize is very high. Malawians cannot afford the cost of living.

There is no forex, businesses are failing and collapsing every day.

We have acute fuel shortages because there is no forex. The cost of fuel is unnecessarily high because of corruption and a badly flawed procurement system.

There is no money in government. Borrowing is extremely high— and nobody knows where the borrowed money has gone.

There is good news though. Malawi’s crisis is a man-made crisis. Our situation is not a natural tragedy beyond human capacity. Our situation is not a permanent condition. Any problem created by humans can be solved by humans. Malawi’s situation is a problem we can solve, and solve it we will. We will fix this country. But, but…. fixing this country will not be easy. This must be clear. Rebuilding this country will not be easy. It is easy to destroy what others have built, but difficult to rebuild what others have destroyed” – President Arthur Peter Mutharika (04.10.2025).

To just read this after the knowledge we have of his previous term in office. He acts like he isn’t part of it and was a reason for the troubles the Republic is in. Yes, the last few years are on Chakwera and his allies. They have depleted and haven’t made any significant strides, neither has they made policies or tried to reconfigure things. No, they just ate like there is no tomorrow. They followed the lessons of what Mutharika had showed them in the past. That’s why this is just a cycle of calling out problems. Promising to defeat corruption on the one hand, but eating of other people’s plate with the other. So, we are getting nowhere and they act like we don’t know.

Mutharika should have taken some accountability for his role, but he won’t to sound like a saviour. However, I doubt the old man has learned new tricks and have the capabilities to change. He can prove me wrong and I would be giddy for Malawi. Nevertheless, I don’t count on it. I understand people were tired of Chakwera and his prayer ceremonies, but there should be a more suitable leader than this old fella. Seriously, with what he did in the past. How can you trust him now?

I just don’t get it… but that’s just me though. This man will loot and deplete the reserves the moment he has the chance. He will enrich his buddies and fellow comrades. That’s what he does and this is who you entrusted the instruments of the state too. This man won’t bat an eye when someone he knows will benefit and get rich of a government procurement. That’s just how things goes and don’t be shocked. It is bound to happen and it’s just a matter of time. Peace.

Ethiopia: “We will ensure Ethiopia’s port ownership” – Abiy [All gloves are off!]

No one can stop us. We will ensure Ethiopia’s prosperity. We will ensure Ethiopia’s port ownership. We will ensure Ethiopia’s development. We speak to execute. We prioritize peace. We seek everything through diligence and work. All our desires will be fulfilled through the combined diligence and effort of all Ethiopians, not through begging. No country in the world will give us what we deserve willingly. It will be realized through our demand and diligence, and through our combined and planned work” – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali (03.10.2025).

This here should say it all. The landlocked nation of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) isn’t dreaming about ports or territories surrounding the red sea. No, the Head of State is saying he will execute and ensure Ethiopia’s ownership of a port.

The Prime Minister is now openly saying and stating it. If is Assab Port in Eritrea or elsewhere. The neighbours and the ones with ports has to listen. They are now targets and certainly Abiy has grudges. Heck, he want it now and he see it as the only way to develop and ensure prosperity. This is his legacy and how he wants to be remembered. A warlord who fought and captured seaside territories for the landlocked Ethiopia. The medemer terror had to take another step and cross another barrier.

We know the PP and Abiy are the ones who has the hegemony at the moment. Even though he is having troubles with internal conflicts and militias, paramilitary groups that are fighting against the state. That’s because the state has betrayed them and they can only take up arms to challenge Abiy. Since everyone knows that Abiy only consolidate powers and ensure everyone is ensnared by his every tale.

He has spoken of ports and red sea for a long time. He has created a navy and such too. So, this is all planned and he has schemes. However, it has all seemed futile, but sooner or later these words becomes a war-cry and a order of war. That is only a matter of time. Because, he said: “We speak to execute” and that says it all.

Anyone following should be worried and concerned. The Prime Minister is challenging the neighbours and telling them his plan. His not even hiding it or even coding it. Abiy is just stating it as a fact. It isn’t figment of imagination, but what he wants to do. That’s when alarm bells should be running and people should be aware.

Recognize and abide by it, because this tale is only starting and it going to get bloody. Peace.

The Story of AIP Kaggwa is a sign that the army can apprehend anyone without any justification!

That on 29th August 2025, AIP Kaggwa Augustine, a Police Officer attached to the Environmental Protection Police Force (EPF) of Uganda Police and on official duty protecting Bugoma Central Forest Reserve was kidnapped from his official duty at Wairagaza police post by a group of armed men identified as soldiers from the Masindi UPDF Military Barracks” (Kaggwa Augustine v Attorney General (Miscellaneous Cause 256 of 2025) [2025] UGHCCD 164 (2 October 2025)).

Just imagine on the 2nd October 2025 that the family of a Police Officer had to make a petition of a habeas corpus ad subjiciendum to know and see their family member again. The Police Officer in question was on duty when the soldiers kidnapped him and took him into custody. AIG Kaggwa Augustine by today on the 3rd October 2025 his been behind bars for 35 days and there no proof of the criminal conspiracy or a proper case against him.

Just imagine, a law enforcement agent, a police officer just picked up on random and he has to wait for 40 days before he is entering the premises of a court. He has no official charges or any sort of sentence on his head. There is no proof or evidence produced of criminal intent, criminal conspiracy or any sort of action, which can prove any breach of any sort of code. Still, the man has been detained and kept behind bars. That’s what the regime does and it does it to its own.

Just read this…

I have read the notice of motion and the supporting affidavit. The evidence before the court is that AIP Kaggwa Augustine is a Uganda Police officer attached to the Environmental Protection Police Force. It is alleged that on 29th August 2025, while carrying out his official duties at Wairagaza Police Station, Bugoma Central Forest Reserve, AIP Kaggwa Augustine was arrested by members of the UPDF and detained at Masindi UPDF Military Barracks. To date, AIP Kaggwa Augustine remains in detention at Masindi UPDF Military Barracks and no charges have been brought against him. I am satisfied that AIP Kaggwa Augustine has been deprived of his personal liberty contrary to Article 23 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda” (Kaggwa Augustine v Attorney General (Miscellaneous Cause 256 of 2025) [2025] UGHCCD 164 (2 October 2025)).

Just read these paragraphs from the court order and it’s compelling. The Law Enforcement Officer will be detained 40 days before he steps his foot in court. There been no proof of anything and no sort of due process. His just been detained on the whim by army commanders and whoever given orders. No reason has been said or transpired to do so.

This public document and court judgment shows what sort of sinister plots that are going on and how the state operates. It does this to its own and the ones who enforce their orders. A Police Officer can also lose its freedom and liberty without a warning. They can be taken into custody and not have any sort of justification to do so.

That should send alarm bells ringing and it tells how rotten the system is. Peace.

RDC: Avenir du Congo – Declaration de Soutien des Elus Nationaux aco au Magnifique Camarade President du Parti (02.10.2025)

A look into High Court Judgement against the UPC and Akena

“Hon. Jimmy James Michael Akena argued that prior to the expiry of his second term as UPC party president on 1st August 2025, he convened an Extra-Ordinary Delegates virtual conference on 26th July 2025 which resolved to extend his term as UPC party president by 12 months. But could UPC legally convene a delegates’ conference in contravention of the Interim Order issued by the court in Misc. Application No. 573 of 2025 on 25th July 2025? I will not attempt to answer this question at this stage of the proceedings except to observe that it is highly doubtable as to whether UPC could legally convene a delegates’ conference in contravention of the order prohibiting the convening of the virtual Extra-Ordinary UPC delegates conference on 26th July 2025” (Uganda People’s Congress and Hon. Jimmy James Michael Akena v Electoral Commission (Miscellaneous Application 824 of 2025) [2025] UGHCCD 165 (1 October 2025)).

The Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) has clearly lost out in this upcoming General Election. As the party haven’t done things correctly. That’s why we are here, and the Court Document released to the public says it all. The High Court really stated it and the UPC needs to reflect on the matter.

The actions of UPC and Akena is utterly embarrassing, and anyone can now spot the problems from within. The UPC party needs to act upon this and do some soul searching. As the party has failed and the way it operated has now been called out in the courts. When the Judge states: “I will not attempt to answer this question at this stage of the proceedings except to observe that it is highly doubtable as to whether UPC could legally convene a delegates’ conference in contravention of the order prohibiting the convening of the virtual Extra-Ordinary UPC delegates conference on 26th July 2025”. Those words should sting and shows how Akena and allies didn’t do things right and with proper due diligence. Which means they have a futile case to begin with.

As it continues:

“This court takes judicial notice of the fact that by the time this application was heard on Thursday 25th September 2025, the Electoral Commission had already concluded presidential nominations the previous day on 24th September 2025. Black’s Law Dictionary, 12th Edition, Thomson Reuters (2024) defines status quo as “the situation that currently exists.” Accordingly, the status quo is that the Electoral Commission concluded the exercise for presidential nominations for the General Elections 2025/2026 on 24th September 2025. Therefore, it is practically impossible for this court to order the Electoral Commission to nominate Hon. Jimmy James Michael Akena as a UPC presidential candidate for the General Elections 2025/2026 because the nomination exercise is already closed” (Uganda People’s Congress and Hon. Jimmy James Michael Akena v Electoral Commission (Miscellaneous Application 824 of 2025) [2025] UGHCCD 165 (1 October 2025)).

This here is another failure and shows how the UPC haven’t acted in righteousness. If it did, they wouldn’t be here and it shows a complete lack of care or concern. The UPC could have avoided this and could have acted righteously. However, they went down this path and tried to allow Akena to prolong his reign. That’s why they are here and it’s obvious.

It is all in front of our eyes and when a judge can describe the proceedings like this. You just know things are down bad. The UPC party need to re-evaluate, investigate and to look into how they got here. The leadership must carry the weight of the losses and how it played this one out. This sort of actions should have led to resignations and ending of careers within the party. Because that is what is next, but that is if anyone wants to be accountable and transparent how they failed the party. Peace.
