RDC: Declaration No. 001/2018 De La SYMOCEL Appellant a la Consience Citoyenne Pour un Processus Electoral Inclusif (30.05.2018)

You can wonder, what sort of lack of talent, integrity and trust in your own population, when you have enforce the crowds, when you have to hire and order the army, military police and the police to a district where a by-election is appearing. You just know that the ruling regime suck at electioneering and also coming with solutions, as their final nail in coffin is to send guns, ammunition and a doze of fear. Because that is the way to sway the public a day ahead of the polls.
The National Resistance Movement (NRM) have no legitimacy and not transparent activity, they only have the methods of fear and bribes, and there is no policy or no person who’s trustworthy enough to not use the military to intimidate. Because this party has to use guns and ammunition to prove a point. Not try to come with reason or common sense, now you come like an invader and ready for warfare.
You could wonder if there was an election or if the place was under siege, if the NRM and the government was awaiting unknown militias or ghosts of the LRA at Rukungiri. They have done similar things in other by-elections. So they are at it again.
This isn’t breaking news, it is not shocking, it is the only way these fellows and this party can handle affairs. They can only order and hire guns, not talk or do business in other ways. It is special that a by-elections for one MPs to a Parliament is that important, that you have to use all parts of the Security Organizations and beat the message of insecurity to these levels. That the By-Elections looks like Mogadishu, because that is favourite scenery of the President.
There is no common sense in this by-election, only that the NRM are trying to grab a whole of something by any means without any proper justification and reason. It is like they have to grab the people with fear, because they know by this point, they have no solid reason for their existence. There isn’t any progress, anything visible or viable approach for them. It is only empty suits and presidential handshakes.
That is not a good look, when your been running the republic for over three decades. That you have to send the military to install fear to sway voters. That is just sinister, but also show the lack of respect from the rulers, that they are instead of being tolerable and understanding, they are coming with the big-guns and expect submission.
By doing so, the NRM are showing they have already lost. The plot doesn’t’ thickens, it is just weak mediocre soup with very little or no meat, just boiled water on stones added some spices to funk the soup up. When everyone knows it is paper-thin and not really tasty. That is the reality in this mess. Every party knows this. However, they try to act differently.
It is not working, how weak is your message and faith in your programs, that your sending the army to get people into submission? How little policies and little benefits have you given the public over the years, which you have to send guns to get them over to your side.
It is insulting, but that is the M.O. of the NRM. They are insulting people’s intelligence and their goodwill, they are insulting the barriers of trust and accountability, they are just eating and hoping no-one cares, but apparently they do. If not, they wouldn’t need to invade the Rukungiri district ahead of the polls tomorrow. Peace.

This is a question that the Americans should ask themselves? Because, I am wondering as a foreigner, if my Kingdom doled some funds on Jared Kushner or on Ivanka Trump’s bank-accountants. Would the Foreign policy will change because of that? That is a important paradigm shift from the Trump Administration.
Other, then being supportive of horrific migration policies towards immigrants and the ones who has liven there for generations, because it is only White America who deserves to live in the United States. The rest just living their and squatting there for time being. That is the memo the White House is sending out recently.
However, are the for rent signs on the lawn in front of the White House? Are there ads on Craigslist? Or is there unknown LLC that are in connection with the White House and delegates the newly operations from the Trump Organization abroad. As the Trump Organization and Kushner Companies continues to operate more abroad, getting loans from Qatar and Saudi Arabia. If not getting dozens upon dozens of Chinese Copyrights, while trying to build Hotels and Golf Courses all around the world.
Is this how the arrangements are done now? That you shake hands, trade-off deals with foreigners to companies in connected with the Trump Royal Family and then let-off the hook of the Nation in question. So if the need the US Army, the US Trade or lifting of sanctions, that will be softer after signing of deals with Ivanka or Jared. Because the Foreigners will deliver them a few silver coins, if their sanctions are lifted or trade of state companies get a better deal with the US; Because they gave some little money to the White House Royal Family.
The royal family, which is allowed to be revised over 40 times and as they didn’t follow procedure for their forms. Still to get security clearance and all the perks of the White House. This is happening as they are still enlarging their pockets and trading away their value at the Public Office. They are really playing high stakes with the Republic.
It is like they can buy and trade policies now, the foreign interference is evident and the change of narratives comes quickly, especially if the ones in this Trump Administration gets a pay-off. If there is need in a government agency, if the lobbyist or company needs changes of policies.
Remember pay someone off, especially pay off the Trump Family and relatives, then you get the princess and the whole kingdom. They are easily giving way, as long as the profits are returned and delivered to a random company of the Trump Organization. If it is money laundering or any other operation. As long as the Trump businesses get their cut, they don’t mind, that is what they do.
The White House is for sale, a giant haul sale and the evidence is in every story published, as the days go. I wonder how much does it cost to get them colluding with the Russians? Because surely that had a initial price. Surely, cost more than a box of crisps and a trademark in China. Peace.

This should be for some a deja vu’ for others, its rewind and for some the same old story. But as long as the Tories and the Her Majesties Government, the United Kingdom have worked upon the withdrawal from the European Union, the UK has come with false prophets and false narratives. The Tories and Prime Minister Theresa May, have either been blindsided or not understood the ramifications of their will. They are departing or divorcing as you will, they will not be in the same sort of relationship after leaving the EU. That is just natural, that isn’t significant. Everyone understands that, especially when the UK want specialized rules and regulations, while picking and mixes as they please. However, there are protocols and regulations, that is how the Union works. So that all parties knows what they are getting and what boundaries the external nations, whose not members has to comply to. That is also natural. Therefore, Michal Barnier has now talked an example recently showing the perspective of the EU towards the Brexit and that should hurt the pride of the British!
“The General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR – came into force yesterday. According to the United Kingdom’s position first presented – and published – this week on data protection: ‘The United Kingdom would like its supervisor to remain on the European Data Protection Board, created by the GDPR. It wants to remain in the one-stop-shop. It believes that this is in the interest of EU businesses’. But let’s be clear: Brexit is not, and never will be, in the interest of EU businesses. And it will especially run counter to the interests of our businesses if we abandon our decision-making autonomy. This autonomy allows us to set standards for the whole of the EU, but also to see these standards being replicated around the world. This is the normative power of the Union, or what is often called “the Brussels effect.” And we cannot, and will not, share this decision-making autonomy with a third country, including a former Member State who does not want to be part of the same legal ecosystem as us” (Speech by Michel Barnier at the 28th Congress of the International Federation for European Law (FIDE), Lisbon, 26 May 2018),
That the British should worry about this, because what he is saying, is that UK will not have decision making power or have the influence that they used too. That is because the UK is not longer a member, but acting as a Third Country. All of this has been known, but the UK has acted like they can do as they pleases and act as they want. They can get their will and their dreams, they can pick out of the sky and candy-corn and unicorns will appear within White Hall. As ordered by the DUP and all the others friendly Brexiteers, who expect the world to land in their lap and praise their works.
However, that is not how the world works. Even if the UK thinks so, as they have their empire in mind and think they still rule the world. They are the ones leaving and has to comply to the set of rules, they are not able to change the body or the regulations put in place. They will be less significant and have less of influence on the matters, as they are becoming the outsider and not the insider anymore.
I know that is hard for someone to understand. That is breaching their momentum, that is shaking their world and their whole belief system. Nevertheless, the UK will have to comply as a third country, they are not insiders who has the ability to make decisions for the EU.
Brexit has consequences, they either have to comply or find other partners, they have to follow the standards or be island left alone. That is what Barnier is saying, because Brexit will feel the Brussels effect. Its been known about all along.
It is just the Tories and Theresa May who hasn’t understood the memo. Can someone teach them, before its too late? Peace.

Eh! This should get old, but alas, this will continue to be an issue as long as Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is the President. Especially, since he continues to open his mouth. He has to be addressed, because he lies and deceives the population. They shouldn’t see past and not challenge him, since he has been ruling for over three decades and has little to show. That is why he attacks others, because his own track record is eroding with time.
Look at the report today from Watchdog Uganda:
“President Yoweri Museveni said that FDC members are there to fail government projects only, citing that there is nothing that FDC can do that is developmental. He added that the opposition doesn’t reach him, that only those of NRM can. The opposition doesn’t share on the national cake. “You voted Rolland Kaginda and Fred Turyamuhwezi in Rukungiri municipality and Rujumbura counties and you’ve benefited. Do not waste your remaining chance, and the only chance is Winnie Matsiko,” Museveni said” (Watchdog Uganda – ‘‘Don’t waste your time voting FDC’, Museveni urges Rukungiri people’ 29.05.2018 link: http://watchdoguganda.com/dont-waste-your-time-voting-fdc-museveni-urges-rukungiri-people/).
So, it is special that someone whose been running the nation from 1986 are talking about wasting time. As he himself should have delivered roads, education, industrialization and modernization of the Republic. However, he has been preoccupied with enriching himself and his cronies, instead of development. That is proven.
The man with a vision, haven’t even been able to deliver his biggest promising plan, the Ten Point Program, Vision 2020 upgraded to Vision 2040, National Development Plan I and National Development Plan II and so on. There are so many unfinished plans and policies where the procurement, tenders and the financing has been questionable. There is even evidence that the Universal Primary Education is failing badly, instead of being one of the few achievements that the President could actually show to the world after three decades in power.
That is why a President like this shouldn’t talk about waste of time. He has wasted three decades in powers and has little or nothing to show for it. Unless bigger notes, giant loans and lack of accountability is wishful results to show. If a growing cabinet, making more districts and more sub-counties, and not initial organizations that is good. It is only to hire cronies and making sure there are more people hired locally too. As well as more RDCs and others who are appointed directly from the President. Therefore, a growing bureaucracy, but not showing positive effects of this. Only a higher numbers of districts, but not proving anything substantial.
President Museveni is the proof of waste of time. If he had used his time wisely, there would be infrastructure, schools and actual possible space for business, instead there are Presidential Handshakes, there are bribes and inside trading within the administration. You need favors to be able to grow your business. Especially given a hand from the State House.
He can say the FDC is waste of time, but they don’t have power in the Parliament, that is the NRM. A NRM that you, Museveni controls. Therefore, the NRM has the ability and could do things and has had the ability to do so since 1986. But still haven’t delivered anything substantial.
Mr. President, your a waste of time and the Republic sadly have to live with it. Peace.

The already serious humanitarian situation in Central African Republic (CAR) has worsened amid a spike in violence which threatens to overtake almost every area of the country, a top UN aid official said on Monday.
NEW YORK, United States of America, May 29, 2018 – One in four people has been displaced, according to Najat Rochdi, UN Humanitarian Coordinator for CAR, who said that this included areas that were formerly peaceful, such as the north and central zones.
Speaking at a press conference in Geneva, Ms. Rochdi warned that severe acute malnutrition in six administrative regions is higher than 15 per cent – the emergency threshold – and infant mortality is at 18 per cent.
And amid severe funding shortages which have meant aid cut-backs, she told journalists in French: “It breaks my heart every time a child comes to me and says I’m hungry.”
Speaking later in English, she said: “Where you have kids, those little girls and little boys coming to you and looking at you and telling, ‘I’m hungry, I’m starving,’ it’s horrible, really horrible. Unfortunately the situation has worsened because we had in one year’s time an increase of 70 per cent of the internally displaced people. Meaning more children, more little girls and more little boys, meaning also that it’s a whole generation that is sacrificed because they are not going to school.”
She said it was very important to keep providing them with humanitarian assistance, which meant going beyond food distribution, beyond the access to water, beyond the access to health. “It’s just access to hope.”
Of the more than $515 million aid requirement needed in CAR for 1.9 million people, less than 20 per cent has been provided so far this year.
Fighting between the mostly Christian anti-Balaka militia and the mainly Muslim Séléka rebel coalition has plunged the CAR into civil conflict since 2012. A peace agreement was reached in January 2013, but rebels seized the capital, Bangui, in March of that year, forcing President François Bozizé to flee.
Concerned with the security, humanitarian, human rights and political crisis in the CAR and its regional implications, the Security Council authorized the deployment of a UN stabilization mission, known by its French acronym, MINUSCA, in 2014 with the protection of civilians as its utmost priority.
The humanitarian community distributed high-energy biscuits to 1,500 children and debilitated adults who suffered from starvation and thirst for more than 72 hours during an outbreak of violence in Mbomou Prefecture, Central African Republic in May 2017.
The country’s huge natural wealth – in the form of diamonds, gold and uranium – continues to fuel the fighting, Ms. Rochdi explained, adding that there was “absolutely no problem” in areas “where you don’t have that much to steal.”
The violence reached the capital, Bangui, at the beginning of the month after almost a year of relative stability.
In that incident, 70 people were killed in clashes between security forces and armed militia, and thousands were displaced.
Ms. Rochdi said that UN troops had to intervene after Muslims were denied healthcare access.
The town of Bambari has also seen armed groups return, despite becoming a “safe haven for all communities” since last year, the UN official added.
The militia aimed to put pressure on the government to grant them an amnesty but this would be a “disaster” for the country, Ms. Rochdi insisted, before adding that efforts to prevent impunity had been stepped up and had resulted in a Special Criminal Court, which is due to start work in CAR next week.
Some of its “first clients” would be “high-profile leaders of armed groups,” Ms. Rochdi said, adding that CAR was one of the most dangerous places on earth for humanitarians, with six people killed this year and attacks on aid workers and looting happening on a “regular” basis.
Yet despite the instability and fact that funding levels in 2017 were only 40 per cent of what was requested, she maintained that it still made a substantial difference on the ground and had helped to prepare communities to withstand future shocks too.
It meant that more than one million people had access to water, that 7,000 tonnes of humanitarian assistance were delivered and more than 60,000 children were given an education.
In addition, the aid ensured that more than 70,000 farming families received a vital seed allocation, helping them to become more self-sufficient.
More than 17,000 children from six to 59 months suffering from severe acute malnutrition were also given support.
The most important thing was that the people of CAR had some sense that they had a future, Mrs Rochdi said, adding that humanitarian assistance “is making the difference between life and death”.
Aid is also “the best way for all of us to sustain peace in CAR”, she added, since the funding gave communities hope.
