Brexit: London continues to lose too Dublin!

Well, the Tories with their mismanaged priorities and in-fighting, which have let the world see three Prime Ministers in a very short time. Is now seeing a half-baked approach to leaving the European Union on the 31st October 2019. As if Boris Johnson cares about governing, he only cares about holding power. Even if it means that he makes London from a Metropolis, into a provincial town of Europe. Because, it will be a sovereign provincial town when this is done.

The partly released Operation Yellowhammer is showing how big of a blow it will be to the United Kingdom. This will effect the trading, the banks, the industry and all parts of life after they are leaving the Union. All sort of movement will be slowed and all sort of cross-border trade will suffer. Still, the Prime Minister and his Tories says it will be splendid.

Will it really be?

Losing trade agreements with the all the EU partners, loose out the internal trade without tariffs to the EU26. Surely, that will be the golden ages for London. As businesses has already moved to Dublin, Amsterdam and elsewhere to save the business transactions and their securities within the Union. Something the Tories will not say, but is a fact, that cannot be dismissed. The amounts of jobs, work and funds poured out of City of London with a snap of an eye. Because, they didn’t want to risk being a “Third County”, WTO standard company operating to the rest of the EU.

Surely, it must be nice to know that previous companies, previous partners and investors are looking elsewhere. As they are seeing Dublin more fit for operational needs than London. That must be gift that keeps giving. Must make the Brexit Party proud and the Right-Wing Tories feels like proud-cock.

The Irish has the advantage, even though they will be hurt by this, they have powerful friends in Brussels. Who will fight their cause and for their needs. They will get leverage and packages to patch the hurt. While, the British and London will have to find new pockets of money or slash funds from out of nowhere. Since, the state is losing, the tax-base shrinking and popularity of Downing Street Number 10 is at an all time low.

It doesn’t matter right now, if the Tories and DUP think they are bloody brilliant, if they think they can hoodwink the Irish and EU. Because, they see it through. The timeline is dark, but the possibility of winning is not an option. The Good Friday Agreement, if it matters to London, means they have to do something. But don’t anticipate that, the EU will honour that with a temporary backstop to help out Dublin and Ulsters Belfast. However, London is more into unicorns and elves than trying to find a solution. They are campaigning across the kingdom, instead of configure out the final details before they are leaving. The laziest approach any government can do. Maybe, that is why Dublin is becoming more important and London is not.

Dublin actually acts sincere, acts with a heart and actually with a concern. They are not just internally squabbling and hoodwinking the public. No, they have actions, budgeted funds for the hard times ahead and has helpful backers from Brussels. The UK has sort of deals on the line with New Zealand and United States in the waiting. But nothing that can be able to salvage the losses of membership with the free-trading community of the EU.

The Tories will not say that, while Dublin has the gold. London is losing and it does so on its own. It doesn’t need help from anyone. The UK manage this all by themselves. It is their magic trick, go from being someone to be no-one. The UK went for fools gold and thought they bought the price. They didn’t and it is worthless. Its just like they don’t know it yet. Peace.

Opinion: At this point, Corbyn cannot make Brexit worse…

This is a point that will not go home at the extreme right or the Brexiteers, as they are in dire need of a Tories and Brexit Party official to running the show. They cannot see a future or dime light of hope, without any sort of leadership, which entails Tories or Farage. These people are not the ones I listening too. Because, self-destruction mode has been going on since the referendum and we can say its not tasting splendid.

However, the state of the total chaos, resignation and lack of trust is there. The blackballing and hard-line approach to Jeremy Corbyn is obnoxious as this point. Maybe because his leadership and his attitude has secured the most win in Parliament, than anyone in current history. Surely that is hitting a nerve with these so-called conservatives.

They are all putting blame on Corbyn, blame on Labour, but all this time it’s the Tories with DUP whose running the show. It hasn’t been Corbyn who been driving and destroying the nation. No, it’s the Tories who has used Brexit and used the referendum to their advantage, but spoilt it and shot themselves in the foot.

That is why everyone pinpoint, use their pencils and their wordings against Corbyn. Like his Satan, the devil in the flesh, the evil incarnated and the one who’s vilified beyond any reasonable doubt. That is who Corbyn is, even Theresa May and the short-lived Boris Johnson administration have been skating compared to the wordings used against Corbyn. In addition, Corbyn haven’t been a minute or second in power, no the other guy has been, not him.

This is why I am writing, because its clear that the establishment, the elite fear Corbyn. Like his the one who take away their grants, their perks and their loopholes to tax-relief in the British Virgin Islands. Because who knows why his that bad, when he has had the most victories in Parliament.

The Tories is the ones who is cannibalizing itself and using Corbyn as a shield. In way that is obvious, that they can dismantle themselves and vote in order of their beliefs, but the others is not accepted. It is funny that the Withdrawal Agreement could be voted for three times, the No Confidence could be plenty of times against the Prime Minister after David Cameron, but having a new referendum for Scotland and Brexit is a no-go?

Because, voting for self interests are cool, but voting for the bigger picture again? Not cool. That is the message from the Tories, who clearly plan to use all means to stop Corbyn. Even if it means total utter disgraceful ways of demolishing democratic institutions and also self-inflicted harm on the economy and livelihood of plenty. That is what the Brexit does, especially a no-deal. That no-deal will ensure problems with medicine, food and others imports.

Still, the Tories will blame Corbyn. Everyone will point at him, while the ones at the Helm, is the ones that has created this mess. Because they didn’t fix it, they just made it worse. That is what the gentle of the Tories have done. They have let the Brexit burn and let out no confessions.

They are ushering it in, but giving the credit to Corbyn. Like a banker taking huge loans, but asking the state to bail him out. In this picture, Corbyn is the state. But in reality he isn’t, his still the opposition, but is blamed for being the state. His the one whose villain, when in reality it’s the Tories who has done this and trying to deflect their damage, their hurt and their arrogant mischief. Peace.

Opinion: Magufuli should look at Acacia before he throws shade at Museveni!

President John Pombe Magufuli has advised President Museveni to sacrifice part of the 185m USD tax bill charged by the URA to conclude plans for the construction of the crude oil pipeline and begin the project forthwith in order to create jobs” (NTV Uganda, 07.09.2019).

Today, is yet another day of hypocrisy. It is not new, but just another story like that. As the Tanzanian President Magufuli is right that Uganda Revenue Authority and their winning of a Court Case, which entails a tax-dispute between Tullow Oil has suspended the development of the pipeline and the drilling in parts of the Lake Albert Basin. As the farm-down agreement between three parties, Tullow, Total and CNOOC is on-hold.

That is where the Tanzanian President is right. Period. However, he is wrong in a whole other sense. Should President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni tell his counter-part, that he should mind his own business? Yes, actually. Because, in this manner. The Tanzanian one is doing the same battle with anther extraction industry. The mining industry, the Acacia Mining tax scandal. Where the the company has to back-pay the government.

This the Tanzanian counterparts slapped on the company by in 2017. The same sort of settlement the Ugandan did with Tullow in 2015, as the Republic wanted back-taxes for the investments done in the territory. That is why Magufuli shouldn’t whine about this.

Surely, we know Magufuli wanted the man-power, the taxing rate of the movement of goods through his United Republic and secure the usage of Tanga Port. Museveni knows this, but he wants the tax for the operations done by both Heritage and Tullow. That is trying to ditch the back-pay on other companies whose buying their stake in the Lake Albert Basin.

Therefore, with the knowledge of the Acacia scandal, that is still going on to this day. Magufuli wanted back-pay for lack of taxes from the mining industry. Which is righteous, just like Museveni does at his place. The Tullow has now used years from 2015 to 2019. Acacia has now used 2017 to 2019. In 2018, the ownership of Acacia said it looked forward to negotiations with the government. This year in February, the company still have no resolution to the back-pay of taxes. That means the government of Magufuli have not fixed the same issue.

Just like the Ugandans haven’t fixed the farm-down and back-pay of operational taxes. Because, the company trying to configure itself out of taxes. Surely, Tanzania see the same acts by their mining industry. But in this regard, Magufuli wants to earn a dime on the oil exploitation in the Lake Albert Basin.

So, before the Tanzanian get it fixed with Acacia or Barrick in their own dominion. They should give time for Ugandans to fix their own tax dispute. They have even won it in an International Court. Therefore, the Ugandan case is stronger, than the one of Acacia. Whose only internally disputed.

That is why, this isn’t the faults of Uganda Revenue Authority, but of Tullow, whose trying to deflect the payment of taxes in the Republic. Something, Magufuli wouldn’t allow anyone operating in his territory. If so, why this hustle against Acacia and still not stopping it?

Because, Magufuli want the taxes and the proper payment for doing business in the United Republic. Just like Museveni want the proper payment for doing business in the Republic.

So, please Joseph, get your own domain straight, before throwing other people under the bus. Maybe, once in the while accept criticism. That might given your argument a more flair and less selfish reasons for addressing a neighbour and an ally. Peace.

Brexit: Lord Teverson letter to Secretary Villers MP – Defra ‘no-deal’ Brexit preparation (04.09.2019)

A Breakdown: Oil exploitation, which is so taxing…

The deal that broke down these days…

In the Republic now its official that the companies that was supposed to buy the stake and the licences to drill for oil from Tullow Oil have backed out. This means, that Total and CNOOC is not operating or willing to foot-the-bill that Tullow left behind.

This is all a play for guards, they all want the slice of the price, but don’t want to be taxed for it. They want tax-holidays for operating and extracting the oil, even as the incentives to build the oil pipeline to Tanga, Tanzania is put on hold. Since a big part of the Lake Albert Basin is still in question. Since, the Tullow Oil doesn’t want to deal with the taxes in question.

Tullow Oil have to back-pay taxes, which it lost in court. They are obliged to pay these, but want the other companies to foot-the-bill, since they will drill and exploit situation. The others gather that this has occurred before they did and that Tullow should pay it. That is why it’s a dead-lock. Because, none of the companies want to pay the taxes.

This is the infamous taxes, which led to the Presidential Handshake drama and wobbling defence of it. That made all the people and civil servants dance for a hot minute. Now, we are seeing the deadlock because of this one.

The state is allowed and should tax the ones whose operating in their territory. Without a question or without any hesitation. Because, they should be able to pay for your rights to be able to do business somewhere. However, here it’s a mismatch of the amounts gained in courts and the planned surrender of Tullow.

Tullow considered that their Farm-Down deal with Total and CNOOC would clear their old debts with the Republic. Instead, the other companies want its shares, but not its past invoices. Which is natural. Because, your paying for other peoples misfortune and cost of operating. That is simple math.

It is Tullow that has done business, who has been operating and whose been in charge of certain parts of Lake Albert Basin. They got to stay responsible. Now, they just looking like a shell-company wanting to be a tax-evasion corporation, who puts their costs on their trading partners.

Within that reason, its understandable that Total and CNOOC wants to have other options and other obligations, also pay their taxes and returns, if they start to drill on the licences previously kept by Tullow. But at this moment, the company think it can get the hook and crook.

Because the victory of the President Handshake isn’t a bargain, but a huge toll for the company. That is why it wish to push the envelope to someone else. This is not natural, but not without a consequence. That they are backing out and giving way. Instead of going into business on these sectors of Lake Albert.

The loss, is also the proposed earnings, the supposed development of the oil sector and the pipeline to Tanzania. As everything stops and shuts its operations. As the CNOOC is sacking employees and who knows what Total does too. Tullow might even do it too, until they find someone who wants to pay their bills. Because, from history they showing that they don’t want too.

The state one, what was theirs, but the companies doesn’t want to pay to play. They want tax-holidays and a free ride to the promised land. That doesn’t happen and therefore, the stalemate and yet another set-back for the oil development there. Peace.

European Commission: Brexit ‘no-deal’ prepardness: Final Commission call to all EU citizens and businesses to prepare for the UK’s withdrawal on 31 October 2019 (04.09.2019)

Opinion: The UNSC should mandate the AU, ASEAN and USAN with an Observation Mission and TAMM in the UK!

It is an utter scandal how the lack of democratic values, how the Prime Minister and the sovereign nation of United Kingdom is acting. That its risking its place in the Europe. This being done by an government who suspend it national assembly, wanting to govern by decree in the days for the biggest decision and leaving the EU by 31st October 2019.

Since, Conservative Party and Prime Minister Boris Johnson are making a smoke-screen of the world. While the state there is making a mockery of the citizens. Using riot-police to silence the public and also stopping the national assembly for 5 weeks. This is what the PM does now. He does it in the vital time before the clock is run-down.

With this in mind, there is a need of United Nations Security Council to mandate of the African Union (AU), Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Union of South American Nation (USAN) should be allowed to send Observation Missions and create an Transitional and Arrangement Monitoring Mechanisms (TAMM) who will secure the Brexit. Because, the international community in combination with this bodies can send honourable world leaders to ensure the Tories and the MPs are doing the right thing.

In the midst of the crisis, the government and the parliament seems to need help. It needs some resolving bodies and multi-national bodies can give it guidelines to help the transition, which respect the will of the public of the United Kingdom and also the rest of Europe. Because, the UK seems to need it.

That the AU, ASEAN and USAN can combine their strengths, be outsiders looking into the grievances between the EU and UK. Where the they can monitor the needed stipulated articles and statutes to ensure a proper break. Since, it is seemingly after this three year long process and they are not able to figure it out.

Can, the United Nations Security Council in combination of the AU, ASEAN and USAN get mandate to have an Observation Mission with a TAMM in the United Kingdom. It it is needed, they just don’t know it themselves yet. Peace.
