Ethiopia: Salsay Weyane Tigray – Press Release (05.08.2024)

Opinion: The PLU is telling what we already knew…

The new challenges of the youth need new solutions. The new solution is none other than Muhoozi Kainerugaba for Presidency in 2026” – Pascal Natamba (05.08.2024)

Everyone alive for the recent decade remember the closure of Daily Monitor and Red Pepper after the release of the documents or letter in relation to the “Project Muhoozi”. That was released by Gen. Tinyefuza and we will never forget that. This is why even a decade ago Gen. Muhoozi Kainerubage said the nation wasn’t a monarchy and he wasn’t seeking the throne. However, we all know that’s a lie and it all started by the “birthday parties” and “public rallies” for his future candidate.

It started with the MK Movement and the MK Army, which has become the PLU. The Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) is only an organization made for one reason. That is to further the cause of Muhoozi and legitimize him to the public. This is to sanitize him and make him familiar. In such a manner that it is reasonable for him to takeover. Therefore, everything is planned and this is way to make the army commander a choice and the second coming of the Republic.

The PLU presser continued:

We are the unstoppable and expendables. We are coming with our new power and new solution. Corruption and riots will not be heard anymore. Everything will come to an end with Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s leadership. The army is in a good state. We are praying that Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba resigns from the army and prepares for the Presidency of this country” (Natamba, 05.08.2024).

It is so basic and so evident what they are trying to do. This has been in the cards and we could spot it for a mile away. Muhoozi is being ushered in and has been promoted to the higher echelons for a reason. He is the next in line and the State House wants one of their own. It is to ensure the wealth and established presence in the nation. That’s to continue the family affair and the high command within the same ranks. Therefore, it cannot be run by outsiders, but only by the Kaguta and the family surrounding him.

This is the reality here… and Museveni hasn’t let anyone else takeover for a reason. He don’t trust them and fears for what would go down. The reactions to his end and the family would suffer. That’s why he needs his son to be the next to succeed him. This would save the family fortunes and continue his legacy.

That’s why the son has created the PLU and that’s a NRM 2.0 and we see that who is appointed or working within the PLU. The PLU is just an organization affiliated and part of the NRM. Even if it isn’t officially. Because, there are so many high ranking officials from the NRM who has a say and has title within the PLU. Therefore, this is a steady ship and calculated affairs.

The presser of today is just to normalize Muhoozi. A man with little to no charisma. A man who has shown little character or ability to govern. He is a military man and a man with a bad track-record in regards to violence. A man of vengeance and that what the father sought for him. This is why he won’t be fit for governing. Alas, that isn’t the values of the President who rather see the family run the Republic and everyone bowing down. As long as the Army and the authorities are loyal to the first family. When that falls… that’s when the nation will change and rapidly too.

Muhoozi isn’t new and isn’t there for the youth. His for the old and for the past. He is just there to take custody and prolong the agony. Muhoozi won’t bring change or a revolution. No, his there ensure the Rwakitaura farm is the command centre of the nation. Peace.

Sudan: The Coordination-body of Civil of the Democratic and Civil Forces (Taqaddum) – Press Release (04.08.2024)

We reviewed the meeting broadcast on Sudan TV with Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and a member of the so-called Sovereignty Council, which disappointed the hopes of millions of Sudanese who aspire to a real peace that would end their unspeakable suffering in displacement centers and refugee camps, and instead of anyone giving them good tidings. The leaders of this accursed war were close to silencing the sound of the guns. The meeting was exactly the opposite, and the meeting was filled with many fallacies and arbitrary accusations against the democratic civil forces calling for stopping the war.

Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta accused the Coordination of Civil Democratic Forces, “Taqadum,” of collusion and treason. These are accusations, but they are false. They indicate a high degree of irresponsibility in launching the talk at its weakest, regarding those who are supposed to have the quality of leadership and wisdom, as Lieutenant General Al-Atta knows before anyone else to avoid these lies. In fact, who worked to spare the country from war? Who sought to extinguish its fire? Who is working day and night to address its disastrous effects, to which the generous team contributed greatly? Who is he who actually works for the benefit of his country and its people, who calls for peace or who carried shovels to demolish his country and kill its people in Sudan’s previous and current wars, and the dispersal of the sit-in, and who participated in making the October 25 coup and the subsequent killing of demonstrators, and finally who ignited the April 15 war and insists on its continuation? Even if all the people died and the country was destroyed from one end to the other.

Lieutenant General Al-Atta is drowning in the sea of blood of the Sudanese people that he shed without mercy, and whoever commits all these crimes has no right to claim a moral advantage that gives him the right to distribute the instruments of patriotism and the merit of belonging to the soil of the homeland and its people.

Al-Atta’s statements also reveal the tragedy of the military institution that has been politicized to the core and no longer cares about the simplest rules of military professionalism. The man has neither a vision for war nor a vision for peace. Rather, he is addicted to a war of words that is rife with racism and the disparagement of many of the authentic Sudanese components. The military institution, which was greatly infiltrated by the Islamist movement and which turned some of its senior leaders into mere spokespeople instead of adhering to the professionalism, discipline, and rigor required of those wearing a military uniform. This politicization weakened the military institution and brought it to deep levels of disregard for the interests of the people and the country’s capabilities, and this is what it clearly revealed. The April 15 war, which demonstrated the validity of what we argued early on about the necessity of building a single national professional army that distances itself from politics and the economy and adheres to its basic duties, which are limited to defending the country from security threats.

Finally, we in the Coordination of Civil Democratic Forces (Taqaddam) affirm that such conversations will only increase our adherence to the path that we have chosen in searching for ways to bring peace to our country, a path that is blocked by many forces that invest in war and take it as a peace to achieve their authoritarian goals at the expense of the country’s ruin and the death of people. . The difficulties of this path will not stop us from working for the benefit of our country and its people until this tragedy ends and our country enjoys peace, justice, democracy and prosperity in a country where all forms of discrimination, tyranny and corruption end.

Our message to Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta and the rest of his comrades in the armed forces is that what the people of Sudan expect from you is not racist chants and empty shouting, nor talk in philosophy about the difference between the concept of the people and the nation, nor the heaping of gratuitous accusations against the civilian forces seeking to end the war and distribute national medals, but rather a courageous decision is expected from you. By going to negotiations to reach a lasting peace, which requires addressing the origins and origins of the problems that led to wars through a peaceful, negotiated solution.

Ethiopia: Abiy aren’t holding no talks with Fano or the OLF-OLA…

It’s been a while since we started negotiations and peace talks with armed forces in the Amhara Regional State” (…) Because the forces are headed by different leaders, we’ve had to talk to each of them one at a time. When one leader agrees, the other disagrees. But the fact is we are still in continuous communication with forces in Amhara. The leaders are in talks with the government, but they have diverging positions” – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali (01.08.2024).

Just like the Ministry of Peace isn’t fostering any peace or the National Dialogue Commission aren’t making any substantial progress in concern to dialogue. In the same manner that the Prosperity Party aren’t making the nation prosperous either. It is just the ways things are moving with a warlord and liar-in-chief.

Prime Minister Abiy could take power and cling on to it. He now has the funds and the ability to prolong the agony. The International Monetary Fund and World Bank is funding his operations and gives him strength. That’s why he has to make them belief that the situation is better and his progressing. Even if it is all built on a lie and won’t amount to anything.

We know that he isn’t in talks with the Amhara Fano Leaders and neither is he trying to forge new dialogue with the Oromo Liberation Front/Army (OLF/A). That is something that is far from what he would do. For so long now and with new offensives. He should instead have them on their knees and beg for mercy. Alas, that isn’t happening and his armies are out of loss.

The same is true with Shane. The Shane, armed groups in Oromia, are also led by more than one leader under different groups. Since these groups have different positions, we are in talks with some sects. The major factor that is hindering agreement with those forces is that they consist of different groups, so agreeing with one sect does not lead to an agreement with the whole armed force” (Abiy, 01.08.2024).

We are just seeing a man who is willing to lie about something as significant as this. Speaking of dialogue and talks, but there is nothing there. Nothing is happening, except for more drones and battles in the regions. The Fano’s are still fighting the federal government. OLF/A is still fighting the federal government too. Therefore, nothing is changing and only more bloodshed.

Ethiopia aren’t getting better, but only getting more worse. The new macro-financial policies will only devour the economy and deplete the state. It is only the beginning and the loans will be used up eventually. These funds won’t last long as the PM needs fresh weapons and ammunition, and that doesn’t come cheap. Wars aren’t only costing life, but is an expensive affair. To use force to consolidate power take not only time, but also lots of reserves, which has run out for the PM. That’s why he had to accept the terms of the IMF/WB to get fresh liquidity.

Now, he has to show another face and act like his a man of peace. Even when he isn’t and we all know it. His a blood-thirsty man and a tyrant. A man of war and usage of lethal force in the name of rule of law. He will use the armies and soldiers to get the last remaining dissident to obey him. That’s what Abiy does… and he cannot manipulate the facts anymore.

He was able to trick the nation and the world at one point. Now years down the line. The truth is out. The Medemer Terror is a Modus Operandi and the liar-in-chief continues to lie. Lying about negotiations and talks. Like his talking to them in his head and envisions that ghosts appears to accept his invitation. That’s a delusion or an outright use of power to make belief. In a way to seem more hospitable and sincere. When we all know… he would just like to see them all die. So he can rule supreme as the new Emperor of Addis Ababa. Peace.
