RDC: Mouvement Citoyen FILIMBI – Denonciation (14.01.2024)

President William Ruto will now use the chance and continue his lifestyle. Not that the President will be without house or board. No, he has all the perks and will lavish as his used too. Even as the State House is under renovation for two months. That is just giving him reasons to visit the other state lodges of the government.
He could use the time to be a foreign dignitary and plan working visits to other destinations. That would be typical him. Go to multi-national conferences and be part of the foreign policy. Just so he can make Mudavadi a side-kick and lesser of prominent figure in his cabinet. Not like anyone should outshine Ruto regardless.
The President has now a reason to be abroad and be visiting nations. While the other ministries or government entities are told to tighten their belts. The President gets time to spend elsewhere and not the “ordinary work weeks”. These next two months we should expect him to visit every corner of the world.
We shouldn’t be surprised if he went to the Middle East, Asia, Oceania or America. This President want to see the mountains of Europe too, if he gets a chance and maybe he can hold talks with Biya in Switzerland for all we know. Just so he can get some tricks for longevity and keeping himself in office for life.
It would be easy to see Ruto in South Africa or other nations on the continent. Maybe even visit Kampala to soften the blow of the fuel scandal of late, which has made the Ugandans change their imports through Tanzania instead of Kenya. That would be spending with a purpose and not seeing the sights.
Ruto has enough work to do and the usage of public reserves to refurbish or renovate the State House seems like a total waste. In some regards it is, because it isn’t a direct government service entity. It is more for the publicity and the image of the Republic. Which is fine and dandy, but it doesn’t serve more food on the plates of the ones living under duress.
We know that Ruto has a home in Sugoi, Uasin Gishu County so surely he can work from “home” to if he please. Secondly, we know he has estates and other possible prospects too. It isn’t like the President is homeless and has to jump on a jet. However, we know he prefers that and enjoys the spoils of the office. That’s why he takes every chance he gets to be abroad and serve as “His Excellency” there.
Since at home he has a workload and has to deliver. Yes, he comes to churches and functions where he drops empty promises or hot air. Nevertheless, that is what got him here and it’s his modus operandi. That’s why people cannot expect more of him. His a self-serving person who seeks to enrich himself and the State House has to ooze wealth!
William Samoei Ruto won’t be here in office to cater or try to deliver anything substantial. He has gotten away with being subpar and being a publicity stunt his whole career. Where he has navigated the political spectrum and been able to upgrade his office one step at a time. Now that his at the top. We shouldn’t expect magic or supernatural results. That’s not who Ruto is and he can just sell a story, but not implement it.
With the recent news and knowledge of how he has spent his time in office already. We know he will travel excessive and be less in Kenya. He will be outside Kenya and feel the luxurious vacation spots or be part of expensive conferences on the public’s dime. That’s who he is and now he cannot return to the “State House”. Neither will he work from Sugoi or anywhere for that matter.
I think he will pack his suitcase and find his next destination. Peace.

“Supreme Political Council in Yemen: “The aggression is an extension of the treacherous American targeting of the Yemeni naval forces and the Zionist aggression against Gaza. All American-British interests have become legitimate targets for our forces in response to their aggression against Yemen.”” (Al Arabiya, 12.01.2024)
I’m sure that most of us haven’t been connected or in tune with the resounding conflict, which has persisted in Yemen since 2014. Where fractions have either been supported by a US-Saudi Alliance or by Iran. Therefore, the prolonged agony and suffering has continued, as the humanitarian catastrophe haven’t stopped, neither has bombs or the drones. No, the war has existed and become a regular thing, sadly.
With that in mind there was warning signs already in December last year. As there was only a month ago escalation and that the Houthi would retaliate at any vessel going to or supporting the Israeli War-Effort. Meaning the Houthi would strike and attack the vessels in the Red Sea or Gulf Aden, if they were in association or helping the state of Israel to wage war in Gaza or in Palestine. Therefore, they had an motive for their actions.
This has by all means consequences as logistical companies, merchants and others have to use the long route around the African continent, instead of taking the short-cut with the Suez-Channel. Which means businesses will loose out on precious time and they are also paying more in transit or transport, because of the added days at sea. In that regard, we know the West had to retaliate and that they have.
For the West the sea-route and the vessels with commercial enterprises are more valuable than the fight against bloodshed in Gaza. It is more concerning for the West that they are not getting cheap products or consumer goods from the Global South. This seems more volatile to them then the lives of Palestinians.
That’s why a joined coalition of forces with the British and American armies respectfully attacked and bombed Yemen. Just like Yemen haven’t already been bombed and been served devastation for years already. A blood-soaked nation, a suffering nation and a nation who needs remedy, but not bombs. However, that is the answer of the West. Instead of understanding their grievances and taking it into account. They rather spend more funds on war and hurt even more people. That’s the solution to the Yemeni problem.
Washington and London isn’t winning any more hearts in the Middle East by doing this. They are further alienating themselves and showing what matters to them. These nations rather stand by the side of Israel and save their businesses, instead of stopping genocide and ethnic cleansing on the Gaza Strip.
Yes, you can ask questions about the Houthi actions and if it is righteous. However, if they didn’t do anything. No one would have minded about the war in Yemen and the old conflict there. A conflict that been a proxy war of outside forces supporting either side of the conflict. Therefore, prolonging it and now they are directly attacking it too.
No one would have cared about Yemen and their issues unless the Houthi had blocked international shipping and the commercial aspects of these businesses. That’s why they are doing this and it’s the only thing that matter. They rather bury the Yemeni people, as long as they are securing the assets on the ships. That’s it. That’s the story and it’s telling, because now the British and American war-machines are geared in on Yemen. For one reason, the shipping industry and continued support of Israel. That’s it and it’s tragic that it all boils down to this. Peace.

“Documents submitted by Ministry of Finance before Parliament’s Budget Committee have revealed that Uganda’s support from donors is expected to drop from Shs2.781Trn in 2023/24 to merely Shs28.94Bn in the coming budget of 2024/25” (Parliament Watch, 12.01.2024).
The Republic of Uganda and its government is within its rights to enact laws and codes, which the citizens must adhere too. That is a must and a need of any sovereign state. Uganda is no exception here in this regard. However, they have been used to donations, grants and fiscal stimulus from the outside, which has had strings attached and they are now working directly against it.
The recent shortfall of funds and lack of donor support comes because of the Anti-Homosexuality Act of 2023. This because the Western donors aren’t interested in supporting governments that target the LGBTQ and criminalize their behavior. Therefore, in the interests of the donors this isn’t what they signed up for or want to support. That’s why the donor funds are dwindling at a rapid rate.
The National Resistance Movement (NRM) has caused themselves this distress. They are within its rights to do so, but this is self-inflicted harm. The Act itself was said to not do financial damage when the paper was written about it. However, we are seeing the truth.
The President and his Party can act all supreme, but we know they are used to eat other people’s money. This is why they are bound to borrow more funds and continue the spiral of deficit financing with loans from elsewhere. That’s what they are up to and its obvious to the naked eye that it will only get worse.
The donors won’t come to the government’s aide now. They cannot sell it to their own people and gain popularity by doing so. Because they know it won’t create the popular drive they need. The NRM and the President can be popular for doing so in the Republic of Uganda, but it is different in the donor countries.
This is the reality and it’s all about the cause and the affect. One action has another reaction. A chain-reaction if you may… the NRM is learning the hard way and a brutal one at that. They are self-serving and doing it with a purpose. Though the costs of this burden will be on the next generation and when the loans mature. If they are off the hook, the debt burden won’t hurt directly, but sooner or later the nation will face default. Unless they suddenly has a new revenue stream to save it’s grace. Peace.

The ones believing in the General Elections of 2026, the newly appointed Chairman and Commissioners are telling. It isn’t compelling or even trying to be independent. The Electoral Commission is ready assembled to rubber-stamp and pre-approve a majority or a victory on behalf of the regime.
At this point, it is just going through the motions. All elections since 1996 has been like that to certain degree. Nevertheless, the more time that goes and the more times things repeats itself. It just shows that its done for legitimacy sake and not in concern with the will of the people. The people are just there as pawns and for show. To look like something is going down, but in reality we all knew what would initially happen.
The National Resistance Movement and the President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni aren’t playing around. That’s why the Electoral Commission is filled with cronies and token loyalist of the President. These won’t serve the interests of the people, but rather ensure prolonged agony for everyone else involved.
The opposition can try to do the same ting again, as they have done in 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016 and 2021. However, with that in mind… they will not go anywhere and will only be serial losers, because the whole state apparatus and the machinery is built against them.
The ballots are just a figment of imagination, as the numbers and algorithms are created to fit one narrative and one narrative only. The other stories doesn’t matter and why should they? There is only “one man with a vision” and “one old man with the hat”. The rest are just hoodlums, parasites and useless lazy citizens who doesn’t know better.
The Pan-African spirit and the patriotic act is to be indifferent and accept this fate. That there is only one who is fit and the rest are just window-dressing. They are there for a front and to make people believe in Multi-Party-ism, but we know the game.
This game isn’t made for the players, but made for the ones appointing the referees. It don’t matter if the players are more skilled, fit or has the technique to impress. No, they will be fouled, loose and be destroyed by technicalities. They might get some feeling of “victory” but they will never ever be close to a real win. That’s because the referee and VAR was already prepared for their loss. This is why the appointments of the EC is so vital.
President Museveni now knows he has people who will serve him and they will do it diligently. Even if they have to do it in darkness under social media ban or internet blockade. The EC have to deliver and make it seems legit. Not that it has to be honest or sincere, transparent or even fair. As long as Museveni and NRM comes ahead of the them all. That is all that counts, the rest is just a play for the international press and to give hope to the hopeless.
This President doesn’t play and he never believed in the will of the people to begin with. He wanted to postpone election and didn’t believe in multi-party elections either. This man wanted to rule supreme and without questions. That’s what he fought for in the bush and it shows.
The appointments of the EC proves that. The ones who has faith in 2026 is delusional. It won’t work and we all can see it from far away. Peace.
