“Its goals are absolutely clear and they are noble. I said it from the beginning and want to draw your attention to that. In my very first public statement, addressing the nation and armed forces. I set our objectives clearly. The main goal is to help the people of Donbas. It was impossible to continue to tolerate that genocide that lasted for eight years. That’s firstly and Secondly, Ukraine began to turn into an anti-Russian foothold, to our regret. They began to grow sprouts of nationalism and Neo-Nazism that have been there for a long time. You know, if you paid attention, I spoke about this in one of my public addresses. They were intentionally growing those Neo-Nazi Sprouts, and a clash with these forces was inevitable for Russia. They were only choosing the time for an attack. It is obvious fact. That Neo-Nazism, unfortunately, has become a fact of life in a country that is relatively big and close to us. This is an obvious thing. It was inevitable, it was only a matter of time. And what we do – helping people, saving them from nazism on one hand, and on the other hand, taking measures to ensure the security of Russia itself. It is obvious that we had no other choice, that was the right step. We don’t intend to be isolated. It is impossible to severely isolate anyone in modern world – especially such a vast county as Russia. That’s why we are going to continue to work with those of our partners who want to cooperate” – President Vladimir Putin (12.04.2022).
You know that the excuses are altered and getting changed… as in February 21st 2022, as the national address was made and the Donbas regions had their signing ceremony in Moscow, Russia. As the Kremlin and Duma was preparing to not only acknowledge the two “People’s Republic’s” of Donbas, but also signed a security agreement with Russia. Therefore, the Russian Federation wanted to use Donbas like it did to Crimea after an 8 year long civil-war in these areas.
What is also striking is that Putin isn’t mentioning North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) as a reason and neither the historical perspective of nationhood of Ukraine. Which was to vital parts of the invasion of Ukraine. It is like that is forgotten and the new memo is to make everyone associated with Ukraine to become Nazi.
We know that is what the Russian media has spoken of late to “de-nazify” Ukraine and the Russian President speaks in the same manner now. Putin is using the same rhetoric… and he has only that reason now. His not even mentioning or concerned about NATO. The NATO expansion or such wasn’t it. Neither was the supposed reason of Kyiv to be either controlled by Brussels or Washington D.C. which was also the case on the 21st February 2022.
That’s why what he said is obvious today isn’t what he said in February 2022. We are now in middle of April 2022 and getting closer to 50 days of invasion of Ukraine. Alas, his reasoning for invading has been twisted from then. It is now all Nazism and nothing else.
He didn’t even care or state about USSR, the creation of Ukraine and the whole treat of NATO. That has just dwindled. It was no obvious that Ukraine was the hidden Nazi-”Germany” across the border. A hornets net of the Gestapo and Storm Troopers soon knocking on the door of Moscow. You would believe those things, if you believe the words coming from Putin.
However, it is really striking that a nation who seeks to get closer to Europe and NATO to be such. That an independent nation of Ukraine was both Eurocentric and seeking closer allies with the rest of the European Union. That sort of nation being Nazi wouldn’t be associated or fit in the mould of the EU. Neither would that follow the ideals of NATO. Therefore, you know this is a lie. Not that it’s not Nazis in Ukraine, there are pockets of it and the same can be said Russia. This is why extremists needs to be addressed everywhere. The Azov brigade is a proof of that, but not like Putin isn’t feeding dangerous right-wing and nationalistic parties across Europe. So, Putin should look closer to his friends and allies. Because, they are closer to that than the ones he claim is reigning in Kyiv at this very moment. The far-right and fringe leaders he supporter are closer to the ideal of what his supposed to fight in Ukraine. It just show how far fetched the “obvious” is at this point.
Let’s be perfectly clear… the Ukrainian President is a Jew and of Jewish ancestry. Why would his government work with Nazi’s and be associated with them? When those are working against him and his people. The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has proven his credentials and what his government does, but Putin has to lie about that. This is what an invader does and it’s despicable. Peace.
