Burma: Justice for Myanmar – Telenor Group is ading and abetting M1 Group to violate Myanmar sanctions (22.03.2022)

“I have just learned with dismay of the death of Soumeylou Boubeye Maiga, former Prime Minister of Mali. His death in prison recalls that of President Modibo Keita in 1977. I thought that such assassinations belonged to another era. My condolences to his family and friends” – President Mohamed Bazoum (21.03.2022).
It is just one of those days where the President of Niger, the Head of State in Niamey have decided to throw a curveball and speak his peace. There is always possibilities and unknowns in this world. As many things are not reported, investigated or even proven to be true. However, as a President and neighbour. You would say things with caution.
Nevertheless, the President of Niger prefers talking like his in a bar and not proving his allegations. Yes, we know that the former Malien Prime Minister was sick and ill. That has been reported since December 2021. We know that the family of the deceased wanted him to get treatment and be taken out of custody. Therefore, his health has been affected by the detention facilities, which where they kept him after arresting and charging him.
Just read this:
“Mali’s former prime minister Soumeylou Boubeye Maiga, who was being held on suspicion of corruption, has died, his family said Monday” (…) “Maiga had been in custody since August 2021, initially in a central Bamako detention centre, before being transferred to the clinic where he died. A former foreign minister and head of the intelligence service, he was believed to be well connected in Mali’s security establishment and had been accused of financing pro-state militias. He was appointed Keita’s prime minister in 2017 but resigned in April 2019 over a massacre that left 160 people dead” (The Guardian Nigeria – ‘Detained Mali ex-PM dead at 67’, 21.03.2022).
I don’t President Bazoum would take it kindly, if any of the high ranking officials or the Interim President Colonel Assimi Goïta had stated similar fashion about someone in Niamey. It think Bazoum would have felt insulted and asked for proof.
Bazoum should come correct with this. As his predecessor Mahamadou Issoufou sent his condolences and regards to the government of Mali. Which is in total contrast to the current head of state. This sends a signal, but also shows how Bazoum disregard the current regime in Bamako.
We know Bazoum has friendly and cordial relations with Paris and that’s where they differ from Bamako at the moment. Niger prefers being the close ally and being under the plights of France. That’s their preference and is the reason for the contingent of French forces have been moved from Mali to Niger. Therefore, this might be a ploy to play in defence and show a token of support for their causes. In a way of criminalize and tarnish the current leadership of Mali. Which wouldn’t be shocking, but seems so.
I don’t know if Bazoum prefers to be close to Paris and far from Bamako. However, that is how things seems and he clearly plays to this assumption. Especially with how he acts and what he decides to do. Peace.

“We’re calling on all MDC-T members and supporters to go and vote on March 26 for CCC candidates across the country. By voting on March 26, we are building a strong foundation for a resounding victory in 2023. I’m also calling on our members and supporters and citizens at large to go to every house, street and village and mobilise citizens to go out and vote in numbers for CCC candidates across the country” – Thokozani Khupe (Thomas Sibanda – ‘Khupe says ‘let’s put the past behind us’ as she backs Chamisa and CCC’ 23.03.2022).
With the recent act of Khupe it shows that the Movement for Democratic Change – Tsvangirai (MDC-T) is a defunct or practically shell of it past. The battle of victory and ownership of the MDC has tarnished both Khupe and Douglas Mwonzora. They have been part of the ZANU-PF pawns to destroy and dismantle the biggest opposition party.
So, with the knowledge of that, as the Mwonzora and Khupe actions has re-called MPs, Councillors and whatnot. These two has gone after the name and relinquished everything. If she didn’t loose to some sort of internal battle with Mwonzora. Khupe would have been the leader of the MDC-T and MDC-Alliance. As she now awaits to loose the rights and membership in MDC-T. That’s because Mwonzora runs both defunct entities on the mercy of the state.
Khupe can now wear yellow and go from the red of MDC. She can act and talk of participation of the CCC. However, no soul with a working marble believes she is sincere about this. She worked so hard with POLAD and ZANU-PF to distort and dismantle the previous party. That is what she did and if Douglas hadn’t outsmarted her. She would have been on top and been the best mate of the crocodile.
That’s why I have little faith in Khupe. She is a political mercenary and if a dictionary needs an example… Khupe is a perfect one and a mint edition. This is why today is such a flabbergasting day and injustice to the acts of the not far-distance past. She has been in the game and acted like this for political favours. Khupe might speak ill of Mwonzora now and feel the need to find a new home. However, that home shouldn’t just open up for her. She isn’t an honest agent and can easily be corrupted again.
She can easily become a political bedmate of the President and the Lacoste. Her action sand words of the past doesn’t change with a publicity stunt of which she did today. Khupe cannot erase it and neither can she turn back time.
Yes… people can change and people can get new moral understanding of our surroundings. Nevertheless, this is a ploy and not a believable theatre. As a person she could have grown and become a better politician. However, I only see this as fishing for relevancy and hoping to get a shot in the new opposition party.
I hope that the CCC is not just accepting her in and giving her a space. Khupe is a destructive force and a bad actor. That doesn’t change overnight. She has deliberately destroyed the MDC-Alliance and MDC-T. So, why do you want a villain to participate or be a part of the new party….
This is surely done on her own… but the CCC leadership should speak out and address this. Khupe and the like who is the reason for the existence of the CCC. Shouldn’t suddenly play a part of it. The ones that made this change a need and a necessity… shouldn’t suddenly get a pass or be a voice of the CCC. That is disrespecting all the skeletons she left behind in the MDC-T. Peace.

What the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Republic of Eritrea have deliberately done since the start of the war in November 2020 is to make bureaucratic hurdles, block roads and all sorts of passing to ensure the catastrophe, which is appearing in front of our eyes.
We are now in the March 2022 and the collective retaliation against one region is severe. The possible man-made famine, starvation and usage of food to weaponize hunger is clear. There is no middle-ground or justification for this. It is just bluntly genocide, not by the usage of guns or ammunition. No, this is collective punishment of a region, because the leadership and the political parties didn’t’ comply with the will of one man in Addis Ababa. The party and leadership didn’t accept to be part of the newly minted Prosperity Party and ran on their own. This is why he has to punish and use punitive actions to get them under his “unifying” banner.
This is not only hurting rural farmers, which is not getting the seeds in time to plant. No, the whole blockade is ensure death is surrounding every corner. Medicines are not entering the region or in stock at the hospitals. The region haven’t had electricity or water for months on end.
“The overall situation in northern Ethiopia is still highly tense and unpredictable. In Amhara, sporadic clashes continue to be reported along areas bordering Tigray in North Gondar, North Wollo and Waghemra zones. Similarly, the situation in Afar Region continues to deteriorate, with armed clashes reported in Abala, Berahle and Koneba Woreda in Zone 2. Access beyond Afdera Woreda, Zone 2 is currently impossible due to the clashes, hindering humanitarian operators from accessing an estimated 200,000 displaced people located in the inaccessible area, according to authorities. In Tigray, heavy fighting was reported in the eastern parts of Atsbi Dera Woreda in Eastern Zone. Airstrikes were also reported in Alamata and in the outskirts of Shire Town on 10 and 11 March respectively. The reports are yet to be verified and confirmed” (…) “In Tigray, families are exhausting all remaining means to access food, with three quarters of the population reported to be using extreme coping strategies to survive. The level of food insecurity is expected to worsen in the coming months as remaining food stocks from the last harvest, which was half of normal year production, get depleted and humanitarian assistance is not delivered at scale and on time due to lack of road access into Tigray to bring in supplies. The 2022 Meher season is a month away and prospects are bleak unless immediate action is taken to avail seed and fertilizer to farmers in Tigray on time. The implication of a third consecutive poor agricultural season will be devastating on the lives and livelihoods of the conflict-affected population. There was no movement of emergency agricultural inputs (seed, fertilizer, and agro-chemicals) into Tigray Region since the beginning of July 2021. At present, only 4,000 tonnes of improved seed of a total of 49,000 tonnes required is available in the region. Arrangement is being finalized to transport seeds, fertilizers and animal feed from Addis Ababa through air cargo” (OCHA – ‘NORTHERN ETHIOPIA – HUMANITARIAN UPDATE -Situation Report’ 17.03.2022).
We know that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs dropped a statement on the same day saying a convoy was on the way and to help the region. While it has been later reported that the Convoy came to the Zone 2 in Afar region where it was stopped, looted and destroyed before entering into the Tigray Region. This how the Humanitarian assistance is blocked and stopped before entering. There is only a little entering by plane or by air-dropping it over the region. Therefore, we know things are bad.
Just to put it perspective, here is how the OCHA described food security gaps on the 17th March:
“As of 14 March, there was only around 800 MT of food commodities within Tigray. Out of the 800 MT, there is only enough stock (47 MT) for a balanced three-commodity basket. The rest of the 750 MT is mainly only pulses and oil, not able to form a balanced three-commodity basket. The closure of Semera-Abala-Mekelle route for the movement of humanitarian cargo to Tigray since mid-December 2021, while the food stocks available to humanitarian organizations for food distribution are almost depleted. The Western Zone in Tigray continues to be inaccessible for most partners, and information about the situation on the ground remains limited. In Amhara, Abergele woreda in Wag Hamra Zone is partially accessible due to insecurity thereby delaying food dispatches and distributions” (OCHA – ‘NORTHERN ETHIOPIA – HUMANITARIAN UPDATE -Situation Report’ 17.03.2022).
When you read this and see how the overview is stated. You know things are dark and grim. Especially, when the state and allies acts like everything is fixed for the latest convoy. While only days later there is reports of stopping and looting it. The other air-drops of humanitarian assistance is only given the region a fraction of what it needs. This has been described by the UN Organizations and Multi-National Aid Organizations, which did work in the Tigray region. We are seeing deliberate actions to block and stop the needs of others met.
This is the sort of weaponization of humanitarian assistance and food security. They are doing it and there is millions who are suffering because of it. The plights of Tigray Region cannot be overstated. The deaths and malnutrition is all on the hands of leadership of the Addis Ababa. The Federal Government haven’t done their duty and they are in-charge of the demise of these people. Therefore, they are vindictive and viciously taking lives by not allowing third parties to deliver or spread food to a part of the population. That is the sort of reasonable Prosperity Party, which is in power.
This is the sort of thing, a Peace Prize Winning Prime Minister is busy doing. The PM has to be held accountable… and his government is transparent about it. They have within his party and government officials spoken of wanting death and venom over anyone being ethnically Tigrayan. Therefore, the weaponization of food seems to work in this favour. It is tragic and a sinister, which leads to these atrocities.
At the very moment, there isn’t massacres made with weaponry, drones or machetes. No, it is done by the ill-will and deliberate act of starving a population. That is the sort of order and decree, which gives the Prosperity Party to hold parties and celebrate their existence in Addis Ababa. Peace.

“We cannot pretend that all is well because now we have more questions than answers. We continue to ask why our Children die shortly after elevation to positions of power. For all those who think
Jacob Oulanyah stood in their way, please Forgive us, forgive him and give us a chance to grieve peacefully. We shall all die, it’s a matter of time. We are all designed with a different mode of death” – Rwot David Onen Acana, Acholi Paramount chief (Entebbe One, 21.03.2022).
“There is a planned move to eliminate all the sons of Acholi that are rising, government needs to explain” (…)The government should tell us clearly, if the people of Acholi are not worthy owning any key position in this country so that we tell our sons who are still remaining to resign”– Hon. Gilbert Oulanya, Kilak South MP (100.2 Galaxy FM Zzina!, 21.03.2022).
Well, the later Speaker isn’t alone dying in mystery. Riddled with questions and trying to find reasons for his demise. Jacob Oulanyah is following countless of people into the afterlife. While the living is trying to figuring out why he died and for what reasons. As he had the world by the balls and now everything was taken away from him.
There been high ranking officials who has fallen very ill and died. There been generals and opposition figures who has done the same. There been assassinations, murders and unsolved mysterious, which are haunting the authorities and the ones in-charge. As people are dying and without any sort of explanation.
What is also significant is that the murders, the assassinations and other mysterious deaths are left in the cold. With no redeeming answers to the ones remaining or the greater public at large. As the big-men, high ranking officials and other associates are found dead or killed, but nothing is said or done to settle the cases. Instead, the government, the authorities and whatnot shelves the cases and let them be gone from memory. That’s at-least how it seems from the outside.
As they are at one moment parading suspects and showing up possible culprits. However, none of them are tested or proven guilty. Therefore, it all falls flat and the ones behind the deaths are left alone. They can just find the next victim and move-on. Because, they know the authorities and the state will not seek after them.
With that in mind, the unfortunate demise of Oulanyah is following a pattern, which gets people to suspect poisoning. This sort of trick of the state has been done in the past, as they have claimed blood-clot and similar illnesses from people, which until very the end was deemed as healthy and fit. Alas, this being Generals and other High Ranking Officials who suddenly fell ill and died. This is why people and the Acholi leaders are questioning this as well…
It is very natural to do. Especially, with the knowledge of what has happened in the past and not so long ago. This make sense, but also sends a frightening signal, as this means the state and their authorities possible can be behind these mysterious deaths. Which in a sense, makes anyone possible targets and could at one point or another face the same fatal blow. Therefore, the need for resolve is apparent.
That resolve and report of what really happened and caused his death. Not only pre-texted statements, without further explanations. As this all happened after he got appointed to Speaker and since then his been very ill. That’s how conspiracies are starting and they can easily run loose. While we know of several of other cases, which has never been resolved. Therefore, we shouldn’t expect this one either. Peace.
