Opinion: Putin’s War-Cry

Why did the Bolsheviks need to generously encourage any nationalist ambitions on the imperial periphery? Handing over territories and the population of historical Russia… the nationalists didn’t even dream of this. Ukraine has never had traditions of its own statehood… the Ukrainian state is built on denying everything that invites us, the historical memory of millions of people” (…) “Maidan did not bring democracy to Ukraine… after eight years the country is divided, Ukraine is living through a severe economic and social crisis. 15% of the population had to leave the country for work, usually for non-skilled labor” – President Vladimir Putin (21.02.2022).

There is no shadow of a doubt anymore… there is only bullets, ammunition, weapons and mechanical divisions prepared to invade Ukraine from Belarus and encircled the Republic of Ukraine. As the Crimean peninsula is filled with Russian military too. As much as the seas and everywhere has been detected military troops and movement over the last few weeks, as the “military exercises” was moving along.

However, there was more to it. As the Russian has supported separatists in Donbass region, in the Donetsk People’s Reublic and Luhansk People’s Republic, which have been recognized as independent republics. The Kremlin is practically coping it’s strategy, which it did in Georgia in 2008 as they did the same to the self-proclaimed republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. The same trick is being used here, but maybe to a further extent.

Putin is clearly in the position and with the army to run through Ukraine. However, that will be a costly war. In Donbass region, the separatists militias has enlisted all grown men during the weekend and sent refugees to Rostov within Russia. Therefore, the preparations was already in motion. As well, as the false-flag operations to make excuses and blame Ukrainian army for cease-fire violation.

However, today the Kremlin and Russia have practically dissolved the Minsk Agreement by recognizing the DPR and LPR. That is the “master-stoke” and the war-cry of the former KGB agent in Moscow. He has planned this and now it is set in stone. Diplomatic communities and everyone can see the talks has been futile. As the inner-circles in Moscow was preparing for this.

The US and Nato have shamelessly turned Ukraine into a theater of potential military action against Russia” (…) “Ukraine’s armed forces may well be commanded directly from Nato Headquarters– Vladimir Putin (21.02.2022).

There is a saying old men is waging war and young people are dying in it. This here sounds like more of the same. As Ukraine is the newest target for Putin to excel his power in Eastern Europe and the former USSR Republics. As he clearly see himself as the man to right the wrongs of the former Soviet leaders. Therefore, this can be a sign of what he is willing to do.

He just entertained the European leaders to check them or see if they had any flex. However, he feels safe and Kremlin think they can pull it off. Since, they were able to annex Crimea and now they can take further territory in the East before Western values or alliances get close to its borders. Therefore, he is now on a mission and wants to send soldiers to die for his cause. The cause of the previous empire and the ones he served as a youngin’ as a spy.

That is clear now and the victims are on both sides. As a bloody war will be on the horizon and the President does it to avenge Lenin. That really says it all. We just hope he doesn’t find any faults for the time of Stalin or tries to reverse anything Yeltsin did. Peace.

Opinion: When is OKA officially gone? [As we are patiently awaiting to pronounce it dead]

The One Kenya Alliance (OKA) was a short-sighted vehicle for former CORD/NASA principals. A few of them has already left the fold and is now part of the Deputy President William Ruto’s alliance. These are Moses Wetan’gula and Musalia Mudavadi. Those two left it and together with Ruto created the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

The ones left behind with prominence are Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, Gideon Moi and Marta Karua. It is now the talks of the future for these three and their parties, which are the OKA at this very moment. However, OKA is only a temporary gig and it lost even more steam when Amani National Congress (ANC) and Forum for the Restoration of Democracy–Kenya (FORD-Kenya) left it.

The Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM), Kenya African National Union (KANU) and National Rainbow Coalition (NARC-Kenya) all has choices to make, but it is written in the starts. Unless, they want to go it alone. That is in doubt, as the strength is with the strongest allies. Therefore, these folks needs to look outside. Because, they know perfectly well that they have no hold or grasp to push any narrative or story to sell during the campaigns.

This is why we know these are now negotiating and ensuring a safe-haven in the Azimio la Umoja coalition, which will have the backing of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) and the Jubilee Party. As these two are gearing up a successive campaign for Raila Odinga to become the fifth President of Kenya.

Nevertheless, that means the likes of Kalonzo Musyoka have to trade away his hot-shot spot and degrade his stance on being the top-dog in the up-coming elections. He will again become a co-principal and follow the direction of Odinga. That got to sting after trying to do this on his own with the OKA coalition. Which is soon defunct and a relic of the 2022 elections.

Since the OKA was built on sand and not on mountain grounds. It was bound to be taken by the waves of the sea and eventually get destroyed. That is evidentially what’s happening, as the Azimio la Umoja and OKA is planning an agreement in the near future. If that is true, than the OKA is on it’s deathbed and soon done as a unit.

That means Kalonzo, Moi and Karua is trying to get a cut and a significant place in the possible new administration. They are all doing the bidding and ensuring their opportunity to eat post-election 2022. These folks are just trying to get a digestible meal and hoping Odinga takes the tab. That’s how it looks from a far….

We can just wonder how Odinga and his team is taking this. As this has been an expected move for months. The end of OKA was already there when Mudavadi and Wetangula decided their path. Now, the rest has to find a decent home and shelter. The only viable place is under the wings of Odinga. Therefore, they are seeking it… but trying to carve the best out of it. As they want to buy and sell their parties for the most political capital. That is the initial drive now.

We just have to see if it was a trade of bargain or overprice in the coming days. As we know the egos and the people in question has high belief of their own value. It is just time to see if it will be equated or be devalued by the ones across the table. Peace.

FYI: OKA is dead, we are just awaiting the pronunciation of it. So, the ones believing in it can mourn.

Ethiopia: Mass arrests of youths and activists in the Ogaden region

Arrests of civilian population continues overnight in Somali State (Ogaden). Dozens of youth & activists arrested in Degahbur town & 10 ONLF veterans arrested in Wardeer town in last 24hrs. House raids at night Increasing all over the Somali State. Public protest increasing” (Ogaden Diaspora Council, 21.02.2022).

More than 10 ONLF Ex-soldiers have been arrested in Wardher, the capital of Dollo in the Somali region. The government of Mustafa Omar has imprisoned Former ONLF Fighters and Central committee members ONLF deal in 2018 a peace agreement with the Ethiopian government” (Muhammed Abdullah Ali, 20.02.2022).

A week ago on the 15th February 2022, I wrote this start and it’s fitting one week later:

The Somali Region or the Ogaden region will be set on fire, as the Federal Government and Regional State Government will crack down in the youth and the opposition voices there. They will claim that these are trying to overthrow or a coup d’etat against Somali Region President Mustafa Omar Agjar. However, he was never elected or a representative of the people of the region. He is an unelected regional capo-regime of the Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali” (Minbane, 15.02.2022).

It was just like scheduled programming and the Prosperity Party imposed government is doing exactly what we could expect in the Ogaden region or Somali Region of Ethiopia. That is very evident by the recent arrests in Ogaden. This just shows what the state does and how it cracks down on civil society, opposition and dissidents in general.

We are now seeing a clear picture and regional president Mustafa Omar Ajar is clearly doing his bidding of the Addis Ababa regime. He is serving the same sort of vicious tricks, which we have seen in other regions during the Medemer Terror era. Therefore, the acts in Ogaden follows a pattern.

Nobody should be shocked by this, but this a reflection of how the Federal Government of Ethiopia is operating these days. The same is now happening in Ogaden, as it has happened in other parts of the Federal Republic.

Now, the reports are out and the speculations earlier in the month was right. The state has now started to use all means to silence and shut down the opposition there. Peace.
