“Now is the time to lead our nation paying the necessary sacrifices. Starting tomorrow, I will be lead the ENDF at the frontline. If you want to go down in history as one of Ethiopia’s pride let us meet at the war front” – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali (22.11.2021)
The Lieutenant Colonel Abiy Ahmed Ali will go from the Situation Room onto the frontline where the Tigray Defence Force and Oromo Liberation Army is advancing in the Amhara Region. Now after over a year of war. The Prime Minister decides to be on the front-line.
He has on occasion visited the army and inspected military equipment. Like he looked into a shipment of drones and the vans where you control it. However, he hasn’t been steady by the troops or by the positions of the Ethiopian National Defence Force (ENDF).
What is striking is that the former Lt. Col. will now directly order and direct his Generals. Maybe he thinks he can revise his days in a Intelligence Team in the Ethio-Eritrea war between 1998-2000. So, his maybe thinking he can change things directly, as the advances are getting close to Addis Ababa.
That’s why he wrote this:
“This is not the time to be a critic from afar. We must do what we ought to do. Ethiopia has no one other than us. The name Ethiopia is the name of winners. It is an emblem of freedom. I have no doubt that my generation will pay the necessary sacrifices to maintain the freedom and the name of a winner so that Ethiopia and Ethiopianess will be written in golden pen among history’s records” (Abiy, 22.11.2021).
We know Abiy has been focused on intelligence and messaging. That is why he was a working for extended time with Ethio Telecom and Ethiopian Television. This is clear by how his messaging and PR system has been initiated since he took over.
The Lt. Col. have clearly lived on hubris and promise of finishing the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF). This “Operation Law Enforcement” was supposed to be a brief and quick fix to end the power-struggle. However, the ENDF and allies didn’t succeed. They are still tormenting Tigrayan citizens and causing mass starvation in the Tigray region.
Now, the PM wants to be the man in-charge and be on the front-line. That will be a set-up for photo-shoots and all smiles. While he knows the enemy troops have gathered strength and ability to navigate across the Amhara region. They cannot easily be corned and crossed by his troops. That’s why his crying out loud for more people to be front-line to follow him. Since, the past battle-cries and forced conscriptions isn’t enough even.
Abiy is failing, but want to look above it all. He wants to look like he has control and seems like a victor. While the truth on the frontline says otherwise. This time around he cannot scout around or make sudden smart moves. His not in a intelligence team and can find ways to hit the enemy.
Now, he will sit with the General and speak of strategy. Now, he will discuss tactics and what sort of moves he can do. Before, he was just a information gatherer on the frontline.
I don’t believe he will be there long, because that doesn’t suit the 7th King. No, he needs the Palace and the glory. Not the dirt, the wounds, the ammunition or the continued reports of movements along the frontline. No, he needs the power and the prestige. That his not getting here. This is just a move for headlines and moving-on to the next troubling waters in his reign. Peace.

“At least 107 bodies were found following the attack, yesterday and today, of the villages of Drodro, Largu and surroundings, in the province of Ituri, by militiamen of CODECO. The vast majority of the dead are civilians” (Ekipe, 22.11.2021).
“Drodro (Ituri): the FARDC who had fled when the CODECO militiamen attacked yesterday Sunday finally returned to the locality on Monday, after the militiamen withdrew. The toll of this attack remains to be confirmed, but could be high” (LUCHA, 22.11.2021).
The CODECO isn’t the most known militia or guerrilla operating in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Kivu Security Blog has written this about CODECO for everyone who doesn’t know their history:
“CODECO is essentially active in Djugu, a territory of Ituri province long-scarred by community-based violence and tensions, effectively between the Hema and Lendu ethnic groups. This can be traced back to colonial times: steeped in racialist theories, the Belgian authorities supported the Hema community, whom they considered to be superior at the time, and who were mostly comprised of farmers (see the report “Violence and Instability in Ituri” by the GIC network), often to the detriment of the Lendu community, which is one of the largest of the province (just over 25% according to some estimates)” (…) “According to Floribert Njabu, the moral authority of the FNI, who was able to enter into dialogue with the CODECO militia in 2020, members of CODECO present their movement as “an army, a church, and a company” all at the same time” (…) “CODECO militia members do not clearly articulate their political demands, apart from their right to fight against the “harassment” by the FARDC who they accuse of having been “infiltrated” by foreigners, according to Floribert Njabu. Incidents caused by CODECO are not limited, however, to attacks against the FARDC: they have also committed many killings, particularly of Hema civilians” (Kivu Security Tracker – ‘In Ituri Province, the FARDC are Unable to Distinguish CODECO Militias from Civilians’ 15.11.2021).
So, now the CODECO have killed even more people in the Ituri region. This is clear now that they are continuing their rampage in the region. As the CODECO is settling the scores of old in the territory. This might be another one where the CODECO is targeting the Hema population in the Djugu territory of the Ituri region.
This is very tragic and the KST have registered 133 violent incidents between 1st April 2021 to the October 13th 2021. That is this year alone, but not since their inception and that should be worrying. The FARDC cannot run away from the region and return when the massacre is over. That is what happened this weekend.
Ituri region is one of the regions under State of Emergency and still the FARDC isn’t safeguarding the general public. That is a tragic result and so many innocent civilians lost their lives this weekend.
After this massacre, the CODECO should be known like M23 or any other guerrilla being active in the DRC. Peace.

The Central Council of the Forces of Freedom and Change held a meeting this afternoon, Monday, November 22, 2021 AD, in which the meeting discussed in detail the developments of the political situation in the country, which included the following themes:
• The meeting discussed the political agreement between Dr. Hamdok and the coup leader, General Burhan, and considered it an extension of the coup measures announced by Al-Burhan on October 25, 2021.
• The Central Council of the Forces of Freedom and Change affirmed its previously announced position rejecting this agreement as a rejection of the goals and pacts of the glorious December revolution, as it ignored the real issues of civil democratic transformation stipulated in the Declaration of the Forces of Freedom and Change in January 2019
And the constitutional document in August 2019 which is:
1- Transitional justice issues and the accountability of all those who have committed crimes against the Sudanese people since June 30, 1989 until today.
2- The necessity of structuring and reforming the doctrine of the military and police institutions and the security apparatus, structuring them, and defining their tasks in a professional manner, while ensuring that those among their affiliates who committed crimes against our people are held accountable, with their liquidation from the elements of the former regime and their transformation into national institutions subject to civil authority.
3- Accounting for all those who planned, executed, participated and supported the October 25, 2021 coup.
4- Ensuring that the military institution does not interfere in the political process and reject any partnership of this institution in the process of democratic transformation towards the establishment of a civilian constitutional authority.
• Considering any framework or political agreement between Hamdok and the leader of the coup, General Al-Burhan, as an agreement that does not meet the aspirations of our people and stands against the movement of our people in resisting the coup of October 25, 2021 AD.

There is more verified information from the battlefront between the Ethiopian National Defence Force (ENDF) with their allies. While they are combatting the united front of Tigray Defence Force and Oromo Liberation Army. Over the recent days there been more news and I rather wanted to collect more substantial information before I make another post about it.
Already on the 8th November 2021 I wrote the TDF-OLA allies was marching on Debre Birhan. They were planning to launch attacks towards that strategic city, which 132,7 kilo-meters away from the capital Addis Ababa.
Today, we can with certainty say the TDF-OLA have captured Shewa Robit yesterday and on the same route they have taken Debre Sina. While on another front within the Amhara region the TDF-OLA have taken Molale in North Shewa. There is also reports that they have taken Mehal Meda, the administrative center of Menz Gera Midir woreda. These are significant blows to the national army and the progressions isn’t swift, but its closing in. Both in the mountains and on the main road towards Addis Ababa.
While on the Afar region front at Kassa/Darsa Gita front the TDF haven’t been able to compete with Afar Regional Special Forces and the ENDF there. They are still at the stages of Bati and not anywhere near Mille, which some still claims and have been saying for over a week. Which is fake news and the Afar region isn’t where the TDF have been able to advance like in the Amhara region.
There is clear indications that the fronts encircling Addis Ababa is going much better. Though at a slower phase, as there was some speculations and others who nearly was ready to proclaim a quick takeover of Addis around the 10th November 2021. We are now on the 22nd November 2021.
The state isn’t doing any good and is losing territory, but they are doing it in a slow speed. It is not like the united front against the ENDF is winning without costs or without tactically planning it’s advances. This is why Addis Ababa is for the long haul and not a short term takeover. Not like it looks like at this very moment.
The most damage the ENDF and it’s allies does at the moment is with drone attacks on the front-lines and on civilians in Mekelle. However, that will not win the war. The TDF-OLA is advancing and it’s clear on many fronts now. It isn’t one place alone. The Afar front-line has been static and not moving in any clear direction. They are meeting a competent adversary there. That is very clear and this is why the TDF haven’t succeeded there for now.
This will be continued and this is far from over. The conflict that started early November 2020 will continue. There is no denying in that and the agony will be prolonged. The pain, the suffering and the hurt will linger on for decades. This war won’t be over when just the guns are silent. This war will be over when the grievances is settled and the places are rebuilt after the conflict is over. That isn’t a quick and brief fix, but rebuilding a state after war-torn battles.
Right now the TDF-OLA front is advancing and doing it strategically. Time will tell how quickly they are able to move and how fast the ENDF allies are fallling. Whatever it is, it will be bloody and until things are verified. I will await the verdict of further movement of the troops in this civil-war. Peace.

“If you are humble and excellent at your work, you are a perfect future choice for God to use, for His glory! You just wait and see!” (Janet Museveni, 22.11.2021).
The First Lady and Minister of Education Janet Museveni returns yet again with a sermon. She has a long series. As she is occupied with the end-game of the regime and trying to get a job at a Pentecostal Church when the Life Presidency of the husband is over. Since, she needs a fall-back plan and she cannot afford to live in exile in Sweden again. Therefore, she is mentally preparing herself to be a pastor and a preacher full-time, as her role as minister is abysmal and the only reason she is still there – is her husbands fault.
She starts out straight out of a Christmas evening sermon:
“The topic for this week’s dialogue is humility. This is a quality that originates from the knowledge of God, and can be learned especially from the examples of His son Jesus Christ who was born on a farm in a calf-pen. This is the Son of God, the Creator of the Universe. He could have been born in a palace and taken care of by the best medical practitioners. But no, instead God, in His ways, decided to have His own son born in the humblest of places and we are told that even His parents could not access any room for accommodation in the nearby guesthouse” (Janet Museveni, 22.11.2021).
She speaks about this in a way, which is very common and not deep. This sort of extraction and speaking of Jesus Christ isn’t new. The usage of the place of birth and where he spent his first days have been used by many. It is a reflection how the most powerful man on earth was living in a place of poverty and not in riches. Which is very nice message, but nothing significant.
We know Janet and her clan is bashing wealth. They are closing of the Entebbe Expressway for Mzee to drive. Kololo can be closed of for days just so the meetings and gatherings can happen. This making jams and troubles for the rest of commuters in the greater Kampala area. Therefore, it is very rich that a wealthy person like Janet speaks of this. Because, her family and relatives isn’t humble like Jesus, but contrary they are living like Gods amongst men.
She continues later on: “His teaching always showed His humble attitude e.g. He taught that when one goes to a function, one should not be quick to sit in the first row seats. Instead, sit in the back seats until those who invited you recognise where you are sitting and call you forward if that’s where you are supposed to be” (Janet Museveni, 22.11.2021).
This is not how the family of Museveni operates. Even Janet herself operates above the rest of Cabinet and the Members of Parliament. As she have the power to summon everyone and call them in for a meeting. That is not usually done by Minister, but the Minister is usually called for by the Parliament to submit a statement or report in a plenary session. If not the Minister is summoned for insubordination by His Excellency and possible sacked. Therefore, she isn’t a humble soul awaiting to called upon from the back. No, Janet calls everyone from the front and doesn’t beg for it either. She is not the right teacher for this message… just saying.
She ends the sermon today with this: “Go on your knees and ask God what His purpose for your life is. Don’t give up asking that question until God answers and shows you the way to go in order to fulfil His purpose for your life. He might have already even led you to do what He created you to do. If that’s the case, then you should dedicate yourself to doing the best possible job that He may lift you up, because God is always on the search for the people to use as an example for others – especially in young countries like Uganda” (Janet Museveni, 22.11.2021).
Here she’s in full preacher mode and not lecturing mode. Though she wants everyone to pray and ask God to help them out. Clearly, she knows deep in heart that her government and husband will not help them. So, they got to pray and hope that God will manifest himself in some sort of fashion. It is not like the NRM or Museveni will bring stability, financial institutions or the backing of a government, which could help businesses to thrive and secure good enough jobs. No, the public have to pray for that. Since the husband of Janet cannot suffice and cannot be bothered to serve the general public. This is why the general public only has one option and that is to pray. Which is really tragic and not at all humbling.
Let us all just be rest assured, that Janet wants to have the cake and eat it too. That is just who she is and clearly she’s not fit for office, but that isn’t shocking or a special reveal. She is just proving to the world with her messages that she should go to Bible School and become a Pastor. That is her life dream and not be a minister in any cabinet. Mbonye should be called and other ones too. Just so she can get her aspirations out in the open, instead of a closet-preacher. It is not funny anymore and her calling is very evident. Peace.

“I would like to congratulate the people of Sudan on today’s historic event. An agreement has been signed ensuring that Sudan continues on the path of democracy and the people’s will. We are ready to work together hand-in-hand with Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok and his team to realize the people’s aspirations for freedom, peace, justice and a life of prosperity. I would like to reaffirm to our partners around the world that we remain committed to the principles of the December revolution. The corrective action taken in October was absolutely necessary to ensure that we remain on this path. We call upon our partners in the international community to continue supporting Sudan in our democratic transformation, as we prepare to hold elections at the end of the transitional period” (General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo aka Hemeti, 22.11.2021).
General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo aka Hemeti is jubilant for the re-instating Prime Minister Hamdok. When the first Transitional Military Council was made in the past. It initially gave legitimacy towards the likes of Hemeti. Who has been a warlord and a despicable tyrant in Darfur with the reigns of his militia the Janjaweed or the Rapid Support Force (RSF). Because of this… the man got a high office and became a high ranking official in government. The same happened in the Sovereign Council as well.
Now, there is a new Transitional Sovereignty Council, which is filled with army commanders and hand-picked “civilian” leaders or former warlords, which was signatories in the Juba Declaration. They are there and is legitimizing council as a functional government. That is now added with the Political Declaration signed off yesterday. This is why Hemeti wants to celebrate it.
Hemeti wants the junta government another try. He wants to keep all the power and not be challenged. The general knows perfectly well that if he looses power and office. He might have to answer for his past and the current transgressions against protesters. There is people dying, because the military will not give way.
The general can play around and be like a fool. This trick shouldn’t work and the ones eating the ideals of the political declaration haven’t figured things out. Hemeti and Al-Burhan wouldn’t have ordered and configured a second coup d’etat, if they weren’t interested in keeping the power for themselves. This is not to make the transition better or soften the blow. No, it is all about keeping control and having it without accountability.
Hemeti is happy for this, because Hamdok is pragmatically signing off to the army. Hamdok is a plot-devise to sell the new council. He becomes the man they can show-off and make it legit. While the army can do whatever it wants. The PM might look supreme and have a mandate. However, everyone with a marble working will know that Hemeti and Al-Burhan will handle the things that matters. They bought peace for nothing and hope it could trick the masses too. Nevertheless, the general public doesn’t seem to eat it.
Hemeti hopes the international community is believing this and that the Transitional Sovereignty Council gets legitimacy. The General hopes everyone eats his words and supports this new transitional government, which it shouldn’t, but they hope the “stability” is more important, than an actual civilian government.
Hemeti and Al-Burhan wants all power and that’s why they did the second coup on the 25th October 2021. Now they want Hamdok as the Prime Minister to officiate it all, but he will just give way to them. Hemeti is a conniving man and hopes to get away from everything. He hopes this transitional government can absolve him of his past. Clearly the power and office is ravaging his mind.
Hemeti must take people for fools, because the deal was dead on arrival. It is just like the new council doesn’t get it. They don’t have the support of the civilians and this is why the revolution continues. While Hemeti … wants it to look like they are part of it, which they are not. Peace.
