Sudan: Forces of Freedom and Change – Central Leadership Council – Statement on the invasion of our peaceful people by the military coup forces in the processions of November 17 (18.11.2021)

Our steadfast victorious people;

The military coup d’état forces committed a new massacre during the processions of November 17, by firing live bullets at the peaceful processions to rise as a martyr and 15 martyrs, and more than 100 wounded have fallen so far, and it has besieged hospitals and tried to storm some of them, and worked to impede the arrival of the injured to them, and the sanctities of homes in residential neighbourhoods in the capital were profaned, which led to the intimidation of citizens and citizens.

This came after a deliberate cut off of communications and internet services to impede informing regional and international public opinion of the atrocities committed against our defenceless peaceful people, and these treacherous forces are still besieging some neighbourhoods of Khartoum Bahri until the time of writing this statement and arresting more revolutionaries and free revolutionaries.

The Central Command Council of the Forces of Freedom and Change has mercy on the souls of the honorable martyrs, and sends sincere invitations to the injured for a full recovery, and confirms that the crimes and massacres committed by the coup d’état systematically since the announcement of the coup until today amount to crimes of genocide and crimes against humanity. It also included preventing ambulances from reaching the wounded, preventing the wounded from reaching hospitals in the Khartoum Bahri and Omdurman regions, storming some hospitals and firing tear gas inside their departments to prevent the wounded from being treated with power cuts during surgical operations for the injured.

And all this is nothing but irrefutable evidence that the current coup authority is an extension of the former regime that follows its errant footsteps and reuses its rusty tools, and that those in its leadership cabin are not entrusted with the homeland, so their shame is treachery and betrayal, and they should all be swept away. Because they represent a grave danger to the security and safety of female citizens and innocent citizens, and the real obstacle in the way of implementing the goals of the glorious revolution and restoring the legitimate civil government.

There is no negotiation, no partnership, and no legitimacy with these criminals, and the revolutionary tide and the mass escalation of resistance will continue with all the tried and innovative methods until their complete overthrow.

IGAD and FAO Call for Urgent Actions to Mitigate the Impacts of Drought Across the Horn of Africa (18.11.2021)

A joint statement by the IGAD Executive Secretary, Dr Workneh Gebeyehu and the FAO Subregional Coordinator for Eastern Africa, Dr Chimimba David Phiri.

NAIROBI, Kenya, November 18, 2021 – Vulnerable communities in the IGAD region continue to experience a complex mix of re-enforcing shocks and stresses that are eroding their resilience to food and nutrition insecurity. As of October 2021, 26 million people were already facing high levels of food insecurity (IPC Phase 3+), according to the Food Security and Nutrition Working Group (FSNWG), which is co-chaired by the Inter-governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Due to the threat of worsening drought conditions, food insecurity will likely rise during the first half of 2022 across the Horn of Africa. Urgent action is therefore required now to safeguard livelihoods, save lives, and prevent possible starvation in some areas.

Drought conditions are already affecting the arid and semi-arid lands of Kenya, southern and central Somalia, and Belg-receiving areas of southern and south-eastern Ethiopia as consecutive poor rainfall seasons have driven below-average crop production, rising cereal prices, poor rangeland conditions, reduced livestock production, and drought-related  animal deaths in many areas.

Moreover, as forecast by the IGAD Climate Prediction and Applications Centre (ICPAC), the start of the current October-December 2021 rainy season has been significantly delayed, with little to no rainfall observed to date in many areas, raising the probability of another poor season. Should this occur, agricultural and pastoral conditions will further deteriorate, causing households already struggling with the effects of multiple, concurrent hazards (climate variability, conflict, COVID-19, and desert locusts) to employ negative coping strategies and reduce their food consumption. This is a major source of concern as food insecurity in the region has historically increased sharply following consecutive poor rainfall seasons.

IGAD Member States continue to work in collaboration with development partners to anticipate and respond to various food security threats and build the resilience of vulnerable communities to recurrent threats and crises. During the desert locust upsurge, for example, the unparalleled support of resource partners and multi-agency coordination averted USD 1.3 billion worth of cereal losses, meeting the cereal requirements of 29.1 million people. Desert locust livelihood recovery support continues for more than 200 000 households.

IGAD and FAO share a long-standing history of successful partnership and collaboration in building the region’s resilience in several areas, including but not limited to: livelihood support to strengthen resilience against droughts; food security information and analysis; early warning and disaster risk management; implementation of cross border actions in close collaboration with the respective communities, local and national authorities; conflict prevention; natural resource management; market access and trade; and capacity building; institutional strengthening and coordination through the IGAD Drought Disaster Resilience and Sustainability Initiative (IDDRSI).

Such resilience-building efforts have significantly improved the ability of households to withstand the impacts of shocks. However, the increased frequency of climatic hazards, combined with the effects of other stressors, is threatening these hard-won gains. It is, therefore, crucial to act now to protect these resilience gains and prevent more people from sliding into food insecurity and malnutrition.

To this end, we must support farmers and herders who are experiencing the impacts of poor harvests, depleted food and animal feedstock, and rising food and water prices. More specifically, IGAD and FAO call for a scale-up of contributions to existing and future Humanitarian Response Plans (HRPs) as the response remains grossly underfunded in the relevant countries. Through rapid, collaborative action by all actors, we can safeguard the lives and livelihoods of communities currently bearing the worsening effects of the drought, while at the same time, protecting households’ longer-term resilience.

Opinion: General Museveni thrives on death

I cannot claim that the President Yoweri Tibuhurwa Kaguta Museveni is vampire who gets longer life by sucking on others people’s blood. However, the General and Commander-in-Chief has all his career gotten strength by murder, deaths and killings. He wouldn’t be in office, if it wasn’t for people dying and sacrificing themselves for the cause.

General Museveni didn’t get directly elected in 1986. He used guerrilla tactics and never forgotten them. He continued to tarnish, assassinated leaders, killed civilians and prolonged the war in the Northern Uganda. The General continued warfare in Rwanda for his allies and did similar efforts at least twice in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He also supported efforts in South Sudan and has sent brigades to help other friends out as well, like in Equatorial Guinea. This man thrives on war and counts his blessing for participating in peacekeeping operations. Because, that makes a useful man to the West.

General Museveni has no trouble killing, assaulting or silencing his opposition. He can use the whole authority and get rid of the ones in his way. That’ how he got into office. November 2020 massacres in the streets of Kampala is no difference. They were “hoodlums” and “thugs” who deserved to die. That’s how he states it. Just like the terrorists who killed recently are “pigs”. He can always justify death. This is why he had justifications for Luweero Triangle and all the other massacres ever since. He could also pin the enemy and make his men look “disciplined”.

Without people dying and merciless fall from life. He wouldn’t have a office or have power in general. That is how he has succeeded to have a life presidency. The General have used all means from his inception and even before to get ahead. That’s why he used all means to be part of united front to bring Idi Amin done. Later he brought several more down to make it possible for his reign. It was all through the use of guns and not through dialogue or negotiations.

General Museveni have ensured his legacy to be the death of others. Stray-bullets, massacres and warfare on the regular. Using military means for his personal gains and he never stopped. That’s why the army is involved in everything and is vital for his reign. That’s why his willing to kill civilians and get rid of citizens who are in his way.

He has ruled with fear and warmongering. It not like he has silenced the guns. They have always come in handy, when he needed to get his way. That’s why sends the Police Force, the Army or any other security organizations he can. There is no peace and only brutal force, which ends up innocent lives taken. If it is Kasese, Arua or Kampala. If it is Muslim clerics, boxers or activists, heck even royal security guards. The state can always find a reason and cases are never solved. Drivers of politicians, high ranking officials or anyone else can become a target of his regime. Assassinations and murders are clear path of this man…

General Museveni will promote and ensure the ones who keeps him power. He doesn’t care if the Generals or army commanders kills people. As long as they do this on his orders and they follow his commands. At some point, the General will promote them and give them greater office.

The General is no good and his been so his whole career. The only difference is that at one point he was able to trick people, but we can see all through it now. It isn’t only the civilians killed in November 2020. It is the rest of them that has been silenced over the years. Peace.

Sudan: Sudanese Congress Party – Statement on the massacres of the brutal coup forces during the November 17 million processions (18.11.2021)

I know the secret of the tyrants’ resort to Venice

not afraid..

My voice is a gallows for all tyrants

And I don’t regret it..

My soul is heavy with anger

Every tyrant is a fetish..a wooden doll

..and smiled

All tyrants are puppets

Our proud and rebellious people;

The machine of killing and persecution that the coup plotters, the opportunists, and the remnants of the former regime had on the chests of the revolutionaries and the free revolutionaries yesterday, and since the occurrence of their disastrous coup, have gone bankrupt.

The streets, alleys and alleys overflowed in the capital and the provinces, and the bullets of treachery broke before the spears of their peaceful and terrifying cheers for all tyrants, refusing to turn the hands of time back to the eras of corruption, tyranny and brutal dictatorship.

Demands for the return of legitimacy and the government of the civil revolution to a place of emancipation and development, while fourteen pure souls from the finest and defenseless youth of our people, including Kandaka, a martyr, poured out, for the sake of these legitimate and noble goals, and hospitals were overwhelmed with the pure wounded who made the sacrifices and national giving in amazing steadfastness.

In new massacres, recorded in the long list of crimes committed by the coup plotters, as well as the overcrowding of prisons with hundreds of resistance fighters and honorable resistance fighters.

Our brave and resistant people;

We in the Sudanese Congress Party have mercy on the souls of the heroic martyrs and we pray for the injured with prayers for a speedy recovery and for the missing and the detainees with the auspicious stick, and we see that the method of repression, killing and intimidation followed by the coup d’état has revealed their true criminal face after they cut off communications and Internet services to hide their crimes from the eyes of the world, and in fact it only increases the reward of the revolution.

And he refutes their blatant lies and their false and hypocritical slogans of the revolution are refuted in order to maneuver and mislead international public opinion and to gain more time to try to establish the pillars of their already fallen coup while it is inevitably taking its last breath, which is dedicated to reproducing the defunct rescue regime a new.

It is an approach that reflects their horror at the power of our people and their apparent confusion, and we also condemn the storming of the brutal coup forces into hospitals and their besieging and the firing of tear gas inside their departments without taking into account patients and working medical staff, and preventing the injured from reaching hospitals, in an act contrary to all human norms and local and international laws, and their invasion of residential neighborhoods and terrorizing citizens inside their homes confirms their lack of every moral scruple.

Therefore, we renew our appeals to all governments, international and regional organizations and bodies, and to the free peoples of the world. To exercise all possible pressures on the brutal coup authority, besiege it and not recognize it, cut off its supply routes and dry up its funding resources, in order to protect our defenseless people in their peaceful revolution aimed at overthrowing the coup and restoring legitimacy and the civil revolution government, we also hold the putschists fully responsible for the safety of all detainees, including the symbols of the legitimate government, leaders and cadres of political parties, members of the resistance committees, and we demand their immediate release.

And we affirm that we are proceeding with determination and firmness with our people on the path of liberation and eternal liberation from the arrogance of totalitarianism and restoring legitimacy without negotiation, partnership, or bargaining with the murderous putschists, in order to complete the goals of the glorious revolution, clinging to the tested and successful weapon of peace, draining the coup authority through more millions, processions, political strikes and civil disobedience and everything determined by the resistance committees and the field work committees, until their complete overthrow, because repression is the fuel of revolutions, but tyrants do not understand.

Long live our people free and victorious.

Security forces have been attempting to raid Waad hospital, despite knowing that many wounded civilians are being treated and undergoing critical operations.

The coup forces fired tear gas inside the hospital building in total disregard to patients, wounded and medical staff.

In addition, the coup forces have been besieging other hospitals, including Al-Arbaeen hospital, and have been preventing wounded civilians and medical staff from entering the hospital buildings#SudanCoup CCSD affirms that the above abhorrent deeds from security forces are clear violations against basic human rights to life.
