Joint UN Press Release – UN agencies in Sudan reach conflict-affected communities in non-government-controlled areas for first time in a decade (13.06.2021)

United Nations humanitarian agencies have not been able to reach or provide life-saving assistance to support people in the five locations since 2011.

KHARTOUM, Sudan, June 13, 2021 – For the first time in ten years, United Nations humanitarian agencies have been able to access conflict-affected communities in the five non-governmental areas controlled by the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) El Hilu in South Kordofan and Blue Niles states of Sudan.

A series of humanitarian missions to the five isolated enclaves has concluded, just as renewed peace talks between the Government of Sudan and SPLM-N are ongoing in Juba, South Sudan. These five areas have largely been cut-off from support over the last decade and the missions’ findings indicate people are in dire need of improved food security, education, health, and water and sanitation services.

“This response marks a significant breakthrough in humanitarian access and response to conflict-affected communities previously unreached by UN humanitarian assistance. We commend the local efforts to support essential needs during the years of hardship. The humanitarian community in Sudan is calling for increased access and critically needed assistance to support these marginalized communities,” said Khardiata Lo N’diaye, Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary General and Resident Coordinator/Humanitarian Coordinator in Sudan.

United Nations humanitarian agencies have not been able to reach or provide life-saving assistance to support people in the five locations since 2011, when conflict broke out between the Government of Sudan and the SPLM-N. Gaining humanitarian access to these communities provides a critical opportunity to improve lives and rebuild livelihoods.

“Communities in these areas have been struggling and surviving on little or nothing for a decade. Access for humanitarian agencies so they can increase their assistance to these vulnerable communities is critical. With improved food security and other opportunities, families will be able to reintegrate with the rest of Sudan and start to recover and rebuild,” said Eddie Rowe, United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) Country Director in Sudan.

WFP delivered 100 metric tons of nutritious biscuits for 25,000 school children in 83 schools on the five missions. This was the first assistance that people in these isolated areas had received from the UN in the last decade due to conflict and access constraints. A lack of food for students is one of the main challenges Page 2 of 3 in maintaining school enrolment in these isolated areas. Providing school meals is among the top priorities for WFP’s response as access continues to open.

“Whilst these missions mark a major development, we need to ensure that humanitarian access to children and communities in need is always granted. No conditions should ever be set on access; humanitarian assistance should be provided at all times and from all places to those that need it. Findings from this mission are bleak. These children have been entirely ‘left behind’. We have to act now to ensure these children have a future. Collectively, efforts must be made to ensure access and sustain and scale up assistance,” said Abdullah Fadil, UNICEF Representative in Sudan.

Expanding humanitarian access to SPLM-N controlled enclaves is crucial to providing urgent assistance to an estimated 800,000 people in these areas, who desperately need relief following years of isolation. Ramping up support will help stabilize communities and pave the path for peacebuilding efforts, while reinforcing the UN’s commitment to assist marginalised populations in Sudan.

The UN World Food Programme (WFP), the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) participated in missions over the last six weeks to five isolated areas in SPLM-N El Hilu controlled areas including Zozak and Amora in Blue Nile State and Kau/Nyaro, Rashad/New Tegali, and Western Jebels in South Kordofan State.

Project Muhoozi Chapter II: Appointed as the CDF [today’s biggest rumour]

As the days go by and the rumours are spiralling out that Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerubaga, the commander of the Special Forces Command (SFC) and the Senior Presidential Advisor have been elevated again and appointed to become the Commander of Defence Forces (CDF). This is after former CDF David Muhoozi has gotten a Ministerial Post in the current cabinet.

The pendulum is slowing turning in the direction of the son of the President. His getting a bigger and bigger role. It is like his aspiring and turning more vital in the National Resistance Movement and in government in general. His been on sidelines, gotten training and had his strides. He has ordered the guns on the streets and was also involved in the massacre in Kasese. Therefore, he knows how to order death and assault citizens for political gains. That’s what he does.

The son will be as brutal as the father and he doesn’t care. His entitled to everything. If he becomes the CDF in this term. That is to further his cause. That is initiating the succession and showing the truth behind the “Project Muhoozi”. That Muhoozi is the second coming of Christ and the only saviour of the Nation.

While I doubt people will accept this act of monarchy in a Republic. It isn’t automatic of a son to takeover for a father. There will be answers to this and he doesn’t have the standing of his father either. The tyrant got a solid grip and kept that over the years. The son has a feel social media handlers and paid bloggers. However, they will not shell out love, unless they are getting paid and securing their future.

The son has already rose up high in ranks because his the son. Not because his a great general or a good army commander. He has gotten a bigger role and upgraded unit or army port-folio because of the President. His been respected because his part of the first family. Still, it is not like his anyone or anybody with flair, policies or anything to offer.

His just a name and a title. An entitled brat who has gotten life with a silver-spoon and learned how to polish gun-barrels and shoot with rifles. If he becomes the CDF. That’s just a further proof of the slow roll-out of Project Muhoozi and the succession after Yoweri. The state can deny that and the ones in-charge of the propaganda. However, the actions and his meteorical rise in the past. Just shows how real this is and what efforts is being made in his favour.

Nobody else with such a record and past would be considered to run the CDF. It is only because his the son and it shows that family matters more then credibility or ability to govern itself. They have just hand-picked him because of his family ties and prepare him to become President. Museveni was the Minister of Defence before he rebelled. So, it seems like a plan and strategically put him there.

To be able to quell anyone who dares to oppose this regime and have a loyal commander on top. That will do the dirty laundry, because he will profit of it and earn massively when his time comes.

Project Muhoozi never dies, but continues to be alive. Peace.

Opinion: Museveni please carry your own cross

When Jesus started his movement, there were intellectuals like the Pharisees. But, Jesus went for the fishermen. So, when you see my [Cabinet] list, know that I am in the path of Jesus” – President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni (10.06.2021)

If President is on the path of Jesus. He better start following him too. Not only live a lavish of selfish interests. Jesus didn’t care about wealth or enrichment. He was even telling in his speeches, that it was the hardest for the ones with wealth to get to heaven. Therefore, if Museveni is on the path of Christ. He should donate and give up his estates, wealth and all his earthly possessions.

However, Jesus isn’t a killer either. His the saviour and the one who died for all of mankind’s sin. He worked to make life better and be the way to heaven. The President is the ones that takes life, misuse his office and corrupts his fellow peers. It is not like his a forgiving man. No, he rebukes, attacks and wants to crush his enemies. That is not life of Jesus.

So, there is so much evidence that Museveni isn’t on the path of Christ. There is no proof of a salvation or a saving grace. This old man doesn’t even give people mercy or relief. He is a crook and a charlatan. To be clear, Museveni is the false prophets and the ones the bible warns about. The type that comes in sheep’s clothing, but is a wolf. That’s the sort of man Museveni is…

Museveni isn’t on the path of Christ. His a lying man and not speaking the truth. The Pharisees wanted to get rid of Jesus and was worried about his standing. As people gathered to listen to the wisdom and the teachings of Jesus. That’s why they looked for any reason to crucify him. Which in the end they we’re able too.

This is why Jesus carried the cross and died for mankind. Which is the ultimate sacrifice. Take a life to give life to others. Museveni isn’t even making sure hospitals are furnished, nurses paid, doctors in order and equipment to function properly. That is to use the state to help people in need and affordable health-care. However, the President is preoccupied finding the next get-rich-scheme for him and his associates. That’s not the life of Christ. No, that’s the life of a crook and a liar.

Museveni and his kind is a false prophet. He maybe have picked some fishermen to his cabinet. Though, he does it for his selfish interests and not for the betterment of the Republic. That ship has sailed. Just like the false liberation of the Republic has been in force for so long now.

If he wants to follow Jesus. Museveni should start to carry his cross. He should seek redemption and take responsibility for his heinous acts over the years. The President should worry about hell and the possible punishment for his sins. Museveni should beg for forgiveness to the public, to God and stop using Jesus.

Museveni isn’t a noble man, neither is a righteous man. His a tyrant and a warlord. The President has ordered death and destruction upon others. To stay in power and consolidate power. That’s who he is and his conning at doing it too.

That is not the life of a man who is there to save and give hope. That is the life of greed and envy. He is using his office for his own pockets and not to help others. The others his helping is just to further his pay-off or get a envelope later. There is nothing holy about that.

So, please Museveni carry your own cross. It is your turn. Peace.
