Liberia: Movement for Accountability, Transparency & Equality in Margibi County (MATCM) – Press Statement (17.06.2021)

It is now official that Dott Services will have a majority of the roads that’s getting upgraded in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The Dott Services was awarded 60% funding to it. While the Ugandan state will have another 20% and the Democratic Republic of Congo has another 20%. So, a private company has 60% and the governments has 40%. That says a lot.
Yesterday, the Presidents officiate the road development project and the joint cooperation of the nations. Where the Ugandan government is spending billions of shillings on this. To a company awarded the building of it without any tenders out or open bidding. This was a operation and deal written behind closed doors.
Dott Services will be in-charge and honour this agreement to upgrade three roads. These are Kasindi-Beni (85 Km); Beni-Butembo (54 km) and Bunagana-Rutsuru-Goma (89 km).
We know these constructions and such will be shoddy. They will be a cash-grab. There will be no accountability and the funds will go missing. The Dott Services have gotten off the hook and lack of due diligence.
The government funds put into this will be lost. At one point or another. The quality of the works will be shoddy. The roads will have issues before the gravel is actually put. Don’t expect magic, but a disregard of accountability, as well as calling it a “smear campaign” and such.
Dott Services is shielded by the Gods. They are allowed to operate without any real scrutiny. Not expect the roads to be built. If it is… it will take years and years. The roads will take forever and the company will need additional funds. The equipment will be lacking and there will be mismanagement.
So, don’t expect this project to be great. When you are giving it to a company like Dott Services. Expect it to end in a tragedy. The UNRA couldn’t even keep their head above water with this company. How do you think the DRC authorities will struggle with this? Why does President Tshisekedi accept this and not a respectable company? Or is it because the Ugandans are paying for the party and he gets it for free?
We can wonder, but this shouldn’t be celebrated. It is a scandal in the making. This is public wastage of funds and nothing good will come out of this. That’s because the states has allowed Dott Services to be the main company working with this. Peace.

“Let’s get this straight: How would it be if the United States were viewed by the rest of the world as interfering with the elections directly of other countries, and everybody knew it? What would it be like if we engaged in activities that he is engaged in? It diminishes the standing of a country that is desperately trying to make sure it maintains its standing as a major world power” – President Joe Biden (16.06.2021).
The United States government have over the years used their power, their might and ability to get puppets and friendly government elected. If not, they have overthrown peacefully elected people to get in leaders who are working directly for Washington D.C.
The US has interfered not only during elections, but after to get their leaders in office. The CIA and other organizations in proxy have intervened. The U.S. have spared any sort of resorts and resources on getting their people in power. This being in Latin America where the U.S. have installed their regimes and they have been working for corporate American interests.
That being Haiti, Nicaragua, Guatamala, Chile, Bolivia and so on. The list is endless. Some are saying the U.S. has interfered in 45 countries since the Second World War. The U.S. installed their puppet in Zaire, the now Democratic Republic of Congo after they helped to assassinate the elected President Patrice Lumumba. That’s how the DRC had decades of despotic rule with Mobutu.
That’s how the U.S. rolls and works. They are using their power and might. They have their agents and their front-organizations to dismantle and ensure their interests are secured on foreign soil. The U.S. doesn’t value democratic values, they only value US dollars and profitable enterprises run by U.S. corporations.
So, when President Biden says what he says. Does he think we forget about Bolivia during Trump and the failed “Wonga” coup of Venezuela? Like does he think we are this dumb or naive?
That we don’t know what the U.S. has done and have been willing to do? Like installing the Shah in Iran and making it a pariah state after the Iranian revolution leading to his fall. That’s just what the U.S. does and leaves behind open wounds. The likes of supporting interventions in nations like Libya, but not having a clear path after overthrowing a President-for-Life Gadaffi. Therefore, Biden should take a step back and maybe have a few history lessons.
The U.S. has a history of using their army, organizations and the CIA has been implicated in overthrowing governments. The U.S. have been involved in coups and in election interference to get their folks in power. To think otherwise is to revise history and forget what the U.S. has done over the years.
The U.S. has installed and secured their interests above all else. They have later preached “democracy” and “liberty”. Though it has been hallow and shallow, as we all know why they did this in the first place. That was to get their value for their US dollars in that Republic. This is the gist of it and its no joke.
Biden please take responsibility. This is not funny. We know and you should know. The U.S. have exported its imperialism over the years. Time to take responsibility and be accountable. Not only think flattery and words like these will skim over it. I hate to say it, but it won’t.
We know what the U.S. has done and been committed to do. I wouldn’t be shocked, if suddenly Biden took down someone who would turn to Russia/China anytime soon. Instead of being loyal to Washington. Peace.
