There is just a certain amount of pressure, a certain amount of injustice, impunity and devastation the public can get accustomed too. The Prosperity Party and their allies can arrest, detain and fill the courts with bogus charges on all dissident, on all opposition. However, that doesn’t make it all true.
It is done so the man can hold a sham election. Where all his opponents are lingering behind bars. Where they cannot stand, as they are treacherous human beings. They are the filth of the earth. The scum and the ones who bring harm. While, in the end. The ones who is ordering the soldiers, the armed law-enforcement isn’t the ones behind bars, but the man in office.
The Prince, the unsolicited king, the emperor without any clothes. Because, the man is naked. His vicious attempt of control. Seize all parts of the state. Make money transactions illegal, create an own counterfeit market within the Nation. That is what he does.
While labelling the leaders of the opposition as terrorists. Saying their acts are devious and insincere. They are in cahoots to topple his reign. To be fair, the only one brining it down is his own self. Because, the power, the arms and the ones in-charge are letting him go off the handles.
Using violence in Oromia, Ogaden and elsewhere. Ensuring the fear, the intimidation and the use of extra judicial killings. Arbitrary arrests and state sanctioned violence against his own. Since, this leadership doesn’t have the respect of the public, but only have the guns.
This Prime Minister was supposed to come in peace, but he come with guns. Abiy wants so badly to be great. He wants his image to be glorious, alas his deprecated actions will linger forever. That he uses the same means of the forefathers. The same means of state violence and law enforcement to silence dissidents. Throwing them in cages, in dungeons and letting them rot. That is what does.
Uses the offices, the riches and the wealth of his throne to live lavish. Have parties and significant development projects, but the people are not feeling it. The policies are skin-deep and only one con after the other. The man only wants praise and glory, but don’t want to put the work-in.
Abiy wants so badly to be noble, wants so hard to be respected and honoured. Alas, his just a thief. Stealing the time, the lives and the opportunities of others. Coming with a message of hope, but only delivering harm. Speaking of glory, but coming with defeat. Singing a tune of salvation, but only brining death. That is what this man does for a living.
Prime Minister Abiy is living on borrowed time. The time he cannot find funds to pay his soldiers. The moment law enforcement is left behind. The moment the state doesn’t see value in him and the protests escalates into a manner. Where the arms, the soldiers and the state cannot hold. Then he will have lost it. The moment his backers, the foreign policy makers see his ills, see the brutality and the murderous regime. Then they might drop him too. So, that he will walk alone.
He got the praise to early, he looked to promising, but it was all a lie. He lived on a lie. Now the whole Nation has to suffer. The Prime Minister is acting like a brutal king. The unjust king and the man of the hammer. The man who will punish the ones who stands in his way. Even if it is all bogus, all fake and not true. Still, he will do so and ensure that the ones who are against him. Will suffer! Peace.
