On April 11, the brave people of Sudan through their determined and principled call for change removed a President who had headed a brutal regime for 30 years. A new Transitional Military Council was formed on April 13, after the people decisively rejected the initial military leadership who had a close association with the former regime.
The new leader of the Transitional Military Council has pledged to turn over power to a civilian government. However, at this point, the constitution is suspended and parliament dissolved. To date, the legitimate change that the Sudanese people are demanding has not been achieved. It is vital that that the authorities listen to the calls from the Sudanese people. Most pressingly, the continuing peaceful protests must not be met with violence from any quarter. Sudan needs an orderly transition to civilian rule leading to elections in a reasonable time frame.
It is time for the Transitional Military Council and all other parties to enter into an inclusive dialogue to effect a transition to civilian rule. This must be done credibly and swiftly, with protest leaders, political opposition, civil society organizations, and all relevant elements of society, including women, who are willing to participate. We also call on the Transitional Military Council to meet the needs of all people of Sudan by ensuring humanitarian access to all areas of Sudan.
Sudan needs a political system that is inclusive, respectful of human rights and the rule of law, and supported by a sound constitutional basis. We call on the Transitional Military Council to take the steps necessary to build confidence with the people by adhering to its pledge to release all political prisoners. We condemn any acts of violence by legacy forces of the former regime, such as the Popular Defense Forces, the Popular Police Forces, and other militias. We urge Sudan’s new leadership to take the steps necessary to build domestic and international support to help resolve Sudan’s many pressing challenges.

“But the reason I think that many of us knew that this was going to get worse is that we finally had a leader in the White House who publicly says Islam hates us, who fuels hate against Muslims, who thinks it is OK to speak about a faith and a whole community in a way that is dehumanizing, vilifying” (…) “Some people like me know that he understands the consequences. He knows that there are people that he can influence to threaten our lives, to diminish our presence” – Rep. Ilhan Omar on the 10th April 2019
U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar is one of the persons, one of the representatives that represents everything the President of United States isn’t. She represent the ones who came through poverty, immigrated and made a new life in the United States. That is why she is idol and also a figure of amassed power. Because, she is the living proof of the hope and ability of immigrants and refugees in the United States. Everything, this administration is working against and wants to stop.
Rep. Omar has again and again since her time in office, as a Representative from Minnesota. Shown character and courage. Shown force when explaining the misuse of power and the lack of oversight in the role of Israeli investment and diplomatic unity between the American Government and Israeli counterparts. That was called anti-Semitism, when it was really just questioning the powers to be and their affiliation with a foreign force. Still, because of her personality, her religion and her heritage. That became giant issue.
Again, she is under-fire for the same reason. Because of who she is, not because of what she stands for or working towards. No, the political work and her statements are shining examples of the American Dream, of the unity and the diversity of the United States. However, the President and the Republican Party, prefer scaremongering and silencing tactic towards the ones who works for diverse republic. The ones that is actually working for the what the Republic has been known for, to be welcoming and friendly to all religions, creeds and ethnic groups to immigrate there.
She was stating all of this in a manner that wasn’t offensive, wasn’t wrong, but just wanting the United States, to be what it is known for. To let people enter the Republic and try to achieve the American Dream. By following immigration law or the rights as asylum-seekers. That is well-known.
Rep. Omar is an inspiration and someone that gives hope to the world. People are taking things out of context and beating it up. Because she fits as someone you can use as a target. The President and the GOP does it steady with her. Especially since she got the courage to co-sponsor a bill, which attacks and directly stops one of the big executive orders of this presidency. That is why they are attacking her, because she defends the end of the Muslim Ban and the direct ban of entering of certain nationalities.
There is time for a change, there is a time for the equality and justice, not just white supremacy rule, where the fringe ideas became policy. That is what has happen and now that the democrats have control of the House. The Republicans and their control of the Capitol Hill is challenged and sometimes can even hang the Congress.
I’ll stand by Ilhan Omar and her cause, which will change the United States for the better. Peace.

The problems I have are more than the 400 million the President gave to artists, I’m paying mortgages…I also have a right to do what I want, I know Besigye, I know Amama but my man is Museveni” – Jose Chameleone 24th October 2015
Musician Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleone has for years performed for National Resistance Movement functions and campaigns. Chameleone done so since at least 2010 in Kabale, when he did it for the NRM Flag-bearer. He was also a major part of the musical acts who performed on concerts before the Presidential Campaigns of 2015 and in 2016. Therefore, by his actions, we know his a loyalist of the President.
Why do I say this, well, he launched his Mayoral Candidacy in Kampala for the upcoming General Election 2021. The NRM tried the same tactic with Gen. Salim Selah’s friend Daniel Kazibwe aka Ragga Dee, who ran as Mayoral Candidate in the General Election in 2016. So, Kampala have seen this sort of actions done by the NRM. This is a populist way of trying to cover all bases.
However, Chameleone have been a Museveni for so long. He sent him a congratulation message after the General Election in 2016. In this manner, his been similar to Bebe Cool, whose is also a vocal supporter of the President. So, if you think Jose will sway away from this, it is just for show. Because, his been eating the NRM Money and campaigned for the President for so long. Even said his been humbled by greeting the President. Therefore, don’t expect him to deep digging into the politics, as his been paid millions of shillings to perform for the ruling regime.
Even if Chameleone runs as an Independent, his is NRM in action and spirit. This should be known, even if the launch of yesterday are not proving a manifesto or any sort of pledge of what he wants to do. Surely, he just want to be a populist major for the ruling party, instead of someone whose representing the citizens of Kampala like Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago. That is why the NRM needs candidates like this to even try to challenge him.
Don’t expect Captain Francis Babu to repeat failure again. Maybe, even Ragga Dee want to challenge Chameleone. But we don’t know, if the NRM Primaries going to down before the upcoming elections.
Don’t expect the likes of me to celebrate a candidate like this. His a screwed and loyal ways to the President. Chameleone will be a selfish leader, whose there only for own gains. That is why his defending his part of the previous campaign, as a monetary gain to earn a living. While, he is initially a big supporter of Museveni. I haven’t heard him or seen any writing confessing to think otherwise.
If, you support this man, your indirectly supporting the President. That is an FYI. Peace.

This is not surprising. This is steady business for the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) as they where scheduled to meet the FDC leaders of Busoga region in Jinja. To hold a FDC Leadership Conference there, as a part of the ACTION2019 campaign. We know that the Police Force is attacking this party directly, as they have done over years.
Today, the Police Force arrested Dr. Kizza Besigye as he was trying to address the public on-air on the Radio Kira. Where they took him out and also switched off the signal of the radio station. This is what the authorities does to the FDC.
Today was filled with running battles between them, while the Police Force used weapons and tear-gas. The public stood behind the FDC. In a manner, that people could admire. As the Police tried to take the car of Besigye and tow it away. However, the supporters actually took it away from the Police.
What the Police succeeding in doing in Jinja, other than hurting innocent civilians, stopping ordinary business order of the town and ensuring the continued hardships of the FDC. They initially stopped Besigye and blocking many of the FDC central leadership from meeting the leaders of Busoga as scheduled today. And hold the FDC Conference as planned ahead of time.
However, to do internal party conference in Uganda shouldn’t be this hard. The FDC cannot even do internal party work without meeting the Police Force or getting arrested.
This shows the intent of the authorities and how they behave. Even the President can start a rally without any forewarning in a round-about in Kampala, while the opposition parties have to beg to meet or even greet the public on local radios. That is evident yet again.
The is democracy, the NRM Way. Peace.

In Addis Ababa, there must be several of the loyalist in and around Prime Minister Ahmed Ali Abiy has come out with statement and wish for all parties of the Coalition of Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Defence Force(EPRDF), which is a political coalition made out of Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), Oromo Democratic Party (ODP), Amhara Democratic Party (ADP) and the Southern Ethiopian People’s Democratic Movement (SEPDM). All of these are working together, even if the Woyane or the TPLF have had the upper-hand in the coalition. This is well-known and with the OPD at the helm. That has still not stopped.
This is why, the current stalemate and the issues within the Federal Democratic Republic becomes more dire. As the political achievements are put into questions, as the Prime Minister knows how to say the right things, but doesn’t act upon it. What is striking and worrying is the internal battles between the ethnic groups in Ogaden, Oromia, Amhara and so on. That these persists and the state isn’t issuing statements of security or even securing the citizens, whose ending up in cross-fire. Therefore, the ambition of the PM should be to regain peace and prosperity and not just become an initial one-party state.
This seems to be his main goal, to take away the hassle of multi-party coalition in favour of one party rule. As it has seemed like, but he is taking away that to ensure, that he doesn’t have to comply to other forces within the coalition, as they would be directly one organization instead. It is smart, but certainly, the ones finding themselves as minorities will feel squeezed in this.
TPLF Statement:
“In its statement, TPLF in no uncertain terms believes, 1) the coming national election must be held as planned, 2) the planned transformation of EPRDF in to a single party is unattainable and makes no sense now when the main four EPRDF members are not seeing eye to eye on many issues, 3) the country is at risk of disintegrating, better late than never to go back to the tested EPRDF way of governing, 4)TPLF is saddened to know the Ethiopia that used to be peacemaker in many other countries is today begging for helping hand to restore its own peace., 5) TPLF is bemused to hear the government is thinking to invite outsiders to keep peace in the country. 6) TPLF call on all peace loving people to join its forthcoming effort to restore law and order and democratic governance in the country!” (TPLF, 12.04.2019)
EPRDF Council Meeting:
“Addis Ababa, April 12, 2019 (FBC) –The Council of the Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) will hold its regular session as of next Monday. According to a statement issued by the Council, the meeting is to discuss current national agendas and evaluate organizational performances of the Front over the past months.” (Fana BC – ’EPRDF Council To Meet Next Monday’ (12.04.2019).
We can even see the power-block, the ruling elite and the greatest obstacle to a one-party movement, instead of coalition is the TPLF. The ones who is known to control and also manipulate it to their advantage. That is why this is a rare moment of history. Where a reforming Prime Minister, someone who tries to make a difference. Failing at it, but still trying within the parameter of his power. As he is one of them and knows the system.
What is striking in the game of trying to forge a one-party political movement. Even as the EPRDF have allowed the Oromo Liberation Front and other former illegal opposition movements to partly operate. They are still not viable in the political spectrum. So, before the next election to make the Coalition into ONE-PARTY, would in some spheres ensure a one-party state. As the others cannot compete or have the ability to be seen. Since, they are minor players and the ERPDF have the whole state machinery behind them.
That is why I am shocked that the TPLF doesn’t want to do this. It would be a WIN-WIN, though the TPLF emblem and superiority would be a fraction of the party and not an separate controlling entity. That is maybe their fear of becoming second fiddle and losing their codes of conduct. Therefore, they cannot muster support for a One-Party vision.
This is good for Ethiopia to have more parties, more people possible representing them. That should not be on ethnic lines, because that is just stirring pot of trouble. A kettle already boiling and internal conflicts spiralling out of control. That is why the Republic is faced with a million internally displaced people. This should be a warning to the authorities, that their policies and their vision is distorted, as so many people are struggling to live in their homes and in their homestead.
Surely, the TPLF and the Woyane want all control. That is not new, the ODP trying to get more balance of power, as well as possibly the others in the coalition. However, this might just be another play for the facade, just to look like the coalition is moving somewhere. As the EPRDF have been more cautious about peace missions in the region, than securing the internal conflicts. This should be the priority. To ensure the villages, the homes and the lives of citizens who are endangered and with security organizations not shielding their homes and lives. However, that is second fiddle in the battle of power in Addis, which is apparently, more important than changing the lives of ordinary citizens. Peace.
