“Don’t call me a thief, I am saying this for the last time, don’t call me a thief, I have people who I killed who I don’t even know,” – Dexter Nduna MP
I don’t know if Dexter Nduna, the Chegutu MP, the Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF) noble and representative said in Parliament, as there was a heated discussion on Monday, the 11th of February 2019.
What is striking how easy it was for the man to say this, that he had killed. That he says he is responsible to taken lives, that he doesn’t even know. That means subjectively, that there are plenty of people, which he have killed without people knowing. Also, that he has gotten away with it too.
Also, should be said, is that MP in question is known for using violence as an election tactic. Meaning, he has fired shots during primary elections and sponsoring it for his cause, himself. Therefore, him saying he has killed someone or somebody. Might, even be an understatement, because who knows what he did during the election campaigns in 2008 and 2013. To be elected and get in office.
Therefore, who knows what he has done and sponsored on his road, in elections and in Chegutu constituency, as he boosted so strongly about on Monday. We can clearly, see and state, that there is more to follow and there should be an investigation.
Because, the man, has a problem with thieving, but not issues with murder. Nduna has at least not pulled off the perfect crime, because he cannot keep it tight. His lips are far from sealed, when he get into an intense argument. However, these words shows to what extent, that he does to get in power. To what extent he will go, to get his way.
It is chilling and cold-blooded. Just like when the President is deflecting and saying, he needs evidence for the sinister acts during the shutdown this year. We can see a party, who promotes and who has no scruples. They are a den of thieves, crooks and killers, who are congregating in the halls of power. Instead of sealed of cells and in secrecy.
What is clear, even as vicious and vindictive the man is, he is not the brightest. Because, these words that was said, was recorded and went viral. They opens up a can of worms and he to answer for those. We knows, that ZANU-PF shields their own, but for how long, when someone as toxic as this hangs around. Peace.

“Rumors are ripe that am going to be appointed VP; that that’s the reason Pres M7 was hosted by Kabaka Mutebi at Banda Palace so the President might brief the King. I am not the next VP. Iam carrying out my duties as entrusted to me by the Kabaka. I don’t do under table deals. CPM” (Charles Peter Mayiga, 11.02.2019).
Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga has shown finesse and also strength. There been speculations in what was happening within the meeting between Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. The meeting was held this 5th February 2019, it is seen as event , that is happening because of the upcoming General Election in 2021. As the President wants to ensure all his allies are with him and that powerful ones on his side. This is typical him, as he offers money, pledge land-back and whatever else. As it is a trade for loyalty.
Therefore, there are known of some financial implications of the meetings, as the grievances of the theft of Kingdom’s land and other aspects. Has made the President work hasty, as he wants to settle it and look good in the eyes of the Kingdom. Yoweri wants Ronald to not be a voice or renegade against him. Since, he is one who gotten his place back because of him and also his lost titles. If not compensation of the lost land titles. That is if, the NRM and the Ministry of Finance can find the funds to do so.
Whatever this shows is the way that the government manoeuvrer in the time before an election. Try to reign in all, to get all the ducks in a row and make the roads shine. In the meantime, the President can let everything go and eat. While right before an election, he needs to show effort and let other get some scraps too.
What has been special is the rumours and promise of giving the Buganda Prime Minister or Katikkiro Mayiga the role as Vice-President beneath himself. That the President might appoint him, as a token of loyalty to the Kingdom, as the special place it has in the Republic.
If the Katikkiro would get this role, he would be sort of like King Freddie, who was President between October 9, 1962 to March 2, 1966. By all means, King Freddie had actual power in his office as President and King. While, the Katikkiro would be a noble-men, with a high-office, but we all know. That Vice-President Edward Ssekandi is an important as a grape-fruit. He is a nice trophy, but not something you take utter seriously or of vast importance. There are usually more swagger in the Prime Ministers, that the President has appointed. Therefore, the Katikkiro would be a big-man with a office, but not doing anything profound. Because, when did Ssekandi do something magnificent or revolutionary, did something or said something that was worth damn? Well, that never happen. The same would be the role of the Katikkiro.
Katikkiro would play second fiddle and be one of the cronies within the administration of Museveni. He would be nothing else. So, if this was offered to him, it would have been done to show loyalty to the Kingdom and the King. As his men would be directly in the sphere of power. As the President needs the support of this, as the President knows the growing dissidents within the Kingdom against him. The opposition and the ones behind Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine are from this. Therefore, it would been a smart move of the President. He is conning enough to do this.
What we can take from this, that the Kabaka has a loyal servant, who he has appointed and the President got snubbed. Peace.

“Regime change is the better word it is a regime change agenda, which is not new …which has been a phenomenon visiting Zimbabwe throughout the last 18 years” – Emmerson Mnangagwa, (10.02.2019)
President Emmerson Mnangagwa at France24 TV Interview on the 10th February 2019 is now showing the true capacity, the ability and the spin, that the President is busy doing. That Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF) is busy trying to change the narrative is natural. That the President want to spin and control the news is also natural. Still, that doesn’t make his stories true.
That the President, who knows perfectly well, what the army and police has done. A President that did the crackdown on the civil societies, the opposition and civilians as a result of the shutdown. The brutality and atrocities, where the amounts of dead, amounts of people shot, detained and even harassed, the rapes and whatnots has shown the sinister side of the ZANU-PF reign. However, he wants to act like it is cool and dandy, that the men and woman, who fears the authorities, are supposed to post-up at the Police Station and deliver evidence of the brutality and if they don’t. then it doesn’t count. That is initially, what the President said in his interview.
“This is where the army is directly and purposely killing people we would want to see evidence we see all this in social media. But we would want to see evidence where the 17 people were killed. Where were they buried” – Mnangagwa, 10.02.2019
It is like he is saying, the dead isn’t deceased, since it isn’t recorded. The dead, the ones who is buried, he doesn’t have faith in it. Just like he claims the rapes are staged woman who play for the NGOs and the Foreign Media, Social Media to be paraded. That is the Executive, that is the Head of State, that is the man, people are supposed to look up to is saying. The man that is supposed to shelter and secure the rights of these people. Instead the digs their grave, spit on their weak bodies and says he needs proof. That is the sort of President Mnangagwa is.
It is just sickening, how somebody can try to spin these tragedies and these actions against civilians. Certainly, he would not recall or recollect those acts. As he was busy flying in Eastern Europe, before returning home before his scheduled Davos trip. However, it still appeared, the stories and videos have been leaked. The show of aggression in midst of a media blackout, have shown the sinister acts of ZANU-PF. Even if the President tries to overshadow and look smart.
Instead, he looks like a man, who tries to play smart to Foreign Media, but falls flat. As he serves propaganda, dances on the dead bodies and the ones hurt by the crackdown and grins, as if it was nothing to begin with. That is how it look. That is what it seems and it’s beautiful.
No, it’s ugly and despicable. Mnangagwa are maybe able to fool the naïve, the ones who is not bright and the ones who eat the whole Kool-Aid. The ones who is not lost in the PFee will see past this, as we remembered the reports, the videos and the leaked stories. They are not fairy tales, but sad stories of today’s bleak reality. Peace.
