EFF Statement on Forensic Report Outcomes on VBS Mutual Bank (10.10.2018)

Hexed: “Describes a state of confusion or loss of any sort of common sense” (Urban Dictionary, 19.12.2013).
There are something fishy, every time a Republic where the results takes forever since the polls, you know it is made to secure the incumbent and the party that is currently reigning. In this regard in Cameroon, this meaning the continues reign for President Paul Biya. Who are using all tricks in the book, even when some parts there wasn’t really even elections. In the Anglophone parts, there was more ghosts towns and silence. Not running to the ballots.
While that was happening, the authorities has been busy bodies, making sure there was fake Transparency International and Amnesty International Election Observers, which both organizations has said never existed. They was plain fiction made by the Presidents Men. So, that it would legit, when everyone knows the value of this election. To further on the 36 years long reign of one man, whose mission is to live lavish on the state reserves.
That is why it is scheduled to take 2 weeks to counts the ballots before the announced results. There are already one opponent that has claimed to be the victor, this being Cameroon Renaissance Movement (CRM) Presidential Candidate Maurice Kamto. Who has already asked for peaceful transition. However, there are nothing seemingly changing and the lack of movement are showing the state are moving as normal.
That the international community and African Union calls for restraint is revealing how little care it is for the elections and the state of affairs. As the Southern Cameroon has been burning and daily killings of civilians, either by mercenaries or soldiers on orders from Yaounde. This is clearly showing that the anglophone is dying in a zip-code that doesn’t matter. Neither does their leaders that is lingering in jail as terrorists, while their homes are burned to the ground or turned into ghost towns, as the governors are ordering curfews and other measures to totally control all movement within the territory. This is like the anglophone is under occupation. Since, they are acting as the colonial masters over the region. That is why Sisiku Ayuk Tabe and the other 8 leaders of Ambazonia are scheduled for military court after being incommunicado for since 5th January 2018.
This is why even the anglophone leaders who are still out and about, was telling their citizens not vote, as this was voting for a foreign force. As the French Cameroon was having a hostile takeover of Ambazonia, which is proven every day in the region of the anglophone.
Therefore, the internal conflict combined with a shambolic election, a fraud of an election, which is only there to stamp the ballots and secure another term for the life presidency. That is why Biya had this election. This is why the President has hired foreign lobbyist, foreign agents to acts as observers and tried to do everything to look legitimate. When the reality is everything else.
Most likely, the sham… is obvious and the ghost president is playing with the Republic and awaiting for his new stay at a Swiss Hotel as the Swearing-In Ceremony is done. Than, the issues of foreign questioning his legitimacy is done and he can move along with his ordinary eating. Clearly, he just wants to move-on. But will the Republic accept that, that the Ghost gets to continue to rule?
Peace.

Today, because of a sudden change of power and lack of progress, the authorities ensured the capital of Ethiopia was without Internet. That was because the soldiers of the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) strike at the Menelik Palace, as the Prime Minister Dr. Ali Abiy Ahmed (Oromo Democratic Party (ODP) and Deputy Prime Minister Demeke Mekonnen (Amhara National Democratic Movement), which is part of the political coalition Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Force (EPRDF). That is the one who controls it with its parties and leaderships, that the EPRDF Council of Ministers are where the final say, as the National Assembly are rubber-stamping their agenda usually. The EPRDF have usually also solved their internal troubles by keeping people down or groups of people with the guns. That is why today is significant as the ENDF has reacted against their leadership and settled down with guns around the Menelik Palace.
We know this is serious and the ENDF are reacting to their lack of the pay raises for the soldiers. Many of the ones who was protesting in-front of the Palace today, was the Red-Berrets or the Agazi Squad. The ones who has been ordered to quell protests in Oromia and Amhara in the recent years. The are the ones that is called upon as the trained soldiers of the Republic.
This is not a sign of strength, as the military men in fatigue, the capital filled with them in the streets and the government shutting down the internet. Are showing to all parts of the world, that they are not as strong and secure it at some point has seemed. Since, the Aghazi has now entered the gates and negotiated directly with Deputy Prime Minister while at the Menelik Palace in Addis Ababa in an unscheduled meeting.
What was negotiated other than salary increases and whatnot, isn’t easy to know, as the minutes and the agenda of the meeting wasn’t following any protocol. What we do know is that it went down, put the authorities on alert and was enough reason for an internet black-out. Like they have done in any area they have pushed for state emergency and the need for Agazi Squad to quell any protest. Therefore, the EPRDF under the new leadership follows the pattern of the past without a doubt.
We know it is serious when Fitsum Arega writes this on Twitter:
“HE PM Abiy Ahmed listened to the grievances carefully, reprimanded them for the wrong procedure they followed to express those grievances, but concluded the meeting with a promise to meet properly in the near future to positively consider their demands” (Fitsum Arega, 10.10.2018).
We knew this wasn’t the ordinary way, but we neither knows if the PM and Deputy would have listen to their grievances if they did file in the right paperwork. As the EPRDF have been more preoccupied with keeping power, than servicing the public. That is why there been so much protest over the recent years. Which the army has been used and therefore, there are huge amount of internally displaced people within the Republic.
There will be more to this and what really went down. We don’t know yet as the initial agreement isn’t released and neither the total reason for the Aghazi squad to strike at the Menelik Palace. This wouldn’t happen if they didn’t feel unjustly treated by the government. But this is also showing how powerful the feet is and how little the need for protocol is. Therefore, we might expect more of this, until people are able to eat and not faring the authorities anymore. Peace.

Friends, Foes and frenemies, it has been long since we last communicated. I must profoundly aver that life has not been easy especially in the period between now and the 13th day of August, 2018 when we were attacked by miscreant beings from SFC.
These guys battered me excessively to the extent that my body could no longer feel the pain, I think that after failing to kill me during the “Togikwatako” Saga, they thought that another opportunity had presented itself to them to completely eliminate me. Well, let’s say they had eliminated me. God forbid! Would that stop the incessant killings in Uganda or it would improve on the health care services in HCs? Would it in anyway construct standard roads or it would arrest the escalating pecuniary difficulties amongst the plebs in Uganda? Kindly enlighten us whether it would solve the conundrum of Corruption, nepotism and sectarianism in our Country? Would that really solve the unresolved Land problem in Uganda? If the answer to any of the above questions is no, then, God will erect many youths reading from the same script as myself, trust me when the late Cerinah Nebanda was brutally murdered, many of us joined the struggle and here we are exactly reading from the same script as her.
Last year, when I had just come back from overseas to seek medical treatment, I recollect making statements as to who has authentication to take away my life and I wish to reecho the same here. It is only God who has capacity to end my life at His will because he authored it and for the same reason, I am grateful to Him that I am now feeling better, no migraines, less pain in the neck and for the scars on my hands, back and other body parts, I shall live with them.
It is a public secret that, Health workers that attended to me in Lubaga Hospital were intimidated during and after my admission in the Lubaga Hospital by the state, but, you guys braved the storm by never relenting. In Mannipal Hospital through Ugandan Embassy, the state of Uganda attempted to conspire and obtain my medical documents but the professional ethics that these medical workers exhibit, made their efforts futile.
The other issue prudent for all to know is that, foreign chemical substances were detected in my body system, perhaps slow killer poison but luckily the specialists managed the situation early by a general body cleansing after which procedure the medics declared that, I am out of danger and that I can now completely heal from home an idea which was highly welcomed because this red pepper can really be boring but most importantly, I miss home. With such declarations, on Thursday 11/10/2018 at exactly Midday, I will be back home and home will be sweet home. I am just waiting for a fit to flight document.
Even though I am yearning for Mityana Municipality, the major challenge that befalls me as of now which I think my People should know is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder comingled with Panic attacks on recollection of events stretching way back from 27/09/2017 during the Togikwatako epoch, lack of balance while walking is also an issue now, I must support myself to walk but the good news is that I am told that after continued Physiotherapy sessions, I can walk again.
With much grief, I take this opportunity to commiserate with those families that lost their beloved ones during demonstrations all over the Country that were intended to demand for our freedom, in Mityana Municipality alone many People died in the hands of the Police which is by law mandated to protect life and property but in lieu resorted to killing innocent and unarmed civilians. That was so unfortunate!
There has been propaganda orchestrated by the state to justify their wrong doing that People Power is a violent group. That is not true, we are non-violent, and we associate ourselves with the principle of Mahatma Gandhi which states that an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind. We can never be violent and never shall we ever be, we have always advised our followers never to be violent because two wrongs can’t make a right. I want to iterate and reiterate here that People Power is never violent and also our People aren’t violent. We are just seeking transfer of power to a generation that will address the current constitutional crisis that befalls us as a Country and we intend to do this with utmost tranquility unless otherwise the state plants a bad group among us. Upon that, I wish to remind our People to be peaceful, we must show good conduct that distinguishes us from them.
Lastly and important, I wish to thank AAR Insurance for meeting my medical bills both in Lubaga Hospital and Mannipal Hospital whose doctors have been so kind to us, I appreciate your professionalism.
Thank you the doctors and all the medical workers of Lubaga Hospital for handling my situation with great care and love, may God bless you
Thank you the People of Uganda for praying with me, I am fine and I am coming home on Thursday this week. When I come I shall answer many unanswered questions by dispelling the myths about my story in Arua and I will surely disclose what exactly happened.
Thank you
Zaake Francis Butebi. MP Mityana Municipality
