Again, the Tories, the Theresa May backed alliance and the United Kingdom ruling party voted against the better judgement on a serious matter. As they have certainly overstepped and also misused their authority, by naming the Windrush Generation as ‘illegals’. They have again proven a point by their rulings within the House of Commons, where the majority of the Tories and their alliance members decided to close the inquiry and also look into the paperwork that has led to the people, whose been living in the kingdom for generation to be sent home. The lack of understanding and also self defence, proves that the Tories are afraid, that this will expose the time when Theresa May was the Secretary of Home Office. That she put forward the agenda, that Amber Rudd continued. Therefore, the Tories are shield the PM, but not the constituents. You really see who matters and who doesn’t in society, when the Tories are shielding themselves, but not opening for the reality of what they did.
Take a look:
“That an humble Address be presented to Her Majesty, that she will be graciously pleased to give directions that the following papers be provided to the Home Affairs Committee: all papers, correspondence and advice including emails and text messages, from 11 May 2010 up to and including 1 May 2018, to and between Ministers, senior officials and Special Advisers relating to policy decisions including on the Immigration Acts 2014 and 2016 with regard the Windrush generation cases, including deportations, detentions and refusal of re-entry, the setting of deportation and removal targets and their effect on the Windrush generation, and action taken within Government following the concerns raised by Caribbean Governments with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office including the original decision by the Prime Minister not to meet Caribbean Heads of Government and officials, and all copies of minutes and papers relating to the Cabinet’s Immigration Implementation Taskforce” (Opposition Day – Windrush Generation Standing Order 9, 02.05.2018).
Because on this matter, it was following the party lines, it was the Conservatives, the Democratic Unionist Party and one independent that voted Noes to it, they we’re a total of 316. While the ones voting Ayes, was the Labour, Green Party, Liberal Democrats, Plaid Cymru, Scottish National Party and they are total of 221. Therefore, the documents get to be behind close doors, unless a whistleblower releases a dossier of information to hurt the agenda of May. Since she is now shielded for her scrupulous activity as the previous Home Secretary.
This is really insane, that the Tories are shielding the Prime Minister over the lives of people whose whole life has been in the United Kingdom, that the determination and the decisions to keep the blatant disregard for their lives over one person’s political life. It really shows how little policy or little lives matter to the Conservatives, when they can destroy others, but cannot investigate themselves. This is a refusal to open government and to see what the Tories did wrong.
The UK government should be ashamed, should be disgusted and be in disbelief, they are not the pillar of democratic values, and neither a beacon of hope in the midst of bad behaviour. Because they are doing that themselves to their own citizens, stripping them of their nationhood and calling them illegal. When they have lived there generations and where allowed to enter back-in-the-day.
Nothing noble about this. It’s a theft of other people’s hard work and dedication, their will to move and settle down. Its theft of hope and also courage to move to a foreign place to set up shop. Instead of fixing the issues, they made it worse and now they cannot even stomach people looking into the mess the Tories themselves created. Because, because they are afraid of what May did in the past. Cowards, weaklings and disgusting human beings who should look into themselves and their attitudes as they have put other people in disarray, but are not doing anything to promise to fix it.
Except saving the grace of her grace, the Prime Minister, because she is apparently more important than the commoners, the people and the ones who seek refuge in the United Kingdom back-in-the-day. Peace.
