“The UK and the EU entered uncharted waters Friday after the country voted to leave the bloc. Shortly after the result, Prime Minister David Cameron announced his intention to resign in three months” (France 24 English, 2016)
“EU/ UK split must start as soon as possible, however possible” (Euro News, 2016)
“Pretoria, 24 June 2016 – President Jacob Zuma has suffered another legal blow. Zuma and the NPA have been denied leave to appeal the so-called spy tapes ruling. eNCA reporter Nickolaus Bauer has more from the North Gauteng High Court” (eNCA, 2016)

“So it is not in the interest of Britain to get out of this terrible Europe,” (…) ”So by leaving the EU while staying in the Single Market, you’re effectively deferring to an alien force in Brussels which is collapsing because you’ve left. How clever is that?” – Yannis Varoufakis (4th March 2016, yanisvaroufakis.eu).
This is a landmark day in the United Kingdom and Europe. I know the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) and the other immigration scaremongers will celebrate their ‘victory’. Let me be clear, I have never liked the European Union or the way it have had the ability to control the Europe from Brussels. So I am far from the men and woman who fears the unknown and the immigrants that are fleeing from war, conflict and economic instability elsewhere, something that has happen all through human history.
I have not enjoyed how the Conservative Party or the Liberal Democratic Party ways of addressing the Brexit either, as they have nearly said in so many words that the United Kingdom if they voted for departure from Brussels they would become a pariah state and closer to closure of the trades between the British Islands and the rest of Europe. Like all of a sudden the Multi-National Companies and the flow of international monies to the City of London would stop overnight… Something I doubt, because the greed of the economy and the international corporations would like to still sell fizzy-water and pre-made stew to the British consumer.

The idea that the Remain was so sure that their tactic of pulling numbers and using the moral high-ground and certainty that the United Kingdom’s population would all follow the line of the current leadership, was a high risk, as there been dissidents and growing insecurity as the NHS and others benefits been cut through austerity and the fear-mongering of European free-riders in the Kingdom have continued. Something that PM David Cameron have known about all-along and accept while Finance Minister George Osborne have smiled and grinned showed stats on Sky News and made assumptions that if UK joins Norway, Iceland and Switzerland they would end up with the Stone Age Economics instead of the hedge-fund infused laisses faire economy of our day.
The Brexit will have ripple-effect and the far-right movements will strive on their recent victory, though the ones like me who stands for Sovereign nations and Sovereign rights. They are another place in reality than the ones who fears the immigrants and eats on it. The vultures and culture fearing people who have then thinking that the Europe will be better with only ‘traditional’ Europeans. They have in my opinion lost the plot and misunderstanding the matters at hand.

“Today, there are speculative forces in the markets much bigger and more powerful. And they will be eager to exploit any miscalculations by the British government or British voters,” – George Soros
The Remain have forced itself with Economic numbers that can be questioned. The matter of the instability and currency of the British Pound, while the voting in different areas proves that the Scotland, Northern Ireland and Scottish Islands voted to Remain, while major areas like Wales and England in majority voted to exit the European Union. So that David Cameron resign with the loss, while waiting for Jeremy Corbyn Labour Party Leader fate is not yet signed.

While Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson will be all giddy. They have a giant victory on their hand, but created a uncertainty about the negotiations between the UK Government and the EU Commissions, EU Parliament and the EU Organizations towards the new positions of being a bystander to the bureaucracies of Brussels.
The ability of independent Islands and the closeness for the British to the continent have always been a strange relationship in their politics, from the far-fetched Tudor dynasties into the modern day, where they want the EU monies, but want to be controlling borders with all kind of tools, instead of the freedom of movement people from the continent towards the British Islands. As the Government of UK have done all kind of investment in Calais to secure that they can find illegal immigrations through the transport there and the UKIP and other have said there no-control of the cars and lorries there. So the scares and fear politics have been staggering.
That U.S. President Obama, which Germany Chancellor Merkel and other heavy-weights have at some point said that the UK should stay in EU, the initial response has been that the UK would be better off in the Union. Something that is expected as the Germany is the one who have had Iron-Fist on Brussels, while taming the Greek counterparts and meddling in their affairs while the Greek country have had to sell their silver for fiscal loans from the EU and IMF. The Grexit would have also caused turmoil, but not in the same level of Brexit.
Brexit is a more central economy in Europe and have a clearer place in the Union, therefore they have special position and also could decide to swallow laws and swallow regulation from Brussels. Now they will be negotiations between the UK and EU as their new role in the Brussels organizations and the EU Parliament.
European Union would not like this and have been expressed that they will not give in to the demands of United Kingdom if they would vote against the Union. That is expected that the Union would play hardball after being stripped of the title and losing one of their high-graded members, as they have all along during the recent years tried to get more on board, now they lost a key-member as the United Kingdom.

The Brexit will create a new Europe, as one of the key political forces and economic centres like London will be left more alone and trade their new reality with the European Union, as they will follow the will of the People, they will be in a place like the Norwegian, Swiss, Icelanders and other smaller nations that are partly in the EU and on the Outside at the same time.
The EU does not want to lose the City of London and the business centres of the United Kingdom, while the UK Government and the Parliament of Whitehall have to respond with cautions and mark the future policies from British and the European Union. European Union have for long acted without honour towards the nations who have struggled after the recession of 2008 and acted with fierce fiscal policies while the German and French have come better out of the negotiations.

This is now the role and the ability of people’s will, together with determined politicians from Britain that can determine the fate of the British Pound, the British Commonwealth and the distance between Britain and the rest of Europe, as they will try to find their path after a critical vote on economics and sovereign questions. The henchmen and the strength of the kingdom can only be clear as long as they restrict their rhetoric and take the high-road.
United Kingdom and the British people together with their relevance on the continent; as United Kingdom will try to find their new place in Europe and in European business, together with the trade-agreements and other allies on the continent as the new day will bring new questions and new forged agreements to settle the disputed withdrawal from the European Union. Peace.

WASHINGTON D.C., United States of America, June 24, 2016 – U.S Department of the Treasury, Press Release, 6/23/2016.
Action Targets Kinshasa Police Commissioner for Police Violence Against DRC Civilians
Today, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctioned a Congolese government official, Céléstin Kanyama, pursuant to Executive Order (E.O.) 13413, as amended by Executive Order 13671, which authorizes the designation of persons for specified conduct “contributing to the conflict” in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Specifically, OFAC designated Kanyama for being responsible for or complicit in, or having engaged in, directly or indirectly, the targeting of women, children, or any civilians through the commission of acts of violence, abduction, or forced displacement in the DRC, and for being a leader of an entity that has, or whose members have, engaged in such conduct. As a result of today’s actions, all assets of the individual designated that are based in the United States or in the control of U.S. persons are frozen, and U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with him.
Today’s action is not directed at the people of DRC. It is intended to alter the behavior of individuals involved in violence against civilians. The United Nations Joint Human Rights Office reported that the beginning of 2015 was marred by “an increase in the number of violations of political rights and public freedoms” committed by DRC government agents, particularly by police. In several provinces, security forces violently repressed demonstrations organized to oppose a new draft electoral law that many feared would allow President Kabila to run for a third term. Clashes between police and protestors have continued this year.
“As President Kabila’s constitutionally limited term nears its end in December, the regime has engaged in a pattern of repression, including the arrest of opposition members and violent suppression of political protests, all to avoid scheduling national elections,” said John E. Smith, Acting OFAC Director. “Treasury’s action today sends a clear message that the United States condemns the regime’s violence and repressive actions, especially those of Céléstin Kanyama, which threaten the future of democracy for the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.”

Céléstin Kanyama
General Céléstin Kanyama is the Congolese National Police (PNC) Provincial police commissioner for Kinshasa. Under his leadership, police forces engaged in the targeting of civilian protestors through acts of violence.
Kanyama was the primary commander of Operation Likofi, a police operation between late 2013 and early 2014 that was set up to combat criminal delinquency in Kinshasa. However, the operation reportedly did not enforce the law in Kinshasa, but instead used unlawful violent tactics to establish a climate of fear. During this operation, Kanyama was responsible for extrajudicial killings and forced disappearances. In raids across the city, uniformed police wearing black masks dragged suspects out of their homes at night at gunpoint with no arrest warrants. At least 50 young men and boys were reportedly killed, and over 30 were reported to be forcibly “disappeared” during the operation.
In January 2015, during Kanyama’s tenure as Kinshasa police commissioner, over 40 people were killed during demonstrations in Kinshasa, including at least 20 people fatally shot by security forces. The demonstrators were protesting proposed changes to the electoral law that many Congolese believed would permit President Joseph Kabila to stay in office beyond his mandated two-term limit.

Dear Mrs Kiiza!
“I am very alive to the fact that: no freedom, no political changes, comes without a cost” – Dr. Kizza Besigye
I am writing with hesitation as you have taken choices that was not the wisest in my opinion, you might see this as progress, but your doubting the Presidential Candidate and neglecting the General Election 2016, as you are disregarding the level of impunity from the National Resistance Movement, I know that TVO have written something hard-hitting about you recently, and as you as a person have the all the right to address, and you did so:
“ATTENTION: I have received information from my private investigators that someone calling himself TVO on socialmedia could have been bribed by government to isolate Dr Kizza Besigye from FDC and link him to a rebel group. If you have been following the so called TVO, you will understand that he has even announced that a new liberation movement will be launched soon to free Besigye from prison using violent means. as a party and as far as Besigye is concerned, we are not in any way connected to any violent group and we shall maintain our position of a non violent struggle until otherwise. I encourage criticism but for the mean time we shall continue investigating this socialmedia critic until we establish his true motives” (Winnie Kizza, 23.06.2016).
As you know a little what you have done and what kind of affect it has, you we’re smart yesterday and stated this, while taking some responsibility:
“YES, DR KIZZA BESIGYE IS IN PRISON BUT THE OUT SIDE OF BESIGYE’S PRISON IS THE INSIDE OF OUR PRISON: Fellow Ugandans, no body abandoned or betrayed Besigye. His arrest and imprisonment is part of the struggle. We should not forget that we are all prisoners, all Ugandans are Prisoners(even Museveni, himself is a prison caught up in a self-destructive cobweb). This is a struggle of liberating ourselves. Do not cry for Besigye cry for yourselves. Ladies and Gentlemen, we need to understand the nature of struggle we are in, the earire the better! Those of us who think that FDC and its leadership is about to throw away our primary objectives and core missions for a peaceful transition and systemic change of government, you are rubbing the wrong side of history. FDC has stood the test of time! We are more united, resolute and focused than ever. We shall rely on the wishes of millions of Ugandans who crave for change to dismantle the status-quo” (Winnie Kiiza, 22.06.2016).

So it is okay that you answer the allegations that TVO put on you, I have blatantly and no disregard towards the Shadow Cabinet, that you apparently are running now. Because it is just a tool and you are pawn on Museveni’s chess set. A necessary prop in the Parliament to keep his power and also to legitimize the farce of an election that was held; so when you are becoming this your partly disbanding the disobedience and defying Museveni and his NRM. You are complying to the façade that he creates with the “business as usual” and gives way for his power with impunity. He can show to the world that he has Opposition in his cabinet and a shadow cabinet to question his behaviour, while he is having all the main power and vetted votes in Parliament; so your real power is only words. The same words that claimed victory in February and March and dwindled while Besigye have gotten more court-dates than Museveni are getting foreign dignitaries on visit.
So you got to question yourself, what is the value of the Parliament and the Opposition, when you’re a useful pawn, a little soldier in the battle, a battle that Museveni controls and his loyal cadres, you can speak to NBS or NTV, smile and be interviewed in the Daily Monitor, but you’re a just a tool to validate the rule of Museveni. The prison of the conscious, the conscious you must be battling with, as you complied and wasn’t disobedient towards the throne and rule of Museveni. That must leave a bad taste, I won’t consider if Gen. Mugisha Muntu said you we’re the best or somebody else in the Forum for Democratic Change National Executive Committee, what is important you accept this fate and this chair. You took the bullet and accepted the institutional façade in 10th Parliament.

How can you ask for systemic change while degrading the cause to an ‘honourable’ position in the glance of the cranes not far from Yusuf Lule road? The reason for a change happens with a brutal change and disregard for the cronyism and nepotism of the National Resistance Movement and their corrupt ways, but when you are partly corrupted in the National Assembly and in the shadow of the Government, what makes you such a different to them?
I have always had hope in you, as you seem like person who wants to go against the powers to be, in the clear voice against violence and killings of late in Rwenzori and Kasese, the district which you represent. The mentality and determination that is healthy for an opposition and future leader, but the misgivings of a validating the ruling regime and giving up the cause so quickly in fear of losing some symbolic chairs, show that the honour is more important than the causes. That is why the words of yesterday are hard to swallow as you demeaning the cause and the clear path to peaceful liberation from totalitarian, police state and dictatorship, as you think putting sugar on the wounds really heals the flesh. I hate to say it, it don’t.
Let’s be clear if the LoP and the Shadow Cabinet had worked, then the ones in the former terms of Museveni had brought it down and it hasn’t, not even stained him or pushed him into a brick wall, not even touched or taken him for a ride. The reason is that the Parliament is controlled and run under strict hands of Museveni and his loyal cadres as Kadaga or any other men and woman who can be corrupted by brown envelopes.

This is something you know Hon. Kiiza, as you have been in Parliament a fortnight before and seen the 5 million Uganda shillings suits for the NRM MPs coming and going, every time Museveni needs certain laws and amendments fixed. So if you think you can change that with being LoP, than you need a strong mind-control and be able to pursuit the NRM MPs to change guards and go against their master. As the former LoP have been so successful with… the cause is not winning this, then there would be actual progress in the former trials of these runs towards the positive and democratic changes in the republic of Uganda.
You and the FDC NEC, the other FDC MPs, should have stood guards on the ethical and moral high-ground, even when it was costing with the oppressive attacks on the Headquarters, also with activists and MPs detained by the Police Force. Now you have abounded them for a Nobel position in Parliament.
You can attack me or other who doesn’t see the LoP and Shadow Cabinet as anything else than legitimising Museveni… that might not be what you want to hear, but that is the brutal truth.
With best regards on your role as pawn for Museveni.
Write of Minbane
“A coram of five justices of the Constitutional Court converged at Tweed Towers to begin hearing the main petition where the Attorney General is seeking a court order to ban Dr Kizza Besigye’s defiance campaigns, purportedly to overthrow the regime. However, the Justices adjourned the hearing of the petition saying that it would be unfair to hear the petition without Besigye in court. Besigye did not appear in court because there was no production warrant” (NTV Uganda, 2016).
