Police say they will not condemn any acts of hooliganism during the CORD protest (Youtube-Clip)

“Police insist they will not condone any acts of hooliganism during the ongoing protests againg the IEBC. Nairobi county commander Japheth Koome speaking earlier today said security forces will deal firmly with any provocations of violence” (KTN News, 2016)

The continuous harassment of the Opposition in Uganda; detained up-to 150 and more to come as the Swearing-In is around the corner!

Lukwago 09.05.2016

There are certain levels of misogyny and agony of the civilians and Opposition leaders that have their houses surrounded and the Police Force closely detaining them.

The levels of impunity and the access of them with that the Media is silenced and stopping to write on it as they fear the National Resistance Movement. The Media and Journalist fears the government so much that they even right after Hon. Jim Muhwezi said it was banned stopped saying the word “Defiance” on live TV; it was so hilarious and sad at the same time.

Today there is still nothing clarified with the whereabouts of Ingrid Turinawe, during the night Wafula Oguttu went from being monitored to become house-arrested. Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda is detained, Lord Mayor Lukwago is house-arrested, Dr. Kizza Besigye is house-arrested, Francis Mwijukye is either house-arrested or detained as his state is not cleared. There are estimated that the FDC Party have a 150 members and leaders in total together with the ones mentioned in jail, house-arrest and detained.

Interim Order Court Uganda April 2016 P1

The word Defiance is banned and the campaign of the opposition is by an unlawful decree or court order illegal. Which have made Forum for Democratic Change them illegal and all activity from them the same. By the ways the Police Force are acting and detaining them. Harassing them and taking them in. Without real charges or illegal activity as the Ruling Party NRM have troubles with Prayers and wearing Blue shirts in the country of Yellow and Steady Regress.

The Ruling Party NRM and President Museveni is gearing up for the Swearing-In to his 7th Term, though officially 5th Term, but it is Seventh Term because I does not cut away the first decade of his rule as he was unelected to that part. He grabbed the first ten-years in power and have done it again. Therefore he has to made FDC illegal!

MuseveniandIdiAmin

The Ruling Party is saying they are starting a NEW ERA with the Swearing-In on the 12th May, if that means to be draconian empire run by a President Museveni who eats alone. Who makes other thinkers and other men and woman criminal by a law that gets used when it fits the Executive! President Museveni is so controlling and so overbearing that he goes into investigations of killings of a Boda-Boda driver, all of sudden shows up at Hospital and complain at the underpaid staff that they are lazy, while his institutions are not delivering as promised equipment or medicines as the monies for this is embezzled by his loyal cronies!

The New Era is and will start with not the words of democratic values as it was ushered in, back in the day, even if there were uncertainties at the time as Museveni had no wish to open up the space for multi-party democracy. And it is now proven that he really never wanted it. It was just done to silence the foreign donors so he could be a continued fueled by donor funding to keep the budget balanced. Now he seems not to care.

Kampala 05052016 Arrest

The New Era starts with relics of the past oppression of opposition. They are detained and arrested. Some are even charged with terrorism by local courts. The other are detained for long and detained in jail. The proud regenerate government that was supposed to deliver something new and make the country stable and safe, not only for the political elite, but also for the people! That is what is happening now and therefore the NRM elite is trying to defend the inaccurate interim order that makes this all happen and mask the illegality of these arrest. As I cannot believe any nation, not even North Korea has laws where the “Prayers for the Nation” is banned and directly illegal.

The Police are surrounding the homes and detaining the FDC leaders in their homes and the silence of the media comes as result of the assault of the freedoms of speech and political liberty of people to choose their political aspiration. Seemingly is that the oppression and the levels of Police brutality as the ruling regime wish to have a silenced country in the coming days as the President is making himself ready for the Swearing-In at Kololo Independence Grounds.

Kampala 05052016 Army

So what more can the Police do then fill the prisons with the FDC members and leaders. House-Arrest their leaders and take them away with no charge or criminal activity behind them. The Police under Museveni is making the FDC the enemy and with a vile force, they might have detained at most 50 FDC leaders in 2011, but now they are up to 150! They want to rewrite history as the rule is illegitimate and not just. The truth is so and therefore President Museveni is Swearing-In with the gun and with the civilians and political advisories detained and house-arrested or taken away to unknown location.

FDC HQ 09.05.2016

Also the continued siege of the FDC Headquarters at Najjankumbi where the Police are entering and are arresting the FDC staff and bannishing the journalist from the property. As viable proof of the extent the NRM Regime is hassling with the guns to silence the FDC at this point. They are not allowed with party works or with orginizing their party as they are now totally in the mercy of the Police Force who got ‘Carte Blanche’  to take them all without charges or questions. They have even beaten the journalist who are there at the FDC Headquarters to learn them the lesson of not following instructions from the ruling regime.

In numbers the talley of who has been taken today alone:

“4 FDC leaders have been kidnapped.
1 senior attorney is languishing in hard-core criminal investigation police torture facility.
50 plus FDC Rukungiri supporters including leadership members.
37 other FDC activist brutaly arrested for attending prayers” (Moses Atocon Atyekwo, 09.05.2016).

His Power is not fueled by the People, the popular ballot, but instead by the force of the Police and the Army. As long as he is paying them and making them and the leadership of the army and police happy, then he might sustain, but the people should think about if the FDC and the FDC leadership can be taken without impunity, who is next? Are you or your neighbor as the Police will round you up in your home and detain you at the Police Post or the nearest Prison. Certainly the levels of arrests and detaining is gone too far as the unlawfulness of the NRM is in full bloom! Peace.

Elton Joseph Mabirizi statement on the illegal confinement of the opposition (09.05.2016)

Elton Joseph Mabirizi 17.11.15

Fellow Ugandans, fellow East Africans,

On behalf of The Independent Coalition and on my own behalf, we condemn the arbitrary arrest of opposition members in Kampala, Rukungiri, Kabale, Wakiso and other places.

We also condemn in the strongest terms the illegal confinement of President elect leader Dr. Besigye, the Leader of Opposition, Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago,Hon. Semujju and others yet verified, in their homes.

We appeal to all well meaning Ugandans and the East African fraternity to bring pressure to bear on the Museveni regime to treat his inevitable successors with dignity and respect the rule of law.

To all change agents in Uganda and abroad, this is the time for total unity and decisive action.
Let each one of us play their part in this challenging yet hopeful period.

The regime in Kampala is now at its weakest.

For God and My Country.

Lord Mayor Lukwago are house-arrested on the 5th Day as the Impunity of the NRM-Regime continues!

Lukwago 09.05.2016

Here is more new on the House Arrest of Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago. They continue with their impunity towards him and the greater FDC. As he is house-arrested in his home. This is just making the NRM regime looks like mockerty of a legitimate government. Because to keep themselves in power they have to keep fellow citizens under arrest.

Here is the words of Erias Lukwago:

“DAY 5 OF HOUSE ARREST. More troops have been deployed at the entrance to my home and they have improvised a seating facility in form of a newly made bench, which is being used as a check Point. I humbly appeal to Gen. Kayihura to be considerate enough to provide them with a mobile toilet. Otherwise, the situation is really dehumanising, not only to my family and the community around, but even the innocent police officers themselves. Ironically, I have just received information from our Law firm in Kamwokya that a card inviting me to the Thursday swearing ceremony, in the capacity of Lord Mayor-elect, has been deposited there” (Lukwago, 09.05.2016).

Lord Mayor Lukwago are on House-Arrest on the fourth day!

Lukwago 08.05.2016

As the times goes by the Uganda Police Force is still having the house of Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago under siege. They cannot help themselves and cannot stop with the interference of the Opposition. They have to be armed and be in resistance of themself. This is the day 4 of the House Arrest of the Mayor Lukwago. So the Police Force have occupied his street and his gate. If you wonder it is a breach of the laws of Uganda, but when has Museveni really cared about them? He does what he likes to the cost of the rest of the population.

Here is the words of Lukwago today:

“DAY 4 of HOUSE ARREST. As pangs of hunger and exhaustion take a toll on the poor policemen, I had mixed feelings; either grab the opportunity of sneaking out or be humane and magnanimous enough to give them some little bite” (Lukwago, 08.05.2016).

I think that is enough for today! Peace.

Peace.

The Oppression of the Opposition in Uganda; continues with vile force from the Calvary!

Ingrid Turinawe

Today on the 8th May of 2016 there is continued oppression of the Forum of Democratic Change as their Defiance Campaign continues!

FDC Mobiliser Ingrid Turinawe have been followed by the Police, and also been monitored by them. She first drove out of their home as they then stalked after her. Ingrid then drove down to Gayaza Trading Centre as the Police followed her. She was arrested around Kyetume Road in Gayaza as the Police surrounded her and have arrested her there.

Wafula Oguttu

He is not arrested by he has been monitored and followed in the recent days by the Police, the FDC leader Wafula Oguttu. The Police have been spying on his movement and not given him peace. As of last evening they even drove around his gate at 10:00 AM on a Saturday evening!

In Entebbe the Express Football Club coach Alex Gitta Mulibanga was arrested on the 5th May as the demonstrations was happening. Yesterday the Police continued his detaining him (7th May), but now put him behind bars at Kigo Prision.

Defiance Pens

As the levels of arrests in Rukungiri yesterday; there been reported that 20 FDC activists was arrested and charged with terrorism at local courts without evidence or any affidavit as the authorities wanted to silence the Political Party in the area. Today as a reaction to actions of the Police Force towards the local Political activist, have entered into anger. There are now reports of the Burning of the Electoral Commission offices in Rukungiri. The media is not allowed to see the offices as the Police are denying entrance to the area where the office is. So the media cannot verify it…

Kololo 09.04.2016 P3. Entertainer

It’s also been said from the official media that all the Presidential Candidates was invited to the Swearing-In of President Museveni at Kololo on the 12th May. But here was the answer from Dr. Kizza Besigye on the matter:

“I haven’t received the invitation yet but if receive it, it will go directly to the nearest dust bin. I will not attend a fake function”.

So the Opposition are still under fire as the Ruling National Resistance Movement is not delivering them peace or taking care of the citizens instead making them criminals for their peaceful assembly and their civil disobedience. Therefore we can feel the tension that is created between civil society and the Police Force, who has all the violence and powers to apprehend fellow citizens as shown in recent days.

This will continue. Peace.

The House-Arrest of Opposition Presidential Candidate of Moïse Katumbi in the Democratic Republic Congo; and the Fear Tactics of President Kabila too regain the Presidency for a third term!

DRC 07.05.2016

They are gearing up for coming General Elections in Democratic Republic of Congo. Where the incumbent President Joseph Kabila is making sure his candidature is the ones to recognize. As the other candidates are stifled with and intimidated that is why we have seen the army and the military vehicles in Lubumbashi in Katanga and in Kinshasa. Because the DRC civilians don’t need peaceful means; instead they need weapons to underscore the value of their ballot.

Clip from April 2016:

“The Populaton who sings ” Moïse President” before being dispersed by the lacrymognes of the army…”

As it is Opponents have vouched for another man the incumbent President. This man is no other than former Governor of Katanga, Moïse Katumbi who owns TP Mazembe, the team who have won the grand title of CAF Champions League twice!

Moise Katumbe DRC 04.05.2016

The House-Arrest of Presidential Candidate Katumbi:

“‪#‎Exclusive: is since 12 h30 under arrest. It will be tomorrow at Kinshasa to be submitted to the attorney general of the Republic” (Oeil d’Afrique, 05.05.2016).

Monusco Katumbi 05.05.2016

This is what happens after he said he would run on the 5th of May:

“this is the response of kabila to my candidacy for president… No matter what happens I keeps my candidacy…” (Voice of Congo, 05.05.2016).

Moise Katumbi DRC 07.05.2016 Army

U.S. Response to Allegations:

“The U.S. Embassy in Kinshasa condemns in the strongest terms the ambush on a MONUSCO convoy last night near Beni, which resulted in the deaths of two Tanzanian United Nations peacekeepers. We recognize and honor the ultimate sacrifice of these soldiers, who are part of a United Nations mission dedicated to bring peace and stability to the Democratic Republic of Congo. We offer our deepest sympathies to the families of the soldiers and the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, as well as their fellow peacekeepers at MONUSCO” (U.S. Mission in Kinshasa, 06.05.2016).

DRC Mercenaries 06.05.2016

First Answer from Katumbi:

“”They call me a rebel. But the rebels are people who don’t want to hold elections in our country.” (Zambian Day, 06.05.2016).

Message from Felix Tshisekedi said this:

“I forcefully denounces, these methods Stalinist who is to muzzle the opposition. Together with Moïse, let us resist the dictatorship” (Diaspora Katangaise, 06.05.2016).

DRC North Kivu 07.05.2016

In Northern Kivu:

“Youth Katumbiste North Kivu assemble around the general coordinator in the person of Hon. Maris Mambo to acquire information on PresidentMoïse  Katumbi and reiterate their full support to his candidacy for the presidential elections in 2016” (Ensemble Pour Moise Katumbi, 07.05.2016).

Katumbi 07.05.2016 Letter to Prosecuter

Today’s Message from Moïse Katumbi:

1) Since this morning, police forces are surrounding my house. To arrest me. This is Kabila’s response to my presidential bid !

2) No matter what occurs, I maintain my bid and remain firm in my peaceful struggle for the rule of law. Democracy will win.

In the end Kabila’s Men failed to Arrest @moise_katumbi The UN soldiers Intervened.

That’s just outside his house along Lofoi Street, Manuciple de Golf, Lubumbashi” (Katumbe, 07.05.2016).

So as we see, the Opposition leaders are under attack, the owner of TP Mazembe of Lubumbashi, Katanga Province in Democratic of Congo. Who are now running against two-term President Kabila and trying to overcome his ruling hand. There hasn’t been a peaceful change of Power in DRC since Independence. As we have seen with the three Presidents before in the country like Mobutu Sese Seko, Patrice Lumumba and Laurent Kabila where all overthrown by the gun and not by the ballot.

Pro Justicia Moise Katumbi DRC 2016

Before even his candidature I wrote about the military presence that President Kabila already has used to intimidate people to vote for him. Therefore he continues to oppress his opponents and even give them a phony charge to secure that there no viable candidate, but himself. This is not a new scare tactic, I am sure the Roman Senate of Roman Empire they did the same. So the mentality of owning Power is still viable and the ghost of the past resurrects just in new forms and with new names. Peace.

“This week, DA Leader, Mmusi Maimane, discusses President Zuma’s spy tapes case” (Democratic Alliance, 2016)
