Let me tell what I think about Western media focus on Uganda recently. It’s ironic. That in the same time President Museveni has moved closer to mother Russia. Then it’s easier to move away from the western hemisphere and we all know how Russians are towards the gay. So gay! T.a.t.u. gay.
President Museveni and Uganda had already strong laws condemning Gays. So know their like in Nigeria, Cameroon, Gambia, Zambia, Senegal, Tunisia, Morocco Algeria, Zimbabwe and Malawi. In Uganda it shouldn’t be a surprise to the world that this is happening. The miniskirts issue to that their soon banned. But nobody makes fuzz about it.
Nearly no fuzz about the UPDF that went into South Sudan at the first spark of fire between Salva Kirr and Riek Machar. Nobody starting saying stuff until it was February and the issues and fighting started in December. They started to care but really late and still with the push. UPDF is not out of South Sudan.
President Museveni has other issues that should be discussed first. That he is throwing FDC and DP members into jail without reason and usually without trial. Especially Dr. Kizza Besigye. He must have a certain space named after him in the jails of Kampala. And still they call it democracy – because he kind of again for either the fourth or fifth term elected as president. The other parties are just getting seats in parliament, but always so that the party formed by the President has over 50 % and running the parliament.
Nobody cares about the cronies and especially Amina Mbabazi the Vice President. Who sure has stolen more money from the coffers then anybody could anticipate in the past. The share amount of ministers, the most special one in the world is the Minister without an Office/Portifolio! Nobody cares.
Nobody cares that he has in recent years made more districts, parishes then Daniel Arap Moi did in the past in Kenya. This is really an achievement. It has been taken out of proportions 45000 local councils, 5500 parishes, 1026 sub-counties, 151 counties, 18 muncipipatalities and 80 districts. The issue is that during his reign he has created most of this, and the issue is that nobody cares.
Somewhere sits Mr. Mahogany and is sad, and nobody cares.
Government electric company UMEME has had issues all year long. I don’t know how many complaints that have come from friends on Facebook and also commentaries on East African and Daily Monitor. New Vision papers coming with empty promises of fix ups on the lines but nobody cares, it’s just a basic as electricity.
That the literacy is just over 50 % and nobody cares.
Media houses and radio’s being closed for no apparent reason, well for the reason that they supposed to support the ‘Walk to Work’ protests. But nobody really cares, especially its just freedom of speech not like that matters anymore.
All of this madness I have listed. Not that the world really cares about that. For a simple reason the mafia of the gay mob. Sorry for that. The gay power over western media and the governments we have swallow the scallops like candy. So here we are, at the crossroads. Universalism and Human Rights, by the way, I know that the gay law put into effect today hurt on that on all counts. I know they defend it on African values and not being pushed by western powers. Nobody likes to play like a dog, especially when your grown ass men who want to define your own ways of freedom. President Museveni has had the seat since 1986. That is as long as I have graced mother earth.
It’s like we’re all in the west under the rainbow banner of the gays. Sorry brother we are not. This isn’t Tetris where we are leveling up! Then I am sure someone is winning. Especially the minister without office or portifolio(BTW a dream-job).
This isn’t Lion King with Scar. Not a fairytale with a happy ending. So here we are in real life. And that is all that the media outside of Uganda sees. Like a blasting colorful charade of madness. It’s like an illness that spreads as wildfire. And all I see is foolishness and a media who is blind. I have to order sticks and dogs to lead the way, because this is rubbish.
That matter is, if it is a normal corruption, stolen items, burnt down houses, landslides, environmental problems around Lake Albert with oil – nobody would care or write bad about President Museveni unless its about gay law. That is the only thing the world cares about!
